I bought a [redacted] Lincoln Aviator last year. Ever since, I have been struggling to get it fixed. The paddle shifters are not working, and the AC doesn't cool the car during the hot desert summer. This is the first American car I've purchased in decades, but if the issues persist, I might have to sell it. The customer service experience for this Black Label model has been disappointing. When the car was brought in for two weeks without a loaner, no repairs were made. The dealerships in Tucson, Az don't seem to care about resolving the problems effectively. I was informed that the leather interior causes the heat issue and was given incorrect information about the manual shift mode and paddle shifters. The rear camera repair is delayed, leaving me without essential safety features. Assistance with these issues would be greatly appreciated. Best regards, R. G. VIN [redacted] Phone: [redacted]

About six weeks ago, we brought our [redacted] Milan (VIN#3MEHM08157R614121) to Crest Lincoln in Sterling Heights for two recalls - one for a faulty valve in the brake system and the other for an airbag issue. They kept the car for six weeks, citing part unavailability and awaiting instructions from engineers due to unresolved issues. They called my wife once, inquiring about the seat belt light, which she said they could fix only if part of the recall. However, they proceeded without her consent and now want to charge $[redacted]. When researching Safety Recall 21S12, I found that the passenger side should have been inspected and fixed too. As loyal Ford customers for decades, we feel exploited in this situation and hope for a resolution.

I have a [redacted] Lincoln MKX. At 60,[redacted] miles, I had to replace the exterior grommets because water was entering the interior of my vehicle. The grommets are clearly a production issue since they shouldn't fail unless they were defective when installed during production. It's concerning that a 3-year-old vehicle would need repairs on items crucial for manufacturing and sealing the interior against water intrusion. Lincoln charged me almost $1,[redacted] for the repair, which is unreasonable considering the issue stemmed from faulty grommets used during production. After the Lincoln authorized dealership fixed the problem, my vehicle smelled musty due to water intrusion. They failed to clean and deodorize it properly before returning it to me.

I visited my local Lincoln dealer to address a safety recall notice for my [redacted] Grand Marquis due to Lighting Control Module failure. While waiting in line, the car's "spindle" failed, affecting the gear shift lever. After a week at Star Lincoln Mercury of Southfield without a loaner, the technician attempted a repair by gluing the spindle. The recall fix was completed, but the spindle failed again shortly after, and the headlights remained unreliable. I acquired a spindle from a junkyard and tried to have it replaced at Star Lincoln, but was informed they do not service cars over 10 years old. Despite contacting the Service Manager, I received no response. I seek to have the spindle installed and headlights fixed using the $[redacted] inspection fee already paid, or transfer the credit to another Lincoln dealership for the repairs.
