I own a brass Y-shut off valve from Lee Valley, specifically Item AL228 from their catalogue. I've had it for several years and found it to be of good quality. Recently, the female nut disconnected from the retainer on the valve body. This occurred before the winter freeze as I always remove it before the cold weather arrives. I don't believe I overtightened it, but it still broke. I would like to replace it for the upcoming season. If needed, I can provide a photo of the issue.
