I am looking to purchase a replacement part. I attempted to use the chat feature, but unfortunately, it was not successful. The representative kept providing me with incorrect information about the part I needed. Despite my efforts to explain that the part number provided did not match what I have, we were disconnected abruptly. I called yesterday and was informed that someone would contact me, but I have not received any response yet. My experience with Larson representatives has not been satisfactory. LD Ray. I bought a "custom order" Larson storm door in May [redacted], but the single screen did not fit. After receiving another screen that arrived damaged, a third replacement was also not the right fit. When advised to have a repairman stretch the screen, I disagreed, as I had already tried to stretch it myself with no success. I suggested Lowe's should request a Larson representative to assess and fix the issue. However, weeks have passed without any contact to arrange an appointment. I paid nearly $1,[redacted] for the storm door and feel frustrated with the situation in Delaware.

I've had a [redacted] full-view screen door that hasn't been functioning properly for two years, despite replacing the screen twice. Fortunately, I have purchased the necessary parts to upgrade the door, but I'm having trouble removing the upper sash. I've tried reaching out for help but had difficulty getting through via phone or chat. Finally, on Friday, 10/25, at noon, I received a call back and spoke with Specialist Cory, who concluded that my door needs a warranty replacement. Cory was very helpful, and I am relieved to finally have a solution to this ongoing issue. While a replacement is on the way, I now need assistance with installation as the door is too heavy for me to handle. I am planning to get the door from Menards unless there is another recommendation for both purchase and installation services.

I drove [redacted] miles to Lowe's to purchase a storm door. When I got back home and installed it, I realized there was no latch, only two handles. It was frustrating to find out the door wasn't complete. It would have been helpful if the salesman mentioned that I needed to buy a latch separately, as I now risk the door being damaged by the wind. I'm annoyed by the oversight and the additional cost. Where can I find the latch and how much does it cost?

Hello, I recently acquired a home with Larson Classic-View Series Storm/Screen Doors on the front double entry doors. Unfortunately, the previous owner modified the door handles to prevent their dog from escaping. The door seems to have been installed in [redacted] based on the installation code [redacted] LM 5/00. Pages 11 (troubleshooting) and page 12 (parts list) are missing from the instructions booklet. I am seeking to replace all the hardware in brushed nickel, including the hinges. However, I do not have a parts guide or price list. I would appreciate any assistance as I prefer not to replace the doors entirely. Thank you in advance for your help. Bob B. I am comparing the features of the [redacted] Easy Vent XTR with hidden closer storm door and the Premier Classic Elegance Easy Vent with retractable screen away. Both doors offer retractable screen away, low E coating, and a deadbolt lock. The [redacted] Easy Vent includes a hidden closer and a 4 in 1 retractable screen away, while the Premier Classic Elegance Easy Vent features a hold open closer, retractable screen away (not 4 in 1), and Extreme weather protection. In terms of advantages, the [redacted] Easy Vent offers the hidden closer and 4 in 1 retractable screen away, while the Premier model presents Extreme weather protection. To determine the better door for your needs, consider the significance of hidden closer and 4 in 1 retractable screen away compared to Extreme weather protection.

I recently set up a Platinum series storm door that features a screen which slides down with the top window. The door has a hidden closure mechanism that causes it to slam shut after it "bounces" a few times, but only when I open it to a 90-degree angle. Otherwise, it just slams shut without bouncing. I followed the instructions provided, turning the screw clockwise until it stops and then backing off by one turn. Despite trying to adjust it by small increments, half a turn each way, the issue persists. My next thought is to add a pneumatic cylinder closer to the top of the door. However, I am unsure about the components within the door frame at the top. Any suggestions on how to address this problem would be greatly appreciated.

While attempting to install a new Larson door, I realized the safety chain components were missing. I tried calling three different customer service numbers provided with the door, but Larson's voicemail kept telling me to call back later. After approximately 23 calls, I managed to leave three call back requests. Strangely, twice the call back went straight to voicemail without ringing my phone, a trick I do not understand since my phone never misses calls unless it's in airplane mode. I just made the third call back request a few minutes ago. I turned to GetHuman for more information.
