I recently had a reservation with booking reference KBZTW and ticket numbers. I requested a change of schedule, but the receptionist, Elana Schneider, was very rude, which was quite upsetting. Her behavior does not align with the high standard of customer service I usually experience with Korean Air, a company I frequently fly with. Instead of calling the office in Israel, I have asked my family in the Philippines to cancel my ticket. I have purchased a ticket with another airline. I hope to receive a prompt response from your office. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Dominador Ledesma Jr. I made a reservation on the Korean Air website. I have received my itinerary and e-ticket via email. The ticket number is [redacted][redacted], and the booking reference is [redacted]9. My concern is that the name on my ticket does not include "JR" after my first name "DOMINADOR," as shown on my passport. My passport displays "DOMINADOR JR" for given names and "LEDESMA" for the last name. When I entered my information on the website, I followed my passport exactly, but the name on the email PDF only shows "LEDESMA/DOMINADOR MR" as the passenger name. Should I expect issues during airport check-in? Is there a way to correct this, or can I proceed with it as is? I would appreciate any assistance on this matter. Thank you.

I am turning 80 on April 1st and have heart disease requiring a pacemaker. Sitting for long periods causes swelling and pain in my legs despite wearing compression socks. Reclining resolves this. I plan to travel from Thailand to Atlanta for my birthday in April. I am flexible with travel dates and willing to fly on any day of the week. I am exploring the possibility of upgrading from an economy ticket to Prestige or Business Class due to my medical condition. Last year, I flew Prestige Class with Korean Air Skypass using ba[redacted]5 member ID under Jon Edwards and I believe my family miles were utilized. Unfortunately, I cannot afford the full fare for Prestige Class. I am seeking information on how to potentially obtain a complimentary or low-cost upgrade based on my medical requirements. Thank you. - Jon Edwards

I am looking for information regarding a Taipei (Taoyuan) to Barcelona (El Prat) flight. I've come across information online stating that Korean Air allows adding extra luggage post-payment, at least 48 hours before departure. Can you confirm this for economy class bookings made on their website with my basic membership? While booking, I didn't notice any options to include additional luggage. Does economy class only permit one checked bag? The website indicates economy passengers can check in one bag for free and pay a fee for two more pieces. Appreciate your help.

Hello, I wanted to share my recent experience on a flight from JFK to Korea in September and back to NY in October. On my flight, I encountered some issues with my 4-year-old son's meal plan not being prepared as requested. Even though I had set it up a month before due to his dietary needs, the airline had no record of it and was unable to accommodate. My son fell ill during the flight, and I had to request an extra soup for him to eat. Additionally, on the return flight with my grandmother, her seat was broken, and if someone had occupied the middle seat between my mother and her, it would have been a very uncomfortable journey for her. Despite the airline's apology, they could not fix her seat, but luckily the middle seat remained vacant.

I booked a round trip flight from Japan to Delhi for an international conference scheduled from the 19th to the 31st. However, I received an email yesterday (16th Dec) from the organizers informing me that due to some reasons, the conference has been cancelled. I immediately submitted a cancellation request yesterday. The flight I booked is refundable, and being a university student, my university will no longer cover the expenses since the conference has been called off. I kindly ask for a full refund as this cancellation has put me in a difficult financial situation. I hope you can consider my request, as the flight seat can still be utilized by another passenger. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.

On February 2nd, I purchased a flight from Shanghai (PVG) to Cam Ranh (CXR) via Seoul (ICN) for February 3rd. Upon arriving at PVG airport, the check-in staff communicated with ICN colleagues who advised against taking the flight due to the coronavirus situation. Vietnamese authorities were denying entry to individuals who had been in China within the last 14 days. Despite this, I decided to cancel the flight and requested a refund, only to be informed of a [redacted] RMB penalty. I find this penalty unreasonable, especially considering the circumstances surrounding the cancellation and the lack of information on Korean Air's website regarding this issue. As of today, it is still possible to book the same flight without any warning. I believe the refund penalty should be waived given the situation.

Korean Air has canceled our advanced seat selections for my flight on April 7, [redacted], from Bangkok to Seoul (flight KE660) due to an equipment change. A new aircraft type has been assigned, causing this inconvenience. The cancellation did not come with instructions on how to rebook the seats. I have attempted to do it online but encountered issues with the system. It's essential for my wife and me to sit together, so we need to secure two seats again.

Korean Air recently canceled our advanced seat booking for one leg of our trip due to an equipment change. However, they did not provide any guidance on how to rebook our seats on the new flight. Despite multiple attempts to use their advanced seating system to book new seats, our efforts have been unsuccessful. My spouse and I are traveling together, and our record locator for the entire trip is [redacted]8 (OWYQ55). This pertains to our flight from YVR to BKK via ICN with a return journey. The specific canceled seat selection was for the BKK to ICN flight on KE660 on April 7th.

My wife, H. B. Lozon, is currently in the USA while our daughter is in the Philippines. Unfortunately, our daughter gave birth prematurely this morning and now my wife urgently needs to return to the Philippines to assist her and the baby. Her original return flight on Korean Airlines Flight KE36 is scheduled for 17 March [redacted] with the booking code 1A/N734RP. We are looking to change her flight to depart from Hartsfield Int'l Airport in Atlanta, Georgia on or after 24th February, ideally on a Korean Airlines Flight. Thank you.

I purchased three round-trip tickets from a local travel agency for a family vacation from LAX to ICN on January 10, [redacted]. The reservation code is RSKDXQ, and the airline reservation code is LGBI6X(KE). Due to the severe Coronavirus epidemic in Korea, we must cancel our trip. We are surprised that the Korean government is allowing Chinese nationals to enter Korea despite the situation, while Hong Kong and Taiwan have implemented travel restrictions. We kindly request a full refund for our tickets due to the global Coronavirus outbreak. Please consider offering a penalty-free refund to resolve this issue. Thank you.

I have a confirmed flight with Korean Air from Manila to Boston with booking reference #1[redacted] (SIVDHT). My flight is on KE624 departing Manila on 3/12. The Seoul to Boston part of my journey, KE 91, got canceled, and I've been rebooked on KE 81 to JFK in New York. Due to the level 3 CDC travel advisory in South Korea, landing in New York may pose difficulties getting home. I'm requesting Korean Air to rebook me on a flight that arrives in Boston like Emirates' EK [redacted] on 3/11 connecting through Dubai with EK [redacted] to Boston on 3/12. I've traveled with Korean Air between Boston and the Philippines four times, establishing customer loyalty. The ticket is under my name, William D Schmidt.

I made a reservation in early February for a trip to Thailand with my children to attend a friend's wedding. Unfortunately, my itinerary has been changed four times, causing conflicts with the wedding date. Additionally, due to concerns about the coronavirus, especially with long layovers in South Korea and my son's health condition making him susceptible to pneumonia, the situation has become more complicated. I noticed on Phuket news that passengers arriving from South Korea may face a 14-day quarantine. As a single father who has worked hard to save up for this trip, I am deeply disappointed and hope for a resolution to this matter.

Hello, I am Dr. C. Bustamante, and I need assistance with my damaged luggage. My journey was from Manila to JAX with entry in Atlanta on Jan 30, [redacted]. My Booking Reference is [redacted]2 (6KG8QJ) and Ticket number [redacted][redacted]. I am counting on my insurance to guide me through this process if the necessary documentation is provided. Please assist me in fulfilling the requirements set by my insurer and kindly send the details to [redacted] Thank you.

My niece booked a ticket through Cheapoair for her maid to travel from Saudi Arabia to Dubai, then from Dubai to Seoul, and finally from Seoul to Manila. However, upon arrival at the airport, they were denied boarding because Seoul required a quarantine. The confirmation number for the booking is 3k8fy2 under the name Melanie Bolalin. I am requesting a full refund as this quarantine requirement was not mentioned on the ticket. My maid is frustrated, missing her family, and has lost money as a result.

Hello, I need assistance regarding my recent flight experience. On January 15th, [redacted], I flew with Korean Air from Mongolia to LAX. Upon retrieving my luggage from baggage claim and heading towards the exit, airport staff inquired about my destination. I mentioned I was headed to Chicago, where my connecting flight was scheduled. They proceeded to scan and take my bags, assuring they would be transferred to my next flight. Upon reaching Delta Gate 25A, I sought confirmation from the ticketing agent regarding my luggage and was informed that everything was in order. During my layover in Detroit, I double-checked with another agent who confirmed the same. However, upon arrival in Chicago, Delta was unable to locate my luggage, stating they were not accountable. Currently, my bags only have Korean Air tags. I kindly request your assistance in locating my belongings. Your help is greatly appreciated as I am unsure of the next steps to take. Thank you for your support.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am having trouble signing in to my Skypass membership account. I recently tried to register again due to an error indicating a duplicate account under my name, date of birth, and email address. Unfortunately, I made a mistake in the process. After not traveling for a while because of the pandemic, I realized my old membership number ([redacted]21) is not showing any mileage. I discovered that I needed to convert my old 8-digit ID (B[redacted]4) to a 12-digit membership number before my last trip. I received an email about my membership e-statement, showing one account with mileage (presumably the old one) and another without. How can I delete the new membership and retrieve the 12-digit number for my original account with the mileage? Thank you and best regards, Jong
