I bought a Kitchenaid refrigerator from Home Depot on 08/10/[redacted] (model # KRFF 707ESS01) along with their 5-year warranty. Recently, the fridge started warming up despite regular cleaning for airflow. The warranty sent a repairman who replaced fans and other parts, initially fixing the issue. However, the ice maker stopped working afterward. Another repairman replaced the ice maker, but the problem persists. I'm frustrated with Kitchenaid, feeling let down after spending a significant amount on what I believed to be a top brand. Currently, we're awaiting another repair visit.

Purchased a dishwasher model KDPM604KPS on July 7, installed it on July 14. On July 28, a strong electrical smell appeared 22 minutes into a cycle. No plastic was found on the element, causing the dishwasher to stop working with water remaining. A technician identified a malfunctioning circuit board, which is currently out of stock, recommending keeping the power off to prevent fire. Without a repair timeline, we are left with a costly dishwasher used for only two weeks. Considering it failed within 30 days, a replacement is needed. Contact by phone at [redacted].

I have bought three of the KitchenAid 2.0 Quart Kettles with C Handle and Trim Band in Empire Red (KTEN20CBER). One was a gift, and the other two were for personal use. Unfortunately, the first kettle chipped and rusted quickly. We purchased a second one, but it is also chipping and showing signs of failure. We did not mishandle the kettle. We are disappointed with the product and wonder if this is a common issue. Are there any replacement options available?

I purchased a KitchenAid 7-speed hand mixer in Contour Silver on Tuesday night using my iPhone. During the confirmation process, there was a screen overlap issue, and my order number wasn't visible. I tried to track the shipment through the app but couldn't as I lack the order number. I've called twice but got disconnected after a 30-minute wait both times. The order is a gift for Kelly Fleetwood at [redacted] S. Walnut St., Seymour, Indiana [redacted]. I am the buyer, Deborah J Mann at [redacted] Glen Pointe Ct., Springfield, VA [redacted], and the payment has been deducted. I just need the order number to track the purchase and an update. Also, I never received an email confirmation of the purchase.

I recently purchased a Kitchen Aid refrigerator, stove, and microwave from Best Buy. Unfortunately, the refrigerator is experiencing issues and needs repair. Best Buy has offered me an in-store credit for a replacement, but the same model or any other Kitchen Aid refrigerators are unavailable in my area. I am frustrated that after investing in these matching appliances, I am left without a functioning refrigerator. I need assistance from Whirlpool Corp to resolve this situation promptly.

Dear Forum Members,
We appreciate any help you can provide with our beloved KitchenAid Toaster. Unfortunately, the small plastic handles on both crumb pans have broken, and we are struggling to reach KitchenAid for replacements. If anyone has information on ordering replacement pans, we would be very grateful.
Thank you for your support!

I'm seeking assistance with our KitchenAid refrigerator purchased at Sears 3 years ago. Despite multiple repair attempts and component replacements, the fridge continues to have issues and has not functioned properly since we purchased it. We opted for KitchenAid due to its reputation for reliability, but our experience has been disappointing. With Sears out of business and challenges with the extended service plan, we are unsure how to address this ongoing problem. Today marks the fourth repair visit this year alone, with multiple parts already replaced. We are scheduled for another repair, including the compressor. This prolonged issue has led to food loss and persistent ice-making problems. Any guidance on how to resolve this frustrating situation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am puzzled by the variety of models and colors you offer since they are all sold out with no waitlist option. It's disappointing to not even know when they will be back in stock. Your company seems to have declined, and I will look elsewhere like Amazon for better service. I am frustrated and will leave a negative review due to the lack of products and support. It's disappointing that the Proline tilt I wanted was not available in the correct color and I couldn't even wait for it. Blaming this on external factors will not change my opinion. This situation is unacceptable.

I have been purchasing American-made appliances for nearly 50 years following my late mother's recommendation. I have always trusted Whirlpool, KitchenAid, and Maytag due to their reliability. About a decade ago, I upgraded my laundry and kitchen with products from the Whirlpool Company including a Maytag washer and dryer, two high-end KitchenAid dishwashers, a double oven, and a Whirlpool refrigerator/freezer.
Despite only my wife and I living in our house with the convenience of two dishwashers, I am facing issues with one of them, specifically model number KUDE70FVSS2. After one dishwasher needed a sensor replacement last year, now the other one requires a pump and diverter assembly replacement, costing me over $[redacted]. As a loyal customer, I am disappointed with this unexpected repair.

I have a 10-year-old refrigerator with model number KSS042QTX04 and serial number S[redacted]4. I have never had issues changing water filters until recently. The last replacement cartridge I used was a dark blue one, but when I tried to install a new KitchenAid EveryDrop filter #3, it would not push in properly. I tried another new filter with the same result. Many online complaints echo my experience, saying the new filters do not fit. Some have opted to go without a filter, but I prefer not to due to our water quality. Any advice on what to do next would be appreciated. Thank you, Charles S.

I am incredibly dissatisfied with how our service request for our nearly $5,[redacted] refrigerator has been handled. We bought it in March [redacted], and after just 6.5 months, it stopped working. With two young children, including a two-month-old baby, and elderly parents to care for, the situation is extremely frustrating. The resolution team's only response has been apologies. After waiting a week for someone to check the unit, we were informed that the part would take 7 to 10 days to arrive. Now they are saying it might take up to 21 days, with no guarantee. The service procedures in place are inadequate, and every representative we've spoken to seems unwilling to help. The only suggested course of action was to write a letter to Corporate Headquarters, but this feels like a delaying tactic due to the slow implementation process. KitchenAid/Whirlpool's communication methods with customers are shockingly inefficient.

I purchased a KitchenAid refrigerator from Lowe's almost a year ago with my other kitchen appliances. About two months ago, the upper part of the refrigerator stopped working. Lowe's arranged for S&S Appliance to fix it, but it's been a frustrating experience.
The technician identified the issue as the thermistor and needed another two weeks to get the part. After replacing it, the refrigerator only worked for two days before the same problem occurred. They mentioned another part needing replacement, causing further delays of up to two more weeks.
Having four foster kids, we've been using a temporary refrigerator for two months. This situation is concerning as the state inspection is pending, and we don't have a definite repair date. Despite my patience, I urgently request assistance in getting a new refrigerator from Lowe's before the situation escalates.

I purchased a Kitchenaid trash compactor from Best Buy on July 29, [redacted]. Unfortunately, on August 22, [redacted], the compactor sparked and stopped working. Best Buy advised me to contact Kitchenaid. After facing long wait times on the phone, I engaged in an online chat with Brandi on 8/26. She directed me to the safety department, where I had troubles reaching someone. Finally, on 8/27, the safety department reached out, but I missed their call. They scheduled a repair for 9/4 between 8-12. The repair was delayed, and we rescheduled multiple times. Even when the repair was done on 10/22, the technician didn't test it properly, and the compactor still has issues. We paid $[redacted].00 for a faulty product we could only use for 22 days. We are frustrated with the delays and problems and would like a replacement unit that works properly. Thank you. - Mrs. Monica W.

Hi,
I am contacting you regarding order number [redacted].
I made a purchase at the end of September for a stand mixer. Although I have received the package, I did not receive any notification that the item had been shipped - the status of the item still shows as awaiting shipment. Moreover, the package was not gift wrapped as per my request. I can provide photos to support this if necessary. The lack of shipping information meant my girlfriend received the package before me, ruining the surprise. Also, the missing gift wrapping spoiled the birthday surprise I had planned. I hope KitchenAid can show some understanding by providing a refund for the gift wrapping service at a minimum.
Please inform me if this request is feasible or if you need more details.
Thank you,
Brian

I scheduled an appointment with all the details about my warranty coverage and provided my contract number #[redacted]. The service representative from Diamond Factory Service showed up and claimed the appointment was not correctly set up as a warranty service, so they couldn't order parts until a new appointment was scheduled under warranty. I have been waiting on hold for 3 hours with no response other than music. This whole situation is extremely frustrating considering it took me more than a month to even reach your company and secure this appointment. I am now feeling very disappointed and regret purchasing any Kitchen Aid appliances.
Thank you,

On 11/18/[redacted], I made an order with ID #[redacted] and was charged $[redacted].93. I later received an email stating that my order was cancelled. After hours on the phone, I was informed it was flagged as fraudulent due to restrictions on mixers/blenders, although I ordered an immersion/hand held blender. I placed a second order, #[redacted], charged $[redacted].93 (without the 10% discount). This order was also cancelled. I request to receive one item I purchased at a discount and to refund the second charge. If not possible, please refund both charges and I'll shop elsewhere. Thank you for addressing this issue.

I have spent over an hour on the phone today and 40 minutes yesterday trying to resolve this issue. I placed an order #[redacted] and then received an email congratulating me on the order, only to be followed by another email stating that it was cancelled. Despite reaching a customer service representative, there was no explanation for the cancellation. I was advised to reorder the item to secure it, but then received yet another cancellation email for the second order, while being charged for both. I am seeking assurance that I will receive the product I ordered with the discount promised, as well as a refund for the duplicate order. If not, I request an immediate refund for both orders. This situation is escalating, and I am looking for a prompt resolution.

I purchased a KitchenAid Ultra Power Mixer, Model KSM90Wh, serial# WF[redacted] a few years back. It has been working fine until recently. My spouse used it to make a cake, and after eating it, we both felt unwell. Later, after a second serving, we felt the same way. She mentioned seeing brown streaks in the batter but assumed they were part of the mix. Upon closer inspection, I discovered excessive oily residue under the motor housing, with oil dripping into the mixing bowl (likely causing the brown streaks). We immediately stopped using it. I have pictures of the residue, but unfortunately, I cannot attach them here. Any advice appreciated.

Hello,
My Kenwood mixer broke, and now I am looking to purchase a Kitchenaid mixer instead. I have been researching the different Kitchenaid models to find one that can handle making 1 Kg of flour (~1.6 Kg of dough) every other week. It seems like the Artisan models may meet my needs, but I have a few questions to help me decide:
1. Is the model 150ksm still in production?
2. Have the models [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted] replaced the classic 150ksm model?
3. Which Artisan models are available in Israel?
4. Can all Artisan models ([redacted], [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted] ksm) handle processing 1.6 Kg of dough?
5. What are the differences between the Artisan models? Is it just the accessories, or do they also vary in motor power and weight, which could affect their ability to handle heavy dough?
I have tried to gather this information online but have come across conflicting details about motor power ([redacted] or [redacted] watts) and flour/dough capacity (6, 7, 8, or 9 cups; 1.2, 1.6, or 2 Kg).
Thank you for your help!
Best regards,
Shauli

In 2[redacted], I completed a major remodel and selected KitchenAid products, including a fridge, dishwasher, microwave, vent hood, gas stovetop, and double oven, which all complement each other in my beautiful custom cabinets. Unfortunately, my microwave is now malfunctioning – when I press start, nothing happens, and part of the clock is missing. After researching, I found there are very limited repair parts available for this model (KCMS1655BSS0). An appliance repair service I contacted confirmed the difficulty in repairing it due to the lack of available parts. Feeling frustrated, I reached out to Tami at the Greenville, OH factory, seeking assistance after encountering difficulties with the customer service line. Tami assured me she would escalate my issue to her supervisor. Now, I am left wondering if my only option is to dispose of a two-year-old microwave that originally cost $[redacted] at Home Depot. Any guidance would be appreciated.Thank you, Dusty Tharp.
