I recently bought a house equipped with Kwikset locks using the Kevo system. I set up my account, but I encountered issues trying to pair the device as it indicated it was already enrolled. Upon checking my account, I received a notification stating that "you need a KEVO to use this feature." I attempted to disconnect, disable, and even delete my account, but nothing resolved the problem. I tried calling Kwikset's customer support at 1-[redacted] multiple times, but I faced several disconnections.
