As a loyal Astros fan, I typically enjoy watching the games from home due to my disability. Getting around without help is challenging for me, as I walk with a cane or use a walker for short distances. Using a scooter for more extensive activities can be daunting due to my specific needs. During a recent visit to Minute Maid Park while seated in my scooter at the TORCHYS AREA, I encountered distressing situations. The portable elevator malfunctioned, causing me anxiety as the door wouldn't open. My family had to assist me by carrying the scooter downstairs. Unfortunately, on a recent visit on Friday, August 10, [redacted], to the TORCHYS area with my family, I faced a similar issue when the elevator wasn't working. Despite explaining my previous experiences and needs to the staff, I was met with rudeness and disrespect. I was dismayed at being treated unfairly because of my disability, especially when all I needed was some understanding and assistance. My name is Isidor Meza, and I can be reached at [redacted] or [redacted]

My son and I are huge Astros fans, following the team for over 50 years. When my son and grandsons relocated to Kingwood, they joined the Astros Buddies club. Wanting my grandson in San Antonio to join, we signed him up and got tickets for a game on June 26th. I noticed we could upgrade our seats but didn't have my son's ticket details. Calling the Buddies number, I was directed to another number for upgrades. On the game day, I was told at the stadium we could upgrade at the box office, but at Fan Resolutions, we were told otherwise. We ended up split into two sections, which was disappointing for our group of 8. Despite this, we love watching the talented players on the team. I hope this feedback helps improve coordination at future games. Thank you, Bob Johnson.

Dear community members,
I am perplexed by the events that unfolded on Jackie Robinson Day. Despite the significance of the occasion and the spirit of perseverance Robinson embodied, seeing teams walk off the field after months of lockdown feels like a missed opportunity. As a fan since the inception of the Colt 45s, through listening to the commentary of Gene Elston and Loel Passe, my dedication to the Astros has been unwavering. Jackie's dedication to the game in the face of adversity resonates profoundly; I believe he would have chosen to play on such a day. The Astros' decision not to play felt disheartening, and I had hoped for a more fitting tribute to Robinson's legacy. This experience has left me disenchanted with the team.
Sincerely,
Jim Johns from Cypress, TX

I am uncertain if the Astros are affiliated with the Astros store. On October 3rd, I placed an order for an Alex Bregman jersey for my grandson's 15th birthday, which was on October 12th. I was notified on October 5th that my order had shipped. However, when I checked with the carrier on October 10th, they mentioned only a label was printed. I reached out to the store then. On October 11th, the store informed me the package was en route to the carrier but to allow 3 days for processing. Despite the assurances, as of today, October 19th, the jersey has not arrived. The store insists the package is secure, and I will be notified by the carrier. No communication from the carrier has been received. The last update indicated the package was in Arlington, TX. I am quite frustrated with the Astros store's handling of my order. My grandson, an Astros supporter who competes with his Red Sox fan dad, is also disappointed, especially now with the playoffs. Apologies for the venting, but I needed to express my concerns.

I am disappointed in how the team owner is handling Pride week. I now support the Texas Rangers and will stop watching the Astros. Companies should understand the values of the country, but the Astros seem more interested in money. The controversy over the Bud Light backpack giveaway is concerning. We should remember traditional values.
