My daughter received an email from your company (I do not have my own email address) regarding a potential recall of my washing machine. After calling and providing the model and serial numbers, I was assured it was safe. On February 18, [redacted], I had to book an engineer for my machine as I lacked cover. I paid £[redacted].00 upfront for the call-out payment. The engineer arrived on February 24, [redacted], and upon checking with the office, he discovered my machine was added to the recall list. He deactivated it and left a sticker. I was promised a call to discuss a replacement, which never came. After numerous follow-ups, I was informed my machine was not part of the recall, leaving me without a washing machine for 3 weeks. If it's not a recall, I request an engineer to repair it promptly since I've already paid the fee. I've faced poor treatment on this matter and seek confirmation on the resolution within 24 hours. I contacted Hotpot regarding their recall scheme for my faulty Hotpoint dryer. I filled out a form, and they brought me a replacement dryer; however, it was the wrong type. I requested a condenser dryer, not a filter one. This happened about 4 weeks ago, and the delivery driver mentioned they would pick it up, but I'm still waiting for a call. I filled out another form 2 weeks ago and spoke to an advisor from Hotpot yesterday who assured me a call back, which I didn’t receive. I have a job number [redacted] for a new drum to be fitted on my walking machine WMF760PKUR. On the 22nd of June, your engineer called and scheduled the fitting for Tuesday, the 30th of June. We received a text on the 29th confirming the appointment. However, on the morning of the 30th, I received an email stating he would come on Monday, the 6th of July, at 7:15. This is unacceptable as it will be two weeks since the engineer's first visit, and I have a hospital appointment on the 6th of July. Changing the date without confirmation is not acceptable. I am insured via your agent Domestic and General, plan number F[redacted]40. Yesterday, I spent at least three hours trying to reach someone, unsure of the cost on my phone bill. It needs urgent attention.

My fridge/freezer broke on August 6, [redacted]. An engineer is scheduled to come on August 10th due to Covid-19 delays. I had £[redacted] of food spoil, and I couldn't even cook it as the appliance broke overnight. When I tried to contact customer service, I was on hold for over 30 minutes. Despite going to Currys, I couldn't be assisted because of closing time. When I finally spoke to an advisor, they mentioned I could claim for the food as my appliance is under warranty, but I can't find the link to do so. Can someone please direct me to the correct page? How many engineers does it take to repair a washing machine? My washer/dryer, only 16 months old, stopped working over 3 weeks ago, causing a flood in my kitchen that required replacing the floor. After a week's wait, engineer No. 1 diagnosed a faulty motor. It took another week for engineer No. 2 to fit the new motor but found fluff in the filter, despite us cleaning it before the flood. The issue persisted as the drum simply swished side to side. Engineer No. 3, arranged by Currys with just a day's wait, identified a pump problem and replaced it immediately. Sadly, the machine still malfunctioned, flooding more water. Now, I am awaiting further repairs while wondering the number of engineers and parts needed for a working washing machine.

I purchased a frost-free fridge freezer, model number HBNF5517W, which has been in my home for 9 days now. After waiting the advised 4 hours before switching it on, I noticed that either a fan or motor continuously starts up, making a significant amount of noise day and night. The cycle repeats every 20-30 minutes, which is disruptive. I contacted Hotpoint, and they mentioned the option of an engineer visit, with a potential charge of £54.99 if no issue is found. I am seeking clarification if this noise is normal, as others have mentioned their frost-free fridge freezers do not produce such noise. If this noise is typical for this model, I am surprised it was not disclosed in the product information, as I would have reconsidered my purchase, especially since my living room and kitchen share an open plan layout.

I am inquiring if Hotpoint still manufactures the cream Cannon gas cooker model. I need to replace my old one that has developed several issues. My wife and I reside in the Isle of Wight and visited a store, BuyWise, on Wednesday to purchase a new cream Cannon gas cooker, but were informed that they do not offer the cream option. As our current cooker is failing, we had to reluctantly order a white model instead.

In late October, we noticed a strange noise coming from our oven. An engineer came in November and identified the issue, ordering the necessary part. However, after the part was fitted later in November, the noise persisted when my wife used the oven that evening. We had to schedule another appointment, and the engineer who visited on December 8th indicated from his tablet that there were two similar fans in the cooker, deciding to order the part. He mentioned that it might take a few weeks to receive the new fan, and we are concerned as Christmas is approaching, and we rely on the oven during this time.

After three unsuccessful repair visits, I have been struggling to get in touch with Hotpoint Service. Requests for a call back have been ignored or met with unhelpful automated messages. Today, the Live Chat feature is unavailable. My electric oven has been performing poorly, with slow and inaccurate heating, even after replacing the power module. During the last visit, I was concerned about a noisy fan but there wasn't enough time to address it. Shockingly, today the inner screen of the glass door exploded while we were nearby, scattering glass fragments over a large area. I urgently need a prompt response to address this dangerous situation.

I purchased the Hotpoint Aquarius Model No: WMAQL [redacted] washing machine on 23rd March [redacted], and I am upset that it has become very noisy during spinning due to the ball bearings issue. Despite being a loyal Hotpoint customer, I am disappointed with this particular machine. As per the Consumer Rights Act [redacted], products should be of satisfactory quality and durability. According to experts, if large items like washing machines break down before 8 years, they may not meet these standards. My machine is just over 6 years old, and while it is still working, I prefer to have it repaired instead of buying a new one for environmental reasons. Hello, I recently received a Hotpoint refrigerator from my apartment complex dated 5/27/[redacted], marked as new. However, I suspect it's actually old since it's not functioning properly. Despite my concerns, the management insists it's new. The apartment complex is Ashwood Village Apartments. The model number is CHESS845629, and it was accepted on 5/27/21 at either 9:42 a.m. or p.m. I believe this refrigerator is not new as claimed.

I purchased a Hotpoint dryer on December 19, [redacted], with a scheduled delivery for January 5, [redacted], between 10am and 1pm. Despite waiting all day, the dryer never arrived. After contacting the delivery company, I learned that our order did not transfer to the new computer system and had to be rescheduled for January 10, [redacted]. It's frustrating to have to stay home all day due to this error. I wonder if charges would apply if I wasn't home during the delivery. A compensation of £25 per hour of wait time seems fair given the circumstances. I hope for a timely resolution to this issue.

I had a double oven replaced on January 7th by Domestic & General due to a faulty oven causing condensation to drip down onto the floor. Despite multiple visits from engineers and part replacements, the condensation damaged the top of the door and the housing unit. I purchased a Hotpoint washing machine around six weeks ago. Recently, it has been failing to drain the water at the end of the quick wash cycle. I ordered a spare heating element with order no. [redacted][redacted]-01 on 28/10/[redacted], and paid for it. Despite following up with the parts team, I've been informed that the part is out of stock. Originally, I was told the part was with Hermes for delivery, then later was informed DPD would handle it due to issues with Hermes. A new order no. [redacted] was given. After checking today, I was told the part is still awaited. It's been a month since I placed my order, and I'm frustrated as there's no clear delivery date. It's puzzling why the part wasn't moved from Hermes to DPD for delivery. I'm extremely inconvenienced by the delay as I can't use my cooker without the part. I urge Hotpoint to resolve this swiftly.

I purchased a Hotpoint Fridge/Freezer HBD5517W from Curry's on 22.07.[redacted], delivered on 23.07.[redacted], with Serial No. [redacted]64. Roughly a month ago, the right-hand side front of one of the freezer drawers started coming loose from the main part when opened. In the drawer bottom lies a small piece of white plastic where it seems the top plastic 'lug' connecting the drawer to the front broke off. Despite my attempts, I am struggling to get anyone to take responsibility or arrange a repair for this issue concerning a 5-month-old appliance.
