I have some concerns about a user I met on a dating app. We chatted for only two weeks, and he quickly expressed strong feelings for me. He then asked if I would be his girlfriend and requested to chat on Telegram. On Telegram, he explained he needed to locate someone who owed him money and used my UK number to access the dating app to search for this person. However, while using my number, he messaged multiple girls asking for various things. I believe this user should be permanently blocked from the dating app to prevent any issues. His name on the app is Abel, and his Telegram username is @Ehaybel. I also have photos of him that I would like to share.

My account has been frozen for two weeks, and I am still being billed. Despite sending 12 communications to customer support, the issue remains unresolved. On May 3rd, I was prompted to update my account, after which I was locked out of the paid account that was previously functioning well. Attached are screenshots indicating that my account was restricted due to age, a change that occurred unexpectedly despite my consistent use. I am requesting that my account be unlocked, and that my original profile and contacts be reinstated. The associated email is [redacted], phone number [redacted], account name Burke Sennott, linked to Facebook, using an iPhone 6. I kindly ask for the restoration of my account as soon as possible.

My account has been frozen for two weeks, and I am still getting billed. I have sent 12 communications to your customer support, but the issue remains unresolved. I kindly request assistance with this matter. On May 3rd, when I accessed my account, it prompted me to update, but upon doing so, it logged me out of my paid and functional account. I am seeking to have my account unlocked, restored to its original state with all contacts, and for the age restriction matter to be rectified. The email linked to my account is: [redacted] The phone number associated is: [redacted] The account's name is: Burke Sennott It is connected to my Facebook account. I am using an iPhone 6 device. I am frustrated with the scammers who consistently contact me on the site. They all seem to follow a similar storyline - claiming to be widowers in the Marine industry, often located overseas for work, and expressing affection quickly while using terms like "dear." Their written language is also a clear indicator of deception. Despite reporting these individuals when possible, after 14 days off the platform, there is no record of their accounts. I urge the company to improve their screening processes to prevent these scams. My subscription expires in August, and I am currently not planning to renew it.

After signing up, I have noticed that the majority of profiles I am shown on the platform are from Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, and a few other countries. It's quite unusual since I reside in Manhattan. Most of these profiles belong to individuals who claim to be engineers working on oil rigs or for oil companies. Their English proficiency is notably poor, and it's evident that they are fraudulent. They seem unfamiliar with the correct names of cities and neighborhoods they mention, and they often ask suspicious questions signaling a potential scam. Some have even been threatening when I declined to engage. As a writer and lawyer, I have not indicated a preference for individuals from other countries, engineers, or oil industry employees. It's alarming to be inundated with profiles that are almost identical and likely scams. I am seeking assistance from someone more senior at the company and would appreciate a phone call at the earliest convenience to address this distressing and sometimes alarming situation. Hinge's algorithm seems to be matching me with potentially risky individuals without any consideration for a genuine compatibility.

I believe my account was banned on Hinge, although I am uncertain about the reason. Some men on the app made rude comments about my personal choices, and I stood up for myself. It is possible I was too direct in my responses, which may have led to the ban. While I acknowledge my assertiveness, I never resorted to making threats. I realized about a month ago that I was logged out of my Hinge account, but only received notice of the ban today with no prior warning. I wish there had been a warning issued before the ban was enforced. Is it possible for me to create a new account or have my current one reinstated? Arguments can escalate on dating platforms, and not everyone maintains a pleasant demeanor. Some users, including myself, may refrain from reporting individuals who may warrant a ban. I kindly request assistance in recovering my account or establishing a system where users are provided a warning prior to being banned suddenly. Thank you.

Hello Hinge team, I have contacted you multiple times regarding a mistake in my birthdate, which was entered as 11/30/[redacted] instead of 11/30/[redacted]. Despite receiving a response from you, I am still unable to use the app. Please either remove my phone number ([redacted]) from your database so I can start over, or simply correct the birthdate issue. Thank you, Neda

I fell victim to a sophisticated online scam known as the "Underage Girl Dating App Scam." The scam involves individuals posing as a police officer and a father of an alleged underage girl on dating apps. Once they obtain your phone number, they escalate the situation by threatening arrest unless you pay a settlement to the fake father. The specific profile involved in my case was named "Chloe" and claimed to be located in Portland, Maine. I urge others to be cautious and vigilant to avoid falling for this deceitful scheme. Unfortunately, I have deleted the app and my conversations with the profile, but I hope that steps can be taken to prevent others from encountering the same fraudulent activity.

I would like to raise awareness about a user named Greg Voss. He is a 39-year-old man who frequents various dating sites and often does not use his own pictures. He has both real and fake accounts on platforms like Match and Meetville. Greg has a tendency to lure women in by pretending to be romantic and sharing stories about his past relationships to gain sympathy. Once he gains their trust, he convinces them to send photos through different text and burner number apps. Despite having a 16-year-old daughter and a 21-year-old son, he typically targets women between the ages of 18 and 25. This behavior indicates that he may have a problem with sex addiction. It is important to be cautious of him as he manipulates his identity and disappears once his deception is revealed. If you encounter someone matching this description, like the individual known as Gregory Voss, who works at Big Number One Motor Sports in Homewood, Alabama, please be cautious.

Could you please guide me on how to go about finding this? I am willing to provide any necessary information to verify that I am her husband and that we connected on Hinge. Kindly inform me if this request can be accommodated. Thank you!

My name is Francesco. A year ago, I joined Hinge and found it to be the best dating app I've ever used. After going on three dates through the app, I met Juliette Knight and we started dating while still using Hinge. She became upset when she discovered I was still active on the app. Although I explained that I wasn't using it to date, but for casual interactions, she seemed fine with it. However, about a week later, my account was unexpectedly banned. Initially, I didn't consider it could be related to Juliette, but as we are no longer dating, I would like to have my Hinge account reinstated as I have never been disrespectful to anyone on the platform. Thank you for reading.

Good morning, I recently received a message from one of my matches on my Hinge account informing me that my profile wasn't visible even though we are still connected on my end and I haven't received any messages since yesterday. It seems my profile is not visible. My profile name is "Sal" and the email associated with the account matches the one I am using to contact you, [redacted] I created my profile using my phone number and I have the latest version of the Hinge app from the App Store. I've been using this profile for over four months without any issues until yesterday. I would appreciate it if my problem could be investigated and resolved promptly so I can continue communicating with my matches. However, my issue remains unresolved to date.

Hello, I recently joined as a new user and I seem to have made an error during the birthday verification process. I have researched online and found advice to check the settings on the app, but I can't do that as it indicates I am under 18. I attempted to log in using Facebook, but it doesn't redirect to Facebook, instead, it shows the same screen. I was looking forward to using the app, but after inputting the wrong birth date, I got locked out. I am unable to correct the mistake and the Facebook login option is also not functioning. I am feeling really stuck and frustrated. Thank you.

Hello Hinge team, I recently discovered that my account was blocked on the app, though it happened some time ago. Initially, I was unsure why and humorously thought maybe my profile lost its charm! While I understand that you are not obligated to provide specifics on the ban or assist me in reactivating my account, I valued using your service and feel disappointed to no longer have access. I don't believe I breached any terms, but if unknowingly did, I apologize as it was not intentional. I kindly request a review of the ban. Thank you for considering my request. Wishing you all good health in these turbulent times.

I connected with an ex on the app, and our conversation quickly turned negative. I blocked her and reported the harassment to Hinge under the "harassing offline" category. However, my account was unexpectedly deleted by Hinge. When attempting to reach out, I found no phone number available, only an email contact. After emailing them, I was asked to provide my driver's license with my personal information exposed, which I am hesitant to do. I am seeking a way to directly communicate with a Hinge representative to address the harassment issue I faced before my account was deleted.
