Dear Sir or Madam, I would like to bring to your attention an issue regarding a rental car booking. We had reserved a rental car from December 31st, [redacted], to January 2nd, [redacted], through Travel Reservation US. I made a payment of [redacted].64€ to Travel Reservation US on December 29th, and an additional payment of 76.29€ directly to Hertz on January 2nd. Upon our arrival on the 31st at noon, there was no one at the Hertz counter, and we had to wait until the next day to obtain the rental car. As compensation for the inconvenience, Travel Reservations US issued a refund of 28.26€. However, in May, I noticed that Hertz attempted to charge me 54.04€ without any explanation or notification. I had settled all payments at the time of rental and did not receive any subsequent communication regarding additional charges. My name is Sabrina Reger, and the reference number is [redacted].

I had an extremely disappointing experience at the Hertz in Matteson, IL. My online reservation for an "EV-electric vehicle" was not honored upon arrival. The employees at the counter, a female and a male, were unhelpful and condescending. They claimed they didn't have the manager's special and were disrespectful when addressing me about updating my Hertz account, despite my account being up to date with an email confirmation. When I requested the general manager's contact information, they refused to provide it. I left without a vehicle and feeling disrespected. This level of customer service is unacceptable, and I urge others to speak up about similar experiences until improvements are made. Alicia's behavior is unprofessional, and she should not be in a managerial position. The general manager should reconsider her role at the company.

While in Ireland, we rented a [redacted] Dacia Duster from Dublin Airport Hertz. Today, a "Check Start/Stop" message, accompanied by a red Engine Start Stop Symbol (A in a circle), appeared on the vehicle panel. We are unsure of the message's significance or how critical it may be. After trying to contact Dublin Hertz without success, we are concerned about the car's safety and drivability. We are currently staying on the Western side of the country, more than 3 hours away from Dublin. We would appreciate guidance on whether it is safe to continue driving the car or if we should take other measures to address this issue.

During our family trip to France, we rented a car from Hertz at 27 rue St Ferdinand - Porte Maillot, Paris. I encountered inefficiency and rudeness from the receptionist, resulting in a delay of nearly two hours to obtain the car. This unfortunate incident disrupted our plans and wasted valuable time. I sought assistance with wifi but was left unaided. I am seeking a refund of $[redacted].73, which includes extra insurance costs of [redacted] euros, due to the unsatisfactory service. Despite agreeing to the insurance to expedite the process, the overall experience was upsetting and impacted our trip negatively. I'm inquiring if you have received the following details correctly: - We plan to have the car in Sweden for 7 days. Could you please clarify if there are any associated fees, and if so, what the amount would be? - We will be driving across the Oresund bridge twice, from Sweden to Denmark and back. Does Hertz provide an option to prepay for the toll? - Additionally, we require an infant car seat for our 10-month-old child. Can you ensure it will be available on the pickup date? I received an electric vehicle instead of the one I reserved, and it was not specified in my reservation. There is limited charging infrastructure in the city I am in, and the charge won't last for my journey despite being assured by the agent. They had no other vehicles at the pickup location. I would like to inquire about exchanging the electric vehicle for a non-electric one at the airport today.

I returned the car early on June 10, [redacted]. However, I received a bill for the period of June 6, [redacted], to June 13, [redacted]. I have been trying to get a corrected billing receipt but have had no success via phone with customer service. There was a lot of background noise during the call, making it difficult to hear the representative's responses clearly. I requested to speak to a supervisor to have the issue fixed today for reimbursement of the vehicle charges. The representative gave me a disconnected number when I asked for a supervisor. I called the number while keeping the representative on the line, but it was the same disconnected line. Then, the representative claimed she couldn't hear me and kept saying so before disconnecting the call. It has been impossible to reach a resolution in this situation.

I bought a car with cash; however, there is still a lien on it. Hertz needs to sign the lien release sent by Enterprise for the title to be processed. Despite my purchase on 12/22, I do not have the title because of this unresolved lien. According to Nevada DMV regulations, I should receive the title within 30 days of buying the vehicle. I am seeking guidance on the steps to resolve this issue promptly.

While driving, I accidentally hit a kerb causing a bubble on the front passenger tyre. I tried reaching out to Hertz over the phone without success. I contacted the VIP agent who organized my rental, and they authorized me to replace the tyre. I ended up changing both front tyres to match. I have a receipt for this repair. I am flying back to the UK on Thursday morning for an early flight, but the rental office doesn't open until 7:30 AM, and I need to be at the airport by 7 AM. I plan to leave the receipt with the keys. Can I request a refund for the tyre replacement since I have additional insurance with Hertz?

I am unsure if you are the correct contact for this inquiry, if not, I apologize. Today, I noticed a $76 charge from Hertz on my account, potentially for an additional day of rental. I returned the vehicle within the day cycle. Moreover, there was a complication at the start of my rental where the car from Latham broke down, leading to me picking up a vehicle from the Schenectady location. Despite this, I returned the car to Latham as per my original contract. Hertz appears unaware of the charge's origin, and I too am confused as I returned the car on time with a full tank of gas. I am seeking clarification on this charge and a potential refund. If it pertains to toll fees, kindly indicate this on my receipt as I did not notice it. I had rented a car with Thrifty, which it seems is associated with Hertz, and I am struggling to reach someone higher up than the call center. They charged me for adding a second driver, my husband (84 years old). When I went to pick up the car in Orlando at 1 am, they didn't have any cars available. I requested if my husband could drive in case of an emergency like needing medical assistance, as we had done with Alamo without issues for years. Despite my husband not speaking English, the young man at the counter eventually added him as a driver. However, we never received any rental paperwork, and later discovered they had charged us $[redacted].72 for the additional driver without proper consent. They have now sent the papers via email, but there are doubts about the signature authenticity. This whole situation feels like cheating to us. I am unable to access my Gold account and need assistance resetting it. I have been a loyal Gold customer for almost 40 years, and I am frustrated by the lack of support from human representatives. It is disheartening that reaching a live person is so difficult. I had a disappointing experience with a call center representative last Saturday who was unhelpful. I would appreciate speaking with a representative based in the US to address my concerns. If this issue persists, I may consider taking my business elsewhere.

I need to update my first name on an upcoming Hertz rental from my Go-By name (Alex) to my driver's license name (Alexander) and associate my rental with my new Gold Star Plus membership. I have tried calling Hertz at [redacted] but haven't been able to reach a representative. If this is something I can take care of at the rental counter, that's fine. I just don't want to wait until I'm there and risk not being able to make the change. I'm making these changes because having a Gold Star membership allows my wife to drive the car as well, without an additional charge. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Upon arriving at Hertz Barclays Center in Brooklyn at 8:30 a.m. on a Sunday, I encountered delays as the employee arrived late at 9:15 a.m., resulting in only one attendant working. I was charged an additional $[redacted]+. The charges included $[redacted] for a transfer vehicle fee even though no vehicle transfer occurred, and the employee mistakenly charged me twice for a vehicle due to difficulty in processing. The charges for the transfer exchange fuel and service totaled $[redacted].60. Another $[redacted] was added to my rental rate, going from $[redacted].99 per day to $[redacted].99 per day, totaling $[redacted] more than my original quote of $[redacted].88. The attendant failed to rectify the errors promptly, and the car provided had only a quarter tank of gas despite being represented as 8/8 full. The delays and overcharges caused significant inconvenience, taking over an hour to get the car. I am requesting a refund of $[redacted] for the incorrect charges on the transfer exchange and rental rate, as well as a refund for the misrepresented gas level.

I rented a vehicle from Atlanta airport, but due to a family emergency with my daughter in the ER and my mom having emergency surgery, I had to drive back to NJ instead of flying. Now that I am trying to return the car in NJ, they are asking for an additional $[redacted]. It seems unreasonable that I have to drive the car all the way back to Atlanta just to avoid this charge, especially considering the extra miles and time it will take. During the trip, I even had to change a flat tire on my own as the emergency roadside assistance did not arrive after waiting for 3 hours.

I recently upgraded to a gold membership and made an online reservation, paying with my credit card instead of my debit card. I am curious about whether I will be able to pick up the rental car as I had a DUI more than 3 years ago. My driver's license is current, and I have a non-owner car insurance policy with an FR44. When I completed the registration and reservation, I provided my ID details. I want to confirm if I will have any issues picking up the rental so that I can make alternative plans if needed.

We huurden een auto bij Hertz in Alicante en hadden een automaat gevraagd, maar kregen een Jeep wat ons nerveus maakte om te rijden. We hebben de auto omgeruild voor een handgeschakelde Opel Corsa van 1/8 tot 12/8, wat goedkoper was, maar we hebben het prijsverschil niet teruggekregen. I had a reservation booked for 2 AM in Fort Lauderdale last night, but my flight got canceled. After rebooking and attempting to extend the rental due to the cancellation, I was informed I couldn't. Now my new flight won't arrive until after the rental has passed the 24-hour mark. I've tried contacting Fort Lauderdale airport multiple times without much luck. I only managed to speak to someone once, but they weren't helpful. I'm hoping to resolve this before my upcoming flight and even just adding another driver would be a good start to being able to use the vehicle. It would be ideal to pick up the vehicle when our flight lands, but adding a driver would suffice for now.

Hello, Dear Sir or Madam, I rented a car from your company on the 19th of August [redacted]. I returned the car on the same day in the evening. The deposit was paid with a credit card, and the rental price was paid in advance. I am now wondering when I will receive the deposit back. I was told over the phone that it was [redacted]€, but there seems to be more money held on the credit card than what was mentioned, which has left me disappointed. I would like the refund promptly, preferably today. Furthermore, I was initially quoted [redacted] euros at the rental station in the morning of the pick-up, but then it turned out to be [redacted] euros. I rented a car from Hertz through AAA to benefit from their Credit Card discount. Upon applying and being approved for the card, I attempted to use it for the rental but your system declined the payment citing an expiration date issue. Despite verifying the details multiple times, the transaction wouldn't go through. Both AAA and the Credit Card company confirmed the problem lies with your system. I had to resort to using a different card without receiving the discount. I attempted to contact your office last night, but it was closed. I am eager to speak with a representative to ensure I receive the discount I was initially promised.
