A few weeks ago, when I contacted about a T-Mobile subscription offer, I mistakenly mentioned Woman's Day instead of Woman's Health. I called back on the same day to correct it back to Woman's Health since I already had a subscription and wanted to continue it. The representative assured me that they fixed it, but I received Woman's Day recently instead of Woman's Health. Additionally, we confirmed that I never received an issue of the Airbnb subscription due to an address change. I've been waiting for months for the magazine, and after updating my address, I was told I would receive it along with a 6-month extension. However, I haven't received it yet. I thought it would arrive when the other magazine did because your company publishes both of them. Thank you, Kim Riccardi, [redacted] Renaissance Commons Blvd, Apt [redacted], Boynton Beach, FL [redacted].

I have sent two emails regarding the same issue. On May 26, [redacted], at 5:26 AM your time, I never authorized a subscription to House Beautiful. It appeared in my mailbox alongside my other magazines without prior agreement. I have no interest in that magazine style and have been a loyal customer for years without issue. I will no longer subscribe or purchase your magazines due to this aggressive demand for payment on a magazine I did not request. I have not ordered or agreed to receive House Beautiful, so I am frustrated by the demand to pay. I have forwarded your threatening email to the BBB and the Washington State Attorney General's Office. It is not about the money but the principle of not owing for a subscription I never requested. Kindly rectify this. Thank you.

I have been facing an issue with receiving my subscriptions for Town & Country (A/C # TOC[redacted]/7), Elle Décor (A/C # EDC[redacted]/6), and Veranda Instyle magazines for nearly a year now, even though my account is up to date. Despite contacting the mail service and adjusting my delivery address back in February, the problem persists, and I have yet to receive any magazines. I am reaching out once again to request assistance in resolving this matter promptly.

I unknowingly signed up for multiple magazine mailing lists that flood my inbox with unwanted spam. I am requesting to be removed from all mailing lists associated with Hearst properties. After unsubscribing from one publication, I continue to receive spam from new magazines, all from Hearst. The complexity of your customer service process is frustrating. The constant influx of spam feels more like harassment than marketing. Kindly remove me from all Hearst marketing email lists. When I contacted customer service, I was only able to unsubscribe from a single magazine and not all. I am adamant about wanting to be unsubscribed from any Hearst-related subscriptions.

I am having issues with my bill. I have been charged $78 for a Veranda subscription that I did not agree to. I am a longtime subscriber to many Hearst magazines and usually appreciate your special offers, but this charge is not one of them. I have tried to contact you by phone but couldn't find your [redacted] number. It was frustrating to send this message as I am not very computer savvy and it took me over an hour. Could you please call me at 1-[redacted]? I know there is a special offer at $10, so I don't understand why I was charged $78. I subscribe to Harper's, ELLE, House Beautiful, Country Living, and more, and I want to continue buying your magazines at favorable rates. Thank you! Diane Champagne, acc #[redacted].

Hello, my name is Kelley Ford. I received a gift subscription to Food Network magazine in [redacted] through Groupon and enjoyed it. However, I have been receiving numerous renewal notices in my mailbox for years, along with an email stating I owe $9. I have not renewed the subscription and do not wish to continue receiving the magazine. Despite returning the notices with a request to cancel, I am still getting them. I kindly request that my name and email be removed from your contact lists. I do not want to purchase any further publications. Thank you for your assistance. Feel free to email me with any questions or information. Thank you, Kelley Ford.

Subject: Magazine Subscription Cancellation
Dear [redacted],
I am writing to formally request the immediate cancellation of my magazine subscriptions. Despite numerous attempts to unsubscribe, I am still receiving notifications of pending bill payments. I want to clarify that I will not be making any payments for these subscriptions.
The process to unsubscribe has been unnecessarily challenging, and I feel like I am being harassed to pay for services I no longer wish to receive. Many individuals, including myself, have faced similar issues. However, I am adamant about not succumbing to this pressure.
Please cease any further magazine deliveries and remove me from all subscription lists promptly. Failure to do so will result in me escalating this matter to the Better Business Bureau.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Phillis Mitchell

Dear Forum Members,
I am concerned about the unexpected charges my husband incurred from a magazine subscription. I canceled the subscription once, thinking the cost was related to management fees, but to my surprise, I realized we had been charged $9.97 per issue for 7 months. I believe I may have unknowingly signed up for a discounted rate that wasn't clear at the time. This has been ongoing since last November, with the latest charge showing up on his credit card instead of mine, marked Oct. 18. I have contacted my bank to dispute the charge, and I am puzzled by this situation as a longtime customer of Hearst magazines. If this charge reappears, I will dispute it again. Has anyone else experienced such high fees for a magazine subscription?
Thank you for any insights or advice you can provide.
Best,
L.F.

Hello, I am Kimberly Sonnon. I received an email regarding a Food Network subscription that would charge $12 yearly to my credit card. I reside at [redacted] S. Shamokin St, Shamokin PA [redacted], and you can reach me at [redacted] or [redacted] or [redacted]. I visited the website thinking it was a free subscription but stopped entering my card details once I discovered it was not. I did not authorize any charges and do not wish to continue with the subscription. Kindly cancel it immediately. I do not have an account number yet, as it will be on the first issue's label. I trust that with my name, address, and email, you can locate my subscription and proceed with the cancellation.

I received an email about a print subscription order which I did not place. I want this HGTV subscription canceled immediately. Please confirm when it's sorted out. I trust that this issue will be resolved by Hearst Magazines. If not, I will take further action. Remove my email from your list and do not bill me. It's difficult to reach you without an account number which I don't have. I did not order this magazine and do not want it.

I recently received an email regarding a print subscription order for HGTV that I did not authorize. The order was placed under the name Jeannette Toce. The email stated the subscription amount was $19.99 for a 1-year term. I request that this subscription be canceled promptly. I am looking for a confirmation once this issue is resolved. I trust that Hearst Magazines will rectify this and provide a resolution. Failure to cancel this order will result in me reporting this matter to the Attorney General and the BBB for fraudulent activity. Please remove my email address from your mailing list immediately. I also find it challenging to contact your customer service without an account number that I never received since I did not order this magazine. I want to emphasize that I do not want this subscription. Thank you.

Subject: Issue with Magazine Subscription and Credit
Hello,
Approximately a year ago, I noticed a recurring credit of about $60 on my statements. Despite trying to reach out to you for a refund, my attempts were unsuccessful. As a result, I placed an order for two magazines (two years of Good Housekeeping and two years of Woman's Day) using the credit on the same statement. I specifically indicated for the credit to be applied to these magazines, which would have left me with a balance of roughly $45.
Despite my efforts to communicate this, I keep receiving past due notifications from your billing company. I have responded to emails confirming my intention to use the credit, but unfortunately, I have not received any acknowledgment.
The subscription is under the name Mrs. R Kenan, with payment reference #[redacted]4.
I tried contacting you by phone, waiting for five minutes before having to disconnect. This experience has been incredibly frustrating, especially as someone working in customer service. I kindly request to cancel my subscriptions and have the remaining credit refunded.
Your prompt attention to this matter would be highly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Cheryl Kenan (representing Mrs. R Kenan)

I am requesting the cancellation of this subscription and not to be charged for it. The delivery address listed is 10 Pippen Place, New City, NY 10[redacted]. If there are any inaccuracies or if I need to reach customer service, I am instructed to wait a week for my order to be processed and to allow 4-6 weeks for the first issue to be delivered.

About one or two months ago, I canceled my subscription to HGTV Magazine before any issues were sent. Despite this, the publisher has still sent me an invoice and is insisting on the subscription. I want to be extremely clear that I do not wish to receive any magazines or subscriptions. My account number is [redacted], and I am Gloria H. residing at [redacted] Golden Rain Tree Blvd, Orlando, FL [redacted]. I do not want to receive any further invoices or magazines from you. The tactics employed by Hearst Magazine to coerce individuals into purchasing their products are poor and leave customers feeling frustrated and uninterested in future purchases. This approach is a manipulation targeting individuals who enter sweepstakes. I want nothing to do with your company.

I have not received the subscriptions I purchased via Groupon. When I try to access the Voucher #, it disappears. This is the sixth time reporting this issue. The Voucher # for "Pain-Free Living" magazine is X2YWYGWCLVHW42K. I am unable to provide the Voucher # for "O" magazine currently. I request one of the following resolutions: 1) refund my payment 2) send the original subscriptions 3) allow me to select two different magazines. I would prefer to receive the items I ordered. To contact me, please email me at [redacted] Thank you for your assistance. I will provide proof of payment and Voucher numbers upon receiving an email from you.

I am subscribed to O Magazine and Esquire Magazine, but have not received any issues for over three months. Despite contacting Customer Service, they insist the magazines were dispatched. I suspect there may be an issue with the delivery to my post office in Santa Barbara, CA (Zip Code: [redacted]). The San Roque Post Office acknowledged similar complaints from customers about undelivered magazines. I seek assistance to investigate any disruptions in magazine shipments to this specific post office. I value these subscriptions, especially my Esquire Magazine subscription paid through [redacted], and would like to either receive the magazines promptly or receive a refund. On June 7, [redacted], I accepted an offer to subscribe to HGTV for a year at a discounted price of $21. Additionally, for an extra $5, I agreed to subscribe to House Beautiful. I sent a $26 cheque, which was cashed by Hearst on July 10, [redacted]. Despite multiple letters and emails stating I owe $21, I have explained that I do not owe anything. I have asked for a response but have received only more harassing communications. I have even offered to cancel the subscription and get a refund with no action taken. I planned to write a letter of complaint to the Hearst President before finding this forum. I hope for a resolution as I like the magazines but will not subscribe again without a resolution.
Best regards,
Linda B.

I recently received an email from LG Electronics regarding a contest to win an LG OLED TV. I entered the contest without agreeing to purchase any subscription to House Beautiful Magazine. The subscription was under the name Terry Hicks with the delivery address as [redacted] Julie Ct, Winchester, VA 22[redacted]. I tried to cancel the subscription through their customer service site but was not recognized. I want to emphasize that I do not want the magazine and do not intend to pay for it. LG and Hearst's business practices seem deceitful to me.
