My RattanPatio chair recently broke. The part where you sit on it, the bolt/screw has rusted out. I acquired two chairs with cushions from Home Depot approximately three years ago, which are typically stored in the garage during the winter and fall. Interestingly, I had previously purchased Martha Stewart rattan chairs from Home Depot around eight years ago for my sister and brother-in-law, which are still in impeccable condition. Considering this, I am seeking a replacement for the broken chair. Best regards, T. Oliver

Hello, I was gifted a Hampton Bay instant gazebo recently. However, upon opening it, I discovered that the frames were missing, despite the box indicating they should be included. I contacted Home Depot, who advised me to reach out to the company directly. I am in need of the missing frames and tools to set up the gazebo properly. Can Hampton Bay please assist me in sending these missing parts? Thank you.

I recently purchased a 3-piece brown wicker deck set with tan cushions from Home Depot yesterday and placed it on my newly built deck. After leaving for just an hour to get a grill from the store, I returned to find that the sun had severely scorched one of the chair cushions. This could have been a serious fire hazard if I had been away longer. I am disappointed with the quality of this Hampton Bay product as deck furniture should be able to withstand sun exposure. I have a picture of the damaged cushion available upon request. While I could get a replacement cushion, it doesn't address the issue at hand. The set cost me $[redacted], and I believe I deserve a refund. I eagerly await a prompt response regarding this matter. Thank you.

Roughly a month ago, while spending time in my yard, there was a sudden loud noise. To my surprise, I discovered that my patio table had exploded, creating a mess of tiny glass pieces. Unfortunately, my laptop, book, and glass were casualties of the incident, with glass covering the book, the glass shattering, and my laptop screen getting scratched. I reached out to Hampton Bays and spoke with Brian, who explained that they no longer carried the glass for my table and suggested contacting Home Depot. After contacting Home Depot, the manager seemed uncertain about the next steps and mentioned discussing the issue with Brian. Despite several attempts and follow-ups, I have yet to receive a practical solution or replacement table. It has been frustrating to be continuously redirected and put on hold without any resolution in sight, leading to the disruption of my outdoor space. I hope to resolve this matter soon to address the damages and regain the use of my patio area.

I placed an order for a patio dining set from Home Depot on April 24, [redacted]. Initially, the delivery was scheduled for the beginning of June, but I was informed that it was still out of stock. I visited a Home Depot store on June 23 and saw a set purchased there, but the staff explained that online and in-store stock are separate. They mentioned a previous shipment on May 7 had sold out, and they were unsure about the next delivery. Another store confirmed that there may not be more shipments this year. I am seeking clarification on whether I can expect to receive the set before July. If not, I am considering canceling my order and exploring other sellers.

I needed to replace my landscaping lights. I purchased 5 boxes of product # [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] for a little over $[redacted] in total. When I attempted to install them, I realized I needed an additional box, bringing the total to almost $[redacted]. However, I was disappointed by the poor quality of the product. Initially, I appreciated the quick disconnect feature, but soon discovered that every other light was breaking in half. Some lights didn't even work, requiring me to return them to Home Depot for replacements. When I returned to the store, I was instructed to select another box from the shelf for replacements. Despite encountering some boxes that were completely shattered, I eventually received my replacements. Due to the product's subpar quality and the inconvenience I have faced, I am requesting a partial refund. Thank you for your attention to this matter. - Kelly Howes

The fan motor is malfunctioning, running at reduced speed or not at all. The motor is overheating, affecting its performance. I replaced the wall switch supplying power, but the issue persists. Seeking guidance for warranty replacement as the unit was installed in a new home 14 years ago without receipts. Looking for straightforward advice on how to proceed for a replacement. Hoping for a genuine response after previous unsatisfactory experiences with warranty coverage.

I bought the Hampton Bay 11ft light bar offset solar patio umbrella in tan from Home Depot around four weeks ago. The model is UXM05205A, and the store SKU is [redacted]. There's a round knob meant to secure the umbrella in place, but it's not tightening sufficiently. Consequently, the umbrella keeps sliding from horizontal to vertical nearly every day. I would appreciate guidance on how to address this concern. Despite the issue, we are quite fond of the umbrella. Thank you for your assistance. - Rosemary Upfold

Hello, I wanted to bring to your attention a potential fire risk with Hampton Bay ceiling fans. I purchased a fan of the model "The Landmark" around November [redacted], and it has been working fine until recently. I installed five of these fans in my house at the same time, and all were operating without any problems until one of the fan's light kits stopped working recently, accompanied by a loud popping sound when I tried to switch on the light. Upon inspection, the light kit seemed fine, but I suspect the issue might be related to a faulty wattage regulator box module, which is a known problem. I have since replaced that fan with a new one. In another room, another fan of the same model emitted an ozone-like smell for about a week before the light kit also stopped functioning, with a similar popping noise and a strong smell of burning plastic/ozone. Upon disassembly, I discovered a burnt wire with charred marks on other wiring components. I have pictures for reference. This situation is worrying, especially since I still have three of these fans installed. I would appreciate it if you could investigate this matter further. Please get in touch via email. Thank you, Jason S. [redacted]

I am experiencing issues with my Hampton Bay 68” ceiling fan. I purchased this fan in October [redacted] from Home Depot in Kohler, WI. Since July [redacted], the fan works intermittently despite replacing the remote battery and capacitor. After contacting Hampton Bay Customer Service and receiving a new capacitor, the issue persists. The fan runs for a short period, then stops, accompanied by a groaning noise. The low speed setting seems to work consistently, but the fan occasionally emits a faint groan. Despite liking the fan's appearance in my 4-seasons room, I am troubled by the recent malfunctions. I seek advice on resolving this problem to enjoy uninterrupted fan operation again after 12 years of trouble-free service.

I purchased a 10 x 20 Hampton Bay Gazebo approximately 60 days ago. Recently, the front collapsed inward, leaving two pieces bent. Despite my son and husband dismantling it, our claim was denied. This decision seems unjustified as similar gazebos in the neighborhood remain intact, including my neighbor's 10 x 10 version and another neighbor's gazebo within [redacted] feet of mine. I had replaced a mangled 10 x 20 gazebo from [redacted], damaged in a previous storm, so I'm disheartened that my [redacted] claim was rejected. Our gazebo was assembled correctly, given our experience as builders. Despite mild weather conditions with winds under 10 mph and light showers, our gazebo collapsed. It feels unfair compared to other undamaged structures nearby. I possess images of the bent pieces for reference. Thank you, Valerie S.

I recently purchased a Hampton Bay vertical blind for my patio door at Home Depot Canada and unfortunately lost one of the top carrier gears. I managed to temporarily fix it by using a part from another section, but I would like to properly repair it. I am in need of the gear that measures approximately 1/4 by 1/2 inches and less than 1/8 inch thick. I would also consider purchasing additional gears and clips for spares. I hope you have the necessary part available as returning the whole blind to the store seems wasteful, especially for such a small component. This issue was addressed at the Strawberry Hills store in Surrey, BC, where I made the original purchase. Thank you for your assistance. - Loretta

I recently purchased 2 sets of Hampton Bay Commercial Grade 48-Foot Plug-in LED String Lights from Home Depot for my outdoor patio. Initially, they looked great and worked well. However, after it rained, I noticed that the bulbs filled with water and did not drain, even after being left in the sun. Since I no longer have the original packaging, I am unable to return them to the store. I am concerned for my safety and disappointed that they are not holding up as advertised for outdoor use. I am requesting a replacement or a refund for each set, as they were $49.95 each. I can provide photo evidence showing the water collected in the bulbs.

I have a small suggestion regarding the Hampton Bay heat lamp, item #[redacted], Model #HD10. The instructions were clear until Step 9, which caused confusion. In Step 9, two parts (a pin and cotter pin) labeled #1 and #2 were shown, but it was not mentioned that they were already attached to the lamp. This led to unnecessary confusion, and I even went back to the store for replacements. It would be helpful if the instructions indicated that parts #1 and #2 are pre-attached rather than separate pieces listed in the diagram. On a positive note, the product is well-made. I appreciate the chance to provide feedback. Additionally, I hope that Home Depot supports initiatives that benefit the common good rather than individual interests. As a preference, my household tries to support Lowes or Home Depot over Amazon whenever possible.

I recently purchased a Flag Light at Home Depot #[redacted] in Pontiac, Michigan, and I'm thrilled about the product. I was dreading a complicated setup with a transformer, but this seems straightforward. I could use some guidance with a few queries I have regarding the product: 1. Can I position the solar panel close to a quartz work lamp to speed up the charging process? 2. What is the ideal distance and duration for charging the panel? 3. Is it possible to enhance the lighting on the flag by installing two flag lights on opposite sides with two solar panels? The flag measures 3 X 5 feet and is mounted on a column facing south, with a five-foot aluminum pole. I reside in Bloomfield Hills, MI, where snow accumulation on the solar panel is minimal. I appreciate your assistance with these questions. Thank you.

I wanted to share my experience with the Flag Light I purchased from Home Depot. First, I prepared the area and exposed the solar panel to light before mounting it on the pole. It is important to install the light on a flag pole, not a wooden column, for the best performance. Use the shorter bolts provided to secure the light and solar unit for a neater look. Ensure that the bolts fit into the bracket indentation correctly. After exposing the solar panel to sunlight for 12 hours, I switched the light on at dusk, and it worked perfectly. Position the light facing the flag about 8 inches below the bottom edge, and angle the solar panel to face the sun. The kit from Hampton Bay for about $20 had everything needed for installation. I hope these tips help someone else with their installation process.

I attempted to replace the light bulb on my Sunwind 52-inch ceiling fan model [redacted], but the globe got stuck and broke during the process. After spending 4 to 5 hours trying to remove the bulb, I had to disassemble the fan. Unfortunately, the product did not meet my expectations due to this issue and the obscured model number. Frustrated by the experience and concerned about the safety of the twisted wires, I am now seeking a refund. When I tried to purchase a replacement bulb at a local Home Depot, I was informed they couldn't assist me due to the fan's unique design. It seems there may be a faulty component as the globe is difficult to remove. I will provide pictures to illustrate the situation and anticipate the need to buy a new bulb and hire an electrician for the installation. This has been a cumbersome process for a simple task, and I hope for a resolution promptly. -Diane B. [redacted] Langdon Lane North Royalton, OH [redacted] Email: [redacted]

I purchased a Hampton Bay patio set from Home Depot in March [redacted] and recently noticed severe burn marks on the cushions. The material seems to have melted due to exposure to heat, making it unsuitable for outdoor use. I no longer have the receipt, but I can provide the REG NO. PA-[redacted](CN). The material became so hot that it burned our skin when touched, posing a fire hazard. I am concerned about the safety risks and the fact that the cushions are now unusable after less than a year. I have pictures of the damage and can send them if needed. Please advise on how to address this issue. - M.B.

I own two Hampton Bay Palm Beach 48" outdoor ceiling fans with SKU [redacted] [redacted] on my back patio. Unfortunately, the motor on one of them has stopped working. The light kit on both fans still works, but the fan itself doesn't. I have the original box and shipping information. I noticed there is a lifetime motor warranty for these fans. Can you please guide me on how to proceed with making a warranty claim for the faulty fan? Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Dwain & Sue T.

I am inquiring about your tabletop propane fire pit under item number [redacted] [redacted] [redacted]. The image on the box depicts it placed on a glass table without a large adapter sticking out from the bottom. I have been unable to find a suitable table for this setup despite my efforts. I seek your assistance in suggesting a compatible table or organizing a refund. While the purchase was made approximately a year ago, we are only now attempting to assemble it. I am looking for guidance on finding a square, round, or coffee table that the fire pit can be placed on, as traditional tables with umbrella holes do not accommodate the needed 3 1/2-inch adapter. Upon reviewing the item and packaging, I question if the image is accurate in its representation. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards, T.R. Email: [redacted]
