I experienced a catastrophic failure with my Hampton Bay Statesville swivel chair while assembling it. The swivel base broke at the top where the three tubes connect to the swivel point. Two of the tubes detached, causing me to fall to the floor while seated. This 5-piece set is less than a year old, and I am seeking a replacement base to restore the set.

As seasonal campers, my family and I had longed for a gazebo at our campsite for years. Finally, with a move to a new site, my thoughtful husband surprised me with the purchase of a 10x12 Verano gazebo from Home Depot. After meticulously following the setup instructions and securing it with the provided stakes, our gazebo sadly ended up on its side after just over a week. Despite being anchored, the feet seemed to have failed, leading to the unit twisting and breaking. Disheartened by Home Depot's inability to assist, I am reaching out to seek help in exchanging the damaged gazebo for a new one. We have always trusted Hampton Bay for quality outdoor products, and I believe this situation can be resolved positively. My husband's investment in this gazebo was meant for years of enjoyment, and I hope for a solution to continue our loyalty to the brand.

I purchased the Hampton Bay Oak Cliff 7 Piece Metal Outdoor Dining Set with Chili Cushions and the Hampton Bay Oak Cliff 3 Piece Metal Outdoor Balcony Height Bistro Set with Chili Cushions in May [redacted] from Home Depot. Shortly after, I had to return it due to relentless rust leaking from the new chairs. Bringing out the set for the second summer, I noticed substantial rust on the chairs and bubbling/chipping on the tables. This sets a disappointing tone as we have been loyal Hampton Bay customers for years. The quality of our recent purchase has left us utterly dissatisfied considering the amount spent. I can provide images for reference. Please contact me to address this matter. Thank you.

Living in the mountains, on 6/24/15, I purchased a 12' x 12' Harbor Gazebo, model #GFS01250A for my deck. I am a big fan of it. Every year before winter, I remove the cover due to the snow. During spring or summer, depending on the weather, I put it back on. Last year, due to strong wind, I replaced the torn cover. Just a month ago, with the temperature hitting 70 degrees, I put the cover on for the summer. Unfortunately, while I was away, there was an unexpected heavy snow and rain storm, causing the cover to collapse the top framework. The corner posts are intact but the top part is beyond repair. This has left me quite distressed, especially given my age of 70 and fixed income. I am hoping for a potential discount on a new gazebo or inquiring if replacement parts for the top framework are available. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Last night at 3 am, my ceiling fan fell from the ceiling. It appears that the bracket holding the unit broke off. I have pictures of the broken middle section and the remaining part of the bracket still attached to the ceiling for future inspection if necessary. Thank goodness it happened at night when my wife and kids were sleeping. I was at work at the time. My wife, who is 8 months pregnant, and our 3 and 2-year-old children were frightened by the noise. I rushed home not knowing what she was talking about. She thought someone was in the house and locked herself in the bedroom with the kids. We purchased the fan brand new from Home Depot about three years ago and rarely used it. It was placed in the living room hallway towards the dining room. I am not asking for a replacement, but I wanted to inform whoever reads this email that there may be an issue with the wall bracket. I have never seen a bracket break like this before. Thank you.

I have (2) concerns:
#1) I own (2) Hampton Bay Ceiling Fans, model NO. [redacted], with UPC #[redacted]03 and 5 BLUE Colored Blades. I am looking to purchase another (1) of the same model, but I cannot find any products with those specific ID numbers.
#2) I also have a different Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan, model NO. [redacted], UPC #[redacted]85, with 5 Blades. I am aware that Hampton Bay Fans come with a Lifetime Warranty on the motors. However, the motor in this fan seems to be malfunctioning as it struggles to turn the blades and makes a humming noise as if it's attempting to work. It can only turn the blades a small amount, indicating a loss of power. To prevent overheating or a potential fire hazard, I have turned it off. How can I have the motor repaired or replaced under the Lifetime Warranty policy? I do not have any receipts, but I believe a Lifetime Warranty should not require one.

I recently replaced the ZING EAR ZE-208D speed control switch on my Hampton Bay AC-[redacted] BB YL ceiling fan (UPC#[redacted]40). I didn't label the wires from the capacitor to the switch. The wire colors on the switch are black, brown, gray, and purple. I need guidance on which color wire connects to each terminal on the back of the switch, marked as L, 1, 2, and 3. Your help on this matter would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

I ordered the Hampton Bay Beacon Park 5-piece gray wicker patio set on June 18. Home Depot claimed it was delivered, but due to a trucking mix-up and missing paperwork, it got sent back to the warehouse. After a back-order wait, they offered me a brown wicker set with tan cushions at a discount. To my surprise, when it arrived, the ottoman didn't match. Home Depot said the correct ottoman is on back order. Despite this, I chose to keep the other pieces as I wasn't confident they would send me a full matching set. They did offer a gray wicker ottoman with a white cushion as an alternative. A robot call indicated delivery the next day, but nothing arrived. There seems to be a significant discrepancy in their online ordering system.

We experienced a house fire three years ago due to the contractor's fraudulent behavior in inflating prices to the insurance company. After hiring a new company, we did not receive paperwork for our appliances. One of the appliances, a brown lighted ceiling fan with leaf blades, is missing a light cover, and a blade flew off rendering it unusable. Due to the lack of paperwork, we are unsure how to address these issues without having to replace these relatively new appliances. Could you assist by providing a light cover and a new blade with screws if we share a picture of the fan? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I have 3 Hampton Bay ceiling fans with light kits that use a Well Tec switch with part number E116997. The lone capacitor has 3 wires and internally there are 2 capacitor circuits. I've been trying to replace the switch with a 3-speed switch that Home Depot and Amazon carry, but they only offer simple L1, L2, L3 off switches which don't work for this more complex circuit. The correct wiring is:
L = gray, 1 = purple, 2 = brown, 3 = black. I believe the red wire on the capacitor is a common wire. The two fans I'm struggling with have a sticker below the pull chain with [redacted]-[redacted]. I'm having difficulty finding the right switch due to the complex wiring. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, I purchased an 11ft outdoor solar umbrella from HOME DEPOT a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, during a recent rainstorm, the umbrella got completely destroyed. Despite understanding typical limitations of outdoor furniture, this particular umbrella did not meet the quality expectations we had based on our previous positive experience with Hampton Bay products. My husband assembled the umbrella meticulously and believes he should replace it himself. However, I feel that a replacement should be provided without him having to handle it. He missed seeing the damage happen during the rain, and I simply want our porch shaded again, especially because we have sun all day. This umbrella replaced our old one, and given my husband's busy schedule, a quick replacement would be highly appreciated. Thank you for your understanding. Sincerely, Jodi W.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the Hampton Bay Cambridge Brown Rocker with Blue Cushion, Model 65-17148BR, which my husband purchased from the Strongsville, Ohio store. Despite it being meant for outdoor use, the rocker is rusting and leaking, causing damage to our deck. Despite not being exposed to heavy rain, it has developed rust after only a short time. We've been satisfied with other Hampton Bay furniture we bought this summer, but this rocker is not holding up. I have pictures available for reference and would appreciate some form of reimbursement or voucher due to this issue. I am now forced to bring the rocker indoors, which is not ideal.

I was informed by a Home Depot salesperson that the touch light I purchased had a faulty solenoid switch that might stop working over time. This is the second pair of lamps of Model HBP 604A-35 we bought because we thought it was a one-time issue when the first set stopped working after just a year, but obviously, it was not. Even though the sales staff knew about the issue, Home Depot still sold them. Hampton Bay seems to have a bad reputation based on the product complaints I've seen, and the unhelpful customer service only adds to the frustration.

I am encountering a similar issue as others. I have 6 Miramar ceiling fans which were bought in [redacted] from Home Depot in Brownsville, TX. Following some power outages, two of the fans no longer respond to the remote control.
While the wall switch can turn on the lower light of one fan, the light blinks continuously and the fan does not start. I suspect the control with the dip switches may be damaged. Are replacements available? Where can I purchase them, and would this resolve the issue?
I am also interested in using LED bulbs in the lights. However, the older technology in the fan control panel requires [redacted] volts to detect that the bulb is on. When I use an LED bulb, the light keeps blinking continuously.
I value these fans and invested in larger ones for their longevity. It's disappointing that two fans are now malfunctioning.
Thank you for your assistance.

I recently purchased a Hampton Bay Crossridge 50,[redacted] BTU Antique Bronze Finish Gas Fire Pit. Upon assembly, I encountered multiple issues - the igniter didn't work and the flame keeps going out every few seconds. It has been quite frustrating trying to keep it running. I have been a satisfied customer of Hampton Bay products in the past, including ceiling fans. I would greatly appreciate it if you could send me a replacement ignition unit or burner assembly. I live at [redacted] Cathy St, San Diego, CA [redacted]. Unfortunately, I am unable to provide a video of the issue, but I believe this is a common problem. I really want this fire pit to work properly as it has become quite a hassle to deal with. Thank you in advance for your help! 😊

I am having issues with my brand-new Hampton Bay LED solar pathway lights #[redacted]. They are not staying lit from dawn to dusk as the instructions claim. I am satisfied with the design of the 12 lights I purchased, especially since they are no longer available at my local Home Depot. I suspect that the factory batteries are of low quality. I do not want to invest in new batteries for lights I recently purchased. I reside in Central Florida, where there is abundant sunlight for the solar lights. I would appreciate receiving new, higher-quality batteries as the lights are not functioning as expected. I have experienced problems with Hampton Bay ceiling fans as well, including issues with capacitors. I recently had to order a $20 capacitor for a one-year-old fan from Hampton Bay. I may consider switching to a different brand. Any assistance with these solar lights would be greatly valued.

I bought the Hampton Bay LED pathway light kit [redacted] [redacted] [redacted], which was quite pricey at around $[redacted]. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst purchase I've ever made. I had to use glue, electrical tape, and zip ties to fix each light due to their poor construction. It took me an extra six hours to repair them all. I am very disappointed with Hampton Bay and won't be buying from them again.

I own 6 Solar Powered Lights with SKU [redacted]-[redacted]. They are approximately one year old, and I have recently replaced all of their solar batteries. However, I am experiencing issues with them not recharging properly. Different lights come on at night, while others do not illuminate at all. They are all located within approximately 30 feet of each other on my sidewalk. Initially, after installation, all lights were working fine. I have checked the connections on the wiring, cleaned the lens, and wiped the panels, but the problem persists. The sunlight exposure and location remain the same. Can someone please assist me with this issue?

Hello Customer Service,
I recently moved into a new construction home and have installed four Hampton Bay Edgewater II 52-inch ceiling fans in my rooms.
Although I absolutely love my fans, I am unable to remove the globes on any of them.
I followed the directions by attempting to turn the globes clockwise for removal. Additionally, I lightly tapped around the globe connection with a rubber-edged tool, with no luck.
I called my electrician, assuming he had experienced this before and could assist me. He just left after spending a good amount of time, to no avail.
Can you help me? I really don't want to break the glass just to change a lightbulb.
