Since October 24, [redacted], Gold's Gym located at [redacted] Wedgewood Drive in El Paso, TX [redacted] has been closed due to a flood. The gym posted on their Facebook page suggesting members use another location until repairs are made. Over a month later, no progress was made, despite promises of a quick resolution. On December 7, they announced membership freezes, but when I requested assistance via email, I received no response. A $5 payment was deducted from my account on February 12, even though my membership was supposedly frozen. After contacting them, I was informed that memberships are only frozen for three months. I was not aware of this policy and requested a refund or cancellation due to the extended closure and inconvenient alternative location. The gym informed me that each freeze extends the contract, which is not favorable considering the circumstances. I am requesting assistance to cancel my membership under these circumstances.

I feel that a janitor at Gold's Gym is harassing me. I admit to looking at a young, beautiful woman in the past, which she didn't like. She spoke to me defensively, and since then, I ignored her, which led to her complaining to the manager. As I don't speak English, the janitor assisted. I never thought that my spitting bothered this janitor; I believe it's a normal bodily function. After that incident, I felt his strong hostile gaze towards me. One day, he rudely accused me of spilling water near a machine and threatened to kick me out of the gym. I didn't accept the blame without proof, causing tension. Recently, when I spat in the toilet, he aggressively inserted his leg under the door. Feeling harassed, I can't speak up due to my immigration status. The janitor, Jonathan, continues to bother me unjustly, likely feeling superior as a U.S. citizen who speaks English and is supported by the manager. I may seem to stare at women due to post-operative eyesight complications, not out of lewd intentions.

In February [redacted], I applied my Silver Sneakers benefit to my membership at the gym in Anderson, SC [redacted]. I had an agreement with the manager to use the massage chairs for $10 while my entrance and annual fee were covered by Silver Sneakers. However, despite being told everything was in order, I have been consistently charged $49 per month. Two weeks ago, I approached the desk for help in resolving this issue. Although the staff was kind, they were unable to get the new manager to assist and mentioned that the matter was escalated to corporate for resolution. They promised to contact me with an update, but I have not received any communication. To rectify the situation, I believe a fair solution would be to retroactively adjust my payments since February to include the $10 charge for the massage chairs, continue using Silver Sneakers benefits for the appropriate months, and cease the $10 charges until the gym addresses the overcharges incurred since February.

I encountered an issue with the Gold's app where I couldn't check in all of a sudden. After speaking with the manager at Yukon Gold's, I followed their suggestion to delete and reinstall the app. However, even after this, I kept getting an error message. The manager then changed my username, but the problem persisted after reinstalling the app. I attempted the process last night and again this morning, but the issue remains. As a result, I am unable to check into classes without assistance from the front desk. I am unsure what steps to take next to resolve this problem.

Hello, I'm Amanda Valdez. I have been a member for over two years. For the past three weeks, the women's showers have not had hot water. I have informed the front desk multiple times about this issue. It's frustrating that there are no signs at the front desk or near the showers to alert members about the lack of hot water. I used to visit the gym almost daily, but because of this ongoing problem, my visits have significantly decreased. I hope this issue can be resolved soon so that I can resume my regular gym routine.

I had a month-to-month contract with Gold's Gym, but my card was lost, so I had to cancel it. I relocated to a new place and couldn't return to the gym since then. Recently, I received an invoice for over $60, which was confusing as my membership was under $30 and it hadn't even been a full month. I assumed they would stop billing me since I hadn't used the gym since changing my card. Unfortunately, I am now being contacted by a debt collector for $[redacted], even though I haven't been to the gym in over 4 months. I need help getting this resolved but am unable to reach anyone for assistance.

I acquired a Gold's Gym Bench Press Model: GGBE19640 / Serial #: T05-G08708 back in [redacted]. Without realizing the need to register it at the time, I didn't. Recently, after finding it in storage, I need a few minor replacement parts for it. When reaching out to the customer service line at [redacted], I was informed they couldn't assist me as I wasn't registered from [redacted]. Even after attempting to get help with registration over the phone, I was disconnected. I'm feeling stuck in a loop trying to find support.

Ich bin seit fast 2 Jahren Local-Mitglied bei Ihnen für 50€. Zu Beginn des Monats habe ich meinen Vertrag auf Global erweitert, um das „Performance Center Opening Global [redacted]“ für 60€ statt der üblichen 70€ zu nutzen. Am 02.05.23 wurden jedoch [redacted]€ von meinem Konto abgebucht, was mir unverständlich ist. Warum wurde der Betrag doppelt abgebucht? Diese Änderung wurde mir nicht mitgeteilt, daher scheint es sich um einen Fehler seitens des Studios zu handeln. Ich bitte um eine zeitnahe Rückmeldung.

I tried to cancel my membership about two months ago due to having a baby and not needing it for at least a year. I contacted the Randleman Road Location in Greensboro, NC, believing it was frozen or canceled. Despite this, I continued to be charged various fees, putting me in a financial strain. I called again last week for clarity, only to be informed that cancellations must be done online or in person. While I am willing to do that, I am more worried about the $[redacted] in accumulated fees on my card. I have always been a fan of Gold's Gym and hope to resolve this issue promptly, as Gold's Gym is my first choice once I am ready to rejoin a gym. Looking forward to a helpful response.

I've been a Gold Gym member for around three years. Yesterday unexpectedly, I was removed from the steam room without cause, subjected to verbal abuse, threats, and accused of something unclear, resulting in a truly terrible and embarrassing experience. I am an Orthodox Jew, and given the current events in Israel, it seems like there might be bias at play. The person, claiming to be the general manager (Devon), stated there was no one higher up and insisted on filing an incident report regarding the unspecified accusation. I am considering legal action for discrimination.
