While I was setting up Google Drive on a new computer, I encountered an issue with resetting my password on my account due to the 2-factor authentication being linked to a Google Voice number that I can't access. This also affected my ability to use my Gmail account. Despite having a working username and password, I'm stuck in a loop during the authentication process. After attempting to send an authentication code to another email and initiating "account recovery," I received an email indicating that my account recovery request was canceled because Google detected my account being used on a device. However, I'm not actually signed in, which is causing confusion. I'm wondering how to break out of this loop and if there's an alternative method to verify my identity. The account recovery page didn't prompt me with any questions and continues to try sending a code to either the phone number or my Gmail address.

I am currently attempting to access an old email account in order to verify my identity for Instagram as I recently got locked out of my account. This particular email is around 7-9 years old, and unfortunately, I cannot recall the password for it. Despite numerous attempts to reset the password, I am unable to recollect the recovery email associated with it due to Gmail's use of asterisks. I have tried several options without success. The email I am trying to recover is either "tacticaldonut21" or "tacticaldoughnut21," but I am uncertain as the recovery email is obscured by asterisks. Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated so I can regain access to my Instagram account, which I have utilized for the past 6 years. Hello, everyone. I recently acquired a mobile phone from a colleague at work and performed a hard reset on it. However, I am now unable to unlock the phone as it is linked to a Google account for which I do not have the password. I have the correct Gmail address but lack the password needed for access. I am experiencing an issue with my Gmail account, [redacted] Some of the expected emails are not showing up in my inbox despite not being in my spam folder or having any filters set up. Certain emails were forwarded to this account from another one, and I can verify their presence in the forwarding account but can't find them in [redacted] Strangely, if I forward those missing emails from another account, I can see them in [redacted] I am worried that there may be more missing emails that I am unaware of. How can I resolve this problem and ensure I receive all the emails I am supposed to get?

I am facing an issue with my Gmail account being hacked. I am unable to regain access as the only way to reset the password is through verification codes sent to my account. I encountered a log out from all sessions which prevented me from proceeding with the retrieval process. The incident was confirmed when I noticed the password had been altered 15 hours ago. I urgently need to change the password to restore access to my account.

My primary Gmail account has been compromised due to someone gaining access through my stolen phone. They changed the phone number and recovery email, affecting my access to important photos and my EDD account. I have created a new email address but urgently need to regain access to my old account. I created a Twitter account under the Gmail address [redacted] with 2-step Factor Authentication. Due to a Google Authenticator app glitch last month causing the deletion of all my 2FA accounts, including Twitter, I lost access. Moreover, I had deleted the original Gmail account associated with Twitter in September. Twitter requires the original Gmail account for the account recovery process. Creating a duplicate Gmail account with the same name is not permitted by Google. This has led to several implications. My real name is linked to the inaccessible Twitter account (@fabiorestrepo_), making it searchable online. I am unable to make the account private, delete tweets, or manage its content. The Twitter account was significant for my artistic development, serving as a diary and portfolio of my work during the pandemic. I possess the account password and email but lack a backup plan for the 2FA issue. Since Twitter insists on the original email for assistance, I appeal for Google to allow the use of [redacted] or facilitate the recovery of that account.

I am currently in the middle of a difficult legal situation with my ex-partner. He has taken my phone and changed all the passwords to my three Google accounts - one for business and two personal accounts. Unfortunately, I am locked out of all of them as the recovery emails are linked to each other, and the two-step verification is causing issues. Hello, I own two Google Pixel phones, the Pixel 4a and Pixel 2XL. After formatting them, I've been trying to sign in to my Google account for the past five days, but I haven't received the verification code via text. I am having difficulty changing the name associated with my Gmail account. The desired owner name should be "Kyla Witt" instead of "Lauren Spaulding" connected to the email address "[redacted]" I have attempted to follow the instructions to change it, signed out of all devices, made another attempt, but it reverts back to the original name "Lauren Spaulding."
