Hello, I wanted to bring to your attention an ongoing issue that I have noticed in Scottville, Michigan. There is an individual, "twopockets3," who is consistently posting much lower gas prices on GasBuddy than the actual prices at the stations. This person is potentially affiliated with the City of Scottville, aiming to attract customers from neighboring areas by misleading them with inaccurate prices. The posted prices have not changed for several days and are currently listed at $3.23 - $3.27 per gallon, whereas the true price is around $3.79 - $3.80 per gallon. As a result, unsuspecting drivers relying on GasBuddy may end up overpaying for fuel when visiting Scottville. I urge action to address this misleading information and prevent further confusion among motorists seeking accurate gas prices. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards, S.W. Hesperia, Michigan

I want to report an unreliable member known as byrnum77 from Oakland Bay Area. This person consistently posts inaccurate prices because they do not drive or understand the real costs, often reporting prices from far locations like 30 miles away in different cities. They disregard others' reports and keep changing them without valid knowledge of the actual prices. This member seems solely focused on their computer screen without considering actual gas price fluctuations. It appears they might have been previously removed under different nicknames for the same issue. I kindly request for their removal to ensure accurate reporting on gas prices.

The pricing information for Woodman's gas station in Buffalo Grove, IL appears to be consistently inaccurate on GasBuddy, with owners potentially inflating prices by 30 to 90 cents. Despite the app showing prices at $4.19 and $4.95 for premium, I paid $3.95 and $4.19, respectively. It seems accounts such as pjmrhino, irene711, and shortysolo might be involved in this manipulation. I urge GasBuddy to investigate and potentially ban these accounts to maintain accuracy. I've captured recent pictures at Woodman's gas station to illustrate the actual prices at 5:18 pm CST on April 6th. Appreciate prompt action on this matter. - gbuddy12312

I am currently dealing with an issue related to a discrepancy in the amount owed to GasBuddy. Despite my bank not reflecting available funds, I was able to fill up my tank. I have been trying to resolve this matter through email support, and the prolonged back and forth has resulted in my account being sent to collections. I have made it clear that I am actively working on transferring the necessary funds, and I urge GasBuddy to cooperate rather than letting it default. Unfortunately, the responses I have received seem automated and unhelpful, with my inquiries being closed without proper resolution. The guidance provided in the app has only added to the confusion due to unclear instructions and contradictory information. I am seeking assistance but have not had any success so far.

I am concerned about the prevalence of station owners manipulating pump prices to attract customers in my area. In the past six months, I have noticed two instances that I believe require investigation. One incident occurred recently at a Mobil station in Aurora, Illinois, located at the intersection of N. Eola Rd. and E. New York St. This station was not operational, yet the owner continued to report a false price of $4.23. The second case is in Oswego, Illinois, at the junction of Rt. 34 and Orchard Rd. Despite the actual pump price being $.31 higher, the owner has consistently displayed a lower price of $4.23. I find this behavior deceitful and unjust, and I believe these owners need to face consequences for their actions. I am looking for suggestions on how to address and prevent this type of misconduct. Thank you, Ron T.

I am unable to locate gasbuddy information regarding fuel without alcohol content. The options available seem to contain a 10% alcohol blend, which may not be suitable for your truck that runs on fuel without alcohol. Using fuel with alcohol content can lead to lower mileage, with 87-grade having a shorter range due to its ethanol mixture affecting fuel efficiency. It appears that individuals on a fixed income are facing challenges finding affordable gas that fits their vehicle's requirements. It is crucial to identify gas stations offering alcohol-free fuel to meet specific needs and budget constraints while considering the impact on vehicle performance. Keep an eye out for different pricing options and be mindful of the fuel composition for optimal usage.

The GasBuddy app has become unreliable lately. I've noticed that prices at gas stations have been consistently misreported in my area for the past four weeks. After looking into it, I found that certain users are repeatedly posting inaccurate prices across various stations. This led my husband to go to our regular station and discover the listed price was $4.59, while it was actually $5.15. When I tried to report it on the app, the page refreshed, and the incorrect price was reinstated, claiming it was just reported two minutes ago. It seems that nearly every gas station listed on GasBuddy in our town has incorrect prices. Unfortunately, the app is no longer reliable or worth using for accurate price information.

As an employee of AT&T, our engineers need to utilize the GasBuddy application. I have made multiple requests to your development and support teams regarding a security problem. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive any response addressing the security issue discovered by our security team. Our Security team cannot authorize the Engineers to use the upcoming release on their mobile devices until this matter is resolved. I am looking to escalate this matter and would appreciate guidance on whom to contact about this security concern. The issue at hand involves a hardcoded API key. It is crucial to safeguard sensitive information like API keys. Hardcoding makes these keys easily accessible to hackers for potential exploitation. Example of the issue: "developmentAppKey" => "DFhv9-rwStKBRzkH07dgEg" "productionAppKey" => "v2_887FDQT2RJDKLDGbqlg"

I have experienced multiple occasions where I try to find a gas station using the GasBuddy app, only to arrive, activate the discount, pump gas, and then be told that they do not accept the GasBuddy card. It is frustrating and inconvenient, especially when I go out of my way to get to a station listed on the app for the discount. Why do some stations listed on the app not accept the card? If they are listed on the website, shouldn't they have a contractual agreement to accept the card? How can I claim my discount if I have to use a credit or debit card instead? My name is Nancy Andrysco, and you can contact me at [redacted]
