We are dissatisfied customers. We bought a new washer and dryer set from Home Depot on August 1, [redacted]. Our washer has stopped working, which is unacceptable. The technician, Chris, came today but didn't have the part to fix our washer. Our GE washer is only 3 weeks old and has stopped working, which is very disappointing. Chris mentioned that he needs to locate a part or order one, which could take up to 4 days. He said he would return on Saturday, September 2. I had to take a day off today assuming our washer would be fixed. I am extremely disappointed that our new washer broke down so soon. We need a replacement washer.

On Sunday, August 6th, my husband and I returned home to find our fridge not working, just two days after grocery shopping. The manufacturer's warranty ended on the 13th, and I hoped for quality assistance since the issue occurred within a year. Despite financial difficulties, we had to wait until the 14th for the earliest technician appointment. It turned out only the motherboard/circuit board needed replacement. It was frustrating that the company took an extra week to realize they were accountable rather than the store where we bought it. Then, we had to wait another full week for the repair. For three weeks, including a child in the household, we had to spend extra money eating out and lost over $[redacted] in groceries. The $75 "Food Loss Assistance" offered after this ordeal felt like an inadequate response to the situation caused by the company's product failure and delay.

My washer has been broken for over 6 weeks in Florida. The repair person was supposed to come before the hurricane, but you informed me he wouldn't make it that week or possibly the next. No alternative appointment was scheduled. The washer is only 3 months old. Despite the customer relations team being tasked with arranging the repair, I had to reach out myself. I am still without a working washer, spending $30 to $40 weekly on laundry and my time. This situation is incredibly unacceptable.

Hello, I attempted to contact the consumer relations department regarding 2 faulty water filters I received in separate packs of three. I was informed that due to the warranty expiration, they are unable to assist me. I did make several attempts to reach out during the warranty period, but faced challenges such as weekend closures, long wait times, and operating outside EST business hours. I am politely asking for an exception to replace the defective water filters. I value being a GE customer, but reliable customer support is essential for me. I bought a GE Energy Star 28.7 cu ft refrigerator from Costco on 5/19/22, delivered on May 27, [redacted]. The extended warranty I have through Costco is valid until May [redacted]. In November [redacted], the compressor failed and was replaced by Chambers Services in Bloomington, IL. In July [redacted], the refrigerant lines were purged, and R600A was replaced. Currently, the refrigerator and freezer are both at 47 degrees F. Chambers Services are unsure if the repair was successful. I inadvertently purchased a GE washer and dryer that have the Cancer Warning (Proposition 65) label, which has left me feeling concerned and unable to fully enjoy my appliances. I bought a new GE Dryer from Lowes on May 7, [redacted], model number GTD33EASK0WW, along with a 3-year Lowes protection plan. Unfortunately, the Dryer stopped working exactly four months after the protection plan expired, and now GE is asking me to pay a third-party provider to assess and repair it. I believe a Dryer should not stop working completely after just 3 years. I think GE should arrange for someone to inspect the Dryer and cover any necessary repairs.

Nine months ago, I bought a GE refrigerator from Lowe's. Lately, the compressor failed, so I reached out to GE customer service for assistance. In the last month, their technicians visited three times to replace the compressor and control board. Despite their efforts, the fridge is not working well, and during the last visit, the technician inadvertently damaged the door. The last technician shared the GE customer relations number with me and advised requesting a replacement if the issue persists. He assured me he would inform the manufacturer about the repair attempts. I am very frustrated with the whole ordeal and intend to ask for a replacement.

My 8-month-old GE portable dishwasher has stopped working. Despite making 4 calls in the past week, I am still waiting for a service rep to schedule a repair. The first business they referred me to is no longer operational, and even on the third call, I could not get a company to fix it. The customer service experience includes 45-minute wait times with each call. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with this situation. I regret purchasing a GE appliance, as the product is not even a year old and seems faulty. I intend to warn others about my experience. All I want is a working dishwasher or a refund!

Our GE Profile refrigerator's freezer has been struggling since June along with the ice maker. It was diagnosed with a sealed system problem, and despite numerous technician visits and part replacements, the issue persists as we approach October. Being a relatively new and costly appliance, less than two years old, I am now considering replacing it altogether. I am beginning to lose faith in the product and wonder if GE upholds their products as promised.

My oven wasn't heating, and a repairman made multiple attempts to fix it. Despite his efforts, he was unable to replace a board due to difficulty accessing it. Eventually, he left the job unfinished, instructing us to complete it ourselves. After plugging in the board as per his instructions, the oven worked, but now the settings were reversed. We asked him to return, but he canceled last minute, citing our involvement as the reason. Now, I am requesting a different repairman to fix the dial issue caused by the previous technician.

I bought a Zonline air conditioner, Model: AZ45E15DABW2, in [redacted]. It has had light usage over the years. Recently, the control panel stopped working correctly. Adjusting the temperature or turning the air conditioner on has become problematic. A professional checked and found the UI board needed replacing.
Compared to older models I own, purchased from [redacted] onwards, the AZ45E15DABW2 seems to have lower quality. Older units are quiet, efficient, and still working well. Considering the difficulties in ordering a replacement for the broken UI board, it appears the original part may have design flaws.
Is it possible to receive the replacement part, UI board WP26X24977, free of charge as a resolution because of the concerns with the original board, WP26X21480? Thank you.

I have contacted customer relations thrice regarding my GE Range Hood issue under Case # [redacted]. Leonard from GNB visited twice, first on 10/23, identifying that the hood blows down instead of pulling air up through the vent. He subsequently tried to resolve it but mentioned it requires GE's authorization for replacement as he couldn't correct the fan's direction. Chakila stated on 10/26 that an installation inspection was needed and assured Leonard would return on 11/1, but after reaching out post the scheduled time, it seemed he couldn't address the problem further. Despite my efforts to reach GE for assistance, the issue persists. A replacement hood that functions correctly needs to be provided as this seems to be a factory miswiring problem.

On 09/05/[redacted], I bought a GE chest freezer from American Freight in Monroe, MI for $[redacted].95. Additionally, a delivery fee of $[redacted].99 and a service call fee of $39.99 were incurred. Unfortunately, the freezer never reached a sufficient level of coldness to operate effectively upon plugging it in. After contacting ACE Appliance for a service call, the technician stated on the receipt that the lower half of the side panel showed frost while no frost pattern was present on the upper part. The compressor was noted to run at .3 amps, and it was concluded that the unit has a sealed system leak rendering it irreparable. I would like to request a replacement for this freezer and have the receipts available for your reference. Thank you.

I bought a GE UltraFresh Vent System washer. Unfortunately, after just 5 months, the electrical board and pump malfunctioned and need to be replaced. I am requesting a full refund as I have lost confidence in this product's reliability. I am very disappointed with the quality of this GE washer and feel it should not have failed so quickly. Currently, my laundry is stuck inside the locked machine, and I have to wait 2 weeks for repair. This situation has led me to seek a different washer from a more reliable company. In the meantime, I have to use a laundromat for washing my clothes.
