I purchased a GE Dishwasher, model PDT715SYN0FS on 01/01/[redacted] and had it installed on 01/23/[redacted], making it 21 months in use. Recently, I noticed water damage on my wood floor caused by a leak in the dishwasher. After local repair services visited, they determined that it's a manufacturing defect on the left side. This is my third GE dishwasher, and each had its own issues, including one that couldn't be fixed after multiple attempts. I have tried contacting GE's consumer relations department, but have been on hold for over an hour without success. I am curious to see the resolution for this manufacturing defect.

This is my 12th call regarding the GE kitchen set I purchased. The dishwasher has broken for the third time despite two repairs. I have spent countless hours on the phone with GE, submitted a consumer relations case, and was offered a replacement at a discounted cost on 9/11. After purchasing it and paying for installation, I received a message saying the item is out of stock and on backorder, offering a different model instead. This was not the agreed-upon model, as it was in stock when I made the purchase. My consumer relations contact, Katurah, has not been responsive to my emails, leading to an extremely frustrating customer experience. I am deeply disappointed and considering escalating this issue to GE's world headquarters or even traveling to their location in Kentucky.

I recently purchased a new GE refrigerator, model number G3325GSHMCSS, and I am dissatisfied that it does not allow me to set the temperature to below 34 degrees F on the left side. I find this design limitation unacceptable for the price I paid for the appliance. I prefer to have control over adjusting the temperature as needed. The serial number of my refrigerator is LS436136. I miss my old unit where my food would stay cold.
I would appreciate being able to set the temperature lower, even if it means voiding the warranty. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
F Wolf

We received a GE Profile refrigerator on August 13, which failed to cool properly and resulted in the loss of about $[redacted] worth of food. A replacement unit was delivered on August 28, exhibiting issues with condensation, a difficult-to-open door, and loud operation. This replacement is unsatisfactory, prompting us to pursue another brand.
Following the food loss, I contacted GE for reimbursement and was provided with a number to call. However, attempts to reach them resulted in a commercial message. I seek reimbursement for the $[redacted]-$[redacted] food loss and the inconvenience experienced.

I own a GE Adora gas range. The top two-thirds of the stove work well, but the bottom drawer is of poor quality. The plastic guides are ineffective, causing the drawer to come off track easily. This drawer is a huge disappointment. I believe it falls below even the lowest rating possible. The company should be ashamed of manufacturing such poor-quality products. Customer service appears lacking in this situation. I am extremely dissatisfied and look forward to a response and solution to this issue. Thank you.

I bought a GE refrigerator Model # PFE28KBLKTS in April. After a month, I noticed ice build-up in the freezer door inner part. I contacted GE service right away. Despite having 9 appointments since May 18, [redacted], the issue persists. I've received various explanations, from leaving the freezer open to food quantity. Even an external service company couldn't resolve it. Lately, when I call for appointments, they ask about my GE dishwasher instead. I've never had issues with it. Despite my loyalty to GE due to reliability, quality, and disappointing service quality, I'm told otherwise. I'm reaching out for help as today's scheduled appointment was not on record when I confirmed this morning. This is not the service I expect as a loyal customer. I also received a warranty extension offer, which shows a disconnect with customers.

I bought a GE refrigerator Model PFE28KBLKTS in April. After a month, I noticed ice build-up in the freezer door. Despite multiple service appointments since May, the issue remains unresolved. Excuses were made, including blaming me for leaving the freezer open, but that's impossible due to alerts. Even external contractors couldn't fix it. Recently, confusion arose as calls assumed I had a GE dishwasher problem, which I've never had. This experience contradicts my previous satisfaction with GE. Today's scheduled appointment wasn't even in their records. This level of service is disappointing for a loyal customer like me. I've received requests to extend warranties, showing a disconnect. After nine failed attempts, I believe the best solution is for GE to replace the refrigerator due to ongoing issues. Thank you.

I received a GE Profile refrigerator, model PFE28KSKSS, on September 3, [redacted]. Starting in September [redacted], I noticed water on the floor around the bottom drawer freezer and ice accumulation. Even after attempting some DIY fixes, the issue recurred multiple times. Despite visits from GE technicians and the replacement of malfunctioning motherboards, the problem still persists as of September [redacted]. GE has offered a $[redacted] discount on a new refrigerator, but I am unsatisfied with the temporary solutions and want a permanent fix or a replacement unit. The recurring issue has severely impacted my experience with the product, leading to significant frustration. I hope GE can address this recurring problem and uphold the quality of their products.

My microwave caught fire after four years of use. When I contacted GE for repairs, they couldn't fix it as my model was discontinued. The technician guided me to a website where I found a similar model, PES7227SL4SS, which I purchased for $[redacted] after a discount. However, the new microwave doesn't fit my old install kit, which is a problem as it's mounted in a custom cabinet with a trim kit. I'm struggling to locate an appropriate kit for the new unit.
I'm concerned about the safety hazard of the fire incident and feel that there should be a recall for this model. I've always been a loyal GE customer, purchasing over $60,[redacted] worth of products, and I hope to resolve this matter for a positive experience. Can anyone help me find a suitable installation kit or suggest a solution to make the new microwave fit securely in my kitchen cabinet?
Thank you,
Tom O.

Melissa, I am experiencing issues with GE Connected services that I would like to address. Previously, my A/C unit functioned well with the wifi setup in our previous residence. However, after moving and reinstalling the unit, we sought assistance to set up the wifi connection for the "smart" features. The technical team requested A/C information and performed remote actions, resulting in the unit suddenly beeping and malfunctioning. Despite being just out of warranty, we were informed we would have to pay $[redacted] for service. I kindly request that the unit be restored to its original working state without the wifi connection to resolve this issue. If your team is unable to assist, please escalate this matter to another department for resolution. Thank you.

My microwave, which is * years old, recently caught fire. I contacted GE for repairs, but since my model was discontinued, they weren't able to fix it. I bought a new microwave resembling the old one, but it doesn't fit the existing install kit in my custom cabinet. The trim kit might work, but I can't find a suitable install kit. The new model cost $*** after a **% discount. I need assistance locating a kit to make it a built-in microwave. If not, I'll have to hire someone to create a solution. The safety issue worries me, and I believe there should be a recall due to similar incidents reported online. I hope Consumer Relations can address this and help me resolve the situation. I've been a loyal GE customer for over ** years and have invested significantly in their products. Your help in making this a positive experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Tom Olson.

I purchased a GE microwave on 10/16/21 and after two days of use, it stopped heating properly. When I tried to warm my coffee by entering "3," it remained cold. Despite having the microwave for less than two weeks, it's already malfunctioning. I contacted customer service for a repair, but was informed that the necessary parts were unavailable. Now, they are asking me to purchase another GE microwave, send them the receipt, and then they would issue a refund, which I find unreasonable. I am disappointed with both the microwave and the service received, and I don't want to buy another GE product. How can I effectively address this situation?

I have been experiencing difficulty getting assistance through phone calls, leading to frustration. I have a new fridge purchased less than 3 years ago, and now I am informed that I need to acquire a new door due to issues with the ice maker freezing up. The internal leak in the fill tube of the door is the cause. Despite my loyalty to GE products, owning multiple appliances including refrigerators, a stove, and a microwave, I am disappointed by this recent experience. I chose GE again for its quality and reliability, but I am disheartened by the need for costly repairs so soon. A technician recommended reaching out to address this unusual issue. Upon inspection, it was found that the door gasket has shrunk, causing cold air to escape. I expect my GE refrigerator (GFE26JBMAFTS, serial GL320200) to be repaired promptly and effectively, reflecting the durability expected from GE products. I hope this matter can be addressed without additional expenses. Thank you, Chad Buschor.

I purchased a GE Microwave oven on October 26, [redacted]. It was delivered in January [redacted], but the door did not open, making it unusable. The replacement unit I received in February [redacted] did not turn on at all. I have contacted the Consumer Relations Center about 20 times and have spoken to the supervisor five times, but I have yet to receive my replacement unit. The agreed procedure is as follows:
1. GE will send a new microwave and trim kit to my house (although the trim kit is unnecessary as the old one can be reused).
2. I will work with a local installer to uninstall the current non-working microwave, install the new one, and pay the installer (to be reimbursed by GE).
3. I will dispose of the current non-working unit and cover any disposal charges, which will be reimbursed by GE.
4. I will provide invoices for the installation and disposal charges to GE.
5. GE will issue a reimbursement check for the installation and disposal costs.
Looking for your assistance in resolving this matter.

I recently moved into a new house built by Kennedy Homes, LLC in Jan [redacted], and it came with high-end GE appliances. Sadly, a leak was discovered around the kitchen island, affecting the wood floor and cabinetry panels. The dishwasher, Model # PDT715SYNOFS and serial # TM832441B, needs servicing, but I've been struggling to get assistance. Despite turning off the power and water to the dishwasher, the builder's kitchen vendor, Distinctive Kitchens and Bath, assessed the damage to the island at $1,[redacted].00. I need to file a claim for compensation and get the dishwasher serviced. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Stephen Galarza, [redacted] Deer Haven Dr, Wellington, FL [redacted].

My four-year-old GE dishwasher started leaking, so I decided to buy a new one through the GE website. The delivery was scheduled for October 14, but the drivers couldn't install it. After several failed attempts and wasted time, a plumber had to be hired to complete the installation, only to find a leak in the hose. It took nearly two months from purchase to installation due to miscommunications and delays with GE's service team. I am disappointed with the whole experience and won't be buying GE products again or recommending them to others. It's frustrating to pay for installation and end up with unqualified delivery drivers who can't complete the job.

I recently purchased a gas dryer from The Brick in Huntsville, Ontario. I placed the order on August 8, [redacted], and picked it up in early October. I had to convert it from natural gas to propane. When it was finally installed on November 7, [redacted], it did not work when plugged in. After contacting GE service, I was informed there was no service technician in my area of Parry Sound, Ontario, and that I would need to find one and pay them directly, with reimbursement promised by GE within 2-3 weeks. Unhappy with this solution, I requested to speak to a supervisor. After several days, I finally spoke with a manager on November 10, who reiterated the same procedure. Given the cost and the ongoing issue with the dryer, I am requesting that GE send a technician at their expense to diagnose and repair or replace the dryer.

My family has been without a GE washer for almost a month. When I contacted the warranty division, they were incredibly helpful and understanding. Unfortunately, the technician they scheduled did not show up... twice. The GE representative acknowledged this was unacceptable and mentioned the possibility of replacing the product if another company couldn't come out promptly. A new appointment was scheduled without checking with me, and I won't be available on that day. Despite my call to reschedule, the earliest available date now is the 3rd of December. I haven't caused this issue, yet my family is left without a washer, and we've had to take time off work on multiple occasions due to GE contractors not showing up. I urgently need a quicker resolution to get my washer fixed or replaced.

We purchased a GE refrigerator, model GNE27JYMNFFS, serial number MS328868, on September 10, [redacted], from Best Buy in San Antonio, Texas. Despite registering it on September 19, [redacted], the refrigerator stopped working on November 9, [redacted]. After struggling to contact GE, we managed to speak with a live person through the Geek Squad at Best Buy. GE informed us they had no service providers in Castroville and directed us to A&E repair after numerous phone calls. The repairman identified a faulty circuit board but needed to research the part number. Eventually, GE located over [redacted] of the needed parts in their warehouse, ordered and shipped us the part through FedEx, received on Sunday, November 28, [redacted]. Despite having the part, A&E stated on November 29, [redacted] that it could take up to three weeks to identify the part numbers. We have a case number [redacted]1 with GE customer relations and are frustrated by the ongoing delays and runaround. Our installation was rescheduled today, November 29, [redacted], without explanation. We expect immediate resolution and demand a new refrigerator delivered this week, or we will pursue legal action to enforce GE’s warranty.

I recently purchased a GE Christmas tree for this year's holiday season. I bought it in January, excited as it appeared to be exactly what I was looking for based on the online images and the box. However, upon opening it today, I was disappointed to find that it falls short of the 5' height as advertised. I stand at 5'4" and even I am taller than the tree! Additionally, when spreading the branches, a significant amount of flocking comes off. Lowe's refused to accept the return citing their 90-day policy. I believe the tree is defective and was advised to contact you to address the issue. I have recently made a purchase of a stove from your store, so I trust in the quality of your products and hope for a satisfactory resolution.
