I have a GE Ultra Low NOX 6-year water heater bought in early [redacted]. I had to change the thermocouple in [redacted] and [redacted], and it failed again last month. I've ordered a new thermocouple. This water heater has been troublesome; generally, water heaters last 10 to 20 years without issues. I am seeking a partial refund reflecting the time spent replacing these thermocouples over the years.

I purchased a GE Dryer in July [redacted], and it has not worked properly from the beginning. Despite having multiple service calls, the appliance continues to malfunction. The parts ordered and installed last year have not resolved the issue, and the Dryer is acting up in the same way once again. I have another appointment scheduled for Friday, June 8th. When contacting the Consumer Relations Line, I encountered an unhelpful and rude operator who mentioned that without an extended warranty, there is limited assistance GE can offer. A minimal 25% discount on parts was reluctantly provided. This ongoing problem with the Dryer has been frustrating, especially considering the lack of support from GE. As loyal customers who often use GE appliances in our home renovations, this experience has been disappointing and has tarnished our opinion of the company.

I have been trying to contact you regarding a bill for a microwave that was supposed to be fixed by your serviceman. Unfortunately, it still does not work. He has been to my house multiple times and always needs to return. I do not want him back in my home. Besides failing to repair the dishwasher, he also scratched and damaged my hardwood floor. Despite filing a claim and having an adjuster confirm the issues, I am not willing to pay for a faulty microwave that cost over $[redacted]. I have been calling daily for months, but after being on hold for 30 minutes, I had to disconnect the call due to my work schedule. Please respond promptly so we can address this matter. Thank you.

I bought a GE refrigerator from Home Depot in August [redacted] and it was delivered to my home in Katy, Texas. In April, it started making ticking sounds, then in May, the cooling stopped. I called GE Appliance and a repairman named Jose came on May 25. He found the compressor was dead and I opted to replace it. I paid $[redacted].20 and was told it would take about two weeks for the compressor to arrive. When I called on June 4, I was informed the compressor was on back order until June 27. I am disappointed with the poor customer service and long wait time for a GE part. I've lost a lot of food and have been inconvenienced by transferring items to other refrigerators. I hope GE can provide a prompt solution to this issue and improve their service.

My husband, aged 79 with a heart condition, purchased a GE air conditioner less than a year ago. Unfortunately, it has not functioned correctly since installation. Despite numerous attempts to contact GE since last summer, the customer service experience has been frustrating, with long hold times and transfers that lead nowhere. After finally reaching GE two weeks ago following a 30-minute hold, a technician diagnosed a freon leak and arranged for the unit to be picked up on June 10, [redacted]. Despite a promise of a quick return, it has been a week without any updates. Even speaking to someone in Memphis on June 16, [redacted], did not resolve the issue smoothly. Living in uncomfortable conditions due to the faulty AC unit has been challenging, especially given my age and health concerns. Requesting a loaner AC unit was also ignored, adding to the disappointment with GE's service. I hope for a quick resolution to this matter. Regards, Joyce

In October, I purchased a new refrigerator, but unfortunately, the freezer stopped working properly. After scheduling a service appointment, I had to wait two weeks for the technician to arrive. Upon inspection, a part needed replacement, which was supposed to take an additional two weeks to arrive. However, it has now been six weeks, and the part is still on back order with no clear timeline for resolution. I am disappointed with the prolonged wait and lack of assistance, especially after investing $[redacted] in what was supposed to be a reliable brand. The service quality has been unsatisfactory, leaving me in a challenging situation without a functioning freezer.

I bought a GE side by side refrigerator and double oven in October [redacted] to prepare for Thanksgiving. The ice machine broke in less than 3 weeks. SK Lavery store in West Hartford, CT sent a repair person who diagnosed the issue, ordered a new motor, and fixed it after Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, the problem reoccurred. Due to health issues, I delayed getting it fixed until April. Another new motor was needed and a wrong part was delivered in June. As of now, the ice maker is still not working. I believe GE should replace the whole unit. Despite liking my GE oven, I won't buy GE again unless this is resolved. My time has been wasted trying to fix this. Thank you.

I purchased a washer from Home Depot in Richfield, UT on July 23, [redacted]. Recently, on June 13, [redacted], it stopped draining water from the tub. After setting up an appointment with GE appliances, a technician from Appliance Alliance assessed the machine and replaced the drain pump. However, GE now claims my machine is not under warranty, which is confusing because I bought it less than a year ago. I would appreciate if my warranty could reflect the day I received the machine rather than the day it was sent to Home Depot. I also seek assistance in having my claim with Appliance Alliance covered under warranty.

I have experienced two GE Profile refrigerators over the past four years. The first one was replaced after multiple repairs. The current refrigerator is now facing similar issues. The fan has been exchanged several times, and after waiting for three weeks for a new fan to arrive for replacement by Assurant Insurance Co., we are reaching our limit with this product. Dealing with the repeated breakdowns has caused me to take time off work and the hassle of moving food in and out of the refrigerator is very time-consuming. I am considering looking for compensation unless the ongoing problem with the loud fan breaking and freezing the food is resolved by GE Profile. The serial numbers are TFf505226 and [redacted]27, along with contract numbers [redacted] and [redacted]27. I have spent countless hours contacting different departments for these repairs, which has been frustrating. Your prompt assistance to address these issues would be greatly appreciated. - K. E. I had my GE Monogram Range installed a few months ago, but the griddle has not been working. The technician came out on the week of June 26th and diagnosed a faulty thermostat, requiring a new part to be ordered. Despite rescheduling due to a miscommunication about a parent needing to be present, my son was home and I contacted them right away. However, subsequent appointments on July 16th and 23rd did not go smoothly. The technician did not show up on the 16th, and though they fixed the griddle on the 23rd, it now does not heat up at all. I am frustrated with the service and the lack of communication regarding the repairs. I am adamant about getting my range either properly fixed or replaced. Thank you, Haley

To whom it may concern, I have owned GE Appliances for 31 years, but I am currently dissatisfied. In July 13, [redacted], I purchased 2 Dehumidifiers with pumps from HomeDepot for $[redacted] each, each with a 1-year warranty. One unit stopped working after 2 months. When I called GE Customer Service on June 1, [redacted], I was informed that I would receive a refurbished unit with a 30-day warranty. The refurbished unit arrived on July 17th, during a period of intense heat and humidity when I needed the dehumidifier the most. I was disappointed that the refurbished unit did not include the 15-foot pump hose and arrived scratched up. As a loyal GE customer for over three decades, I find it challenging to continue recommending GE products due to this experience. I believe I should have received a new unit with the hose and a further warranty for customer satisfaction. I am looking forward to your response. Regards, Regina C.

I encountered issues with my washing machine, so I reached out to GE repair service for assistance. The technician who visited mentioned the need to order a part despite me providing a detailed explanation and the model number when booking the service. Subsequently, I had to take more time off work for subsequent appointments. Today, after the repair, our washer malfunctioned, flooding our laundry and kitchen areas. Following a lengthy wait and unhelpful interaction with the customer service representative, I am frustrated by the multiple service visits required. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the advocate and requested to speak with a supervisor, but after a prolonged hold, I chose to disconnect the call. I am disappointed by the poor service experienced and have decided to look for alternative solutions in the future.

Hello, I am seeking assistance for a GE Cafe refrigerator model CFSP5RKBD with Serial # TZ312839 that we have been experiencing ongoing issues with. Despite multiple warranty repairs, it has malfunctioned again and is currently not powering on. This recurring problem has resulted in significant inconvenience, with multiple service calls, spoiled food, and damage to our kitchen floors due to the ice maker leaking. We urgently require a solution as we now face another week without a functioning refrigerator in the heat of summer. Previous service records should indicate the frequent repairs this appliance has required. A previous GE technician suggested contacting you to request a replacement due to the persistent issues we have encountered. We kindly ask for your assistance in resolving this matter promptly.

My GE over-the-range microwave, less than a year old, recently malfunctioned. The warranty service sent a technician for repairs, but they had to order parts. It has been over a month with no update on when the parts will arrive. Unfortunately, I have been unable to reach customer service for assistance. If this continues, my next step may involve seeking help from the media. I am in urgent need of either a loaner microwave or a prompt repair for this faulty unit. The microwave, acquired in August [redacted] at Home Depot, developed issues in late June. The authorization number is [redacted]. Thank you for any support you can offer.

I had a condo built in [redacted] with all GE appliances, including a cooktop stove. Due to unfortunate circumstances, my husband fell ill shortly after we moved in, and the cooktop was used minimally. Unfortunately, after his passing, I encountered issues with the burners not igniting properly. Despite being told it was out of warranty, I had a GE repairman assess the stove, and the repair cost was nearly $[redacted]. Disheartened by the situation, I initially decided to use matches to light the burners. However, frustrated by the premature breakdown, I called the repairman back. To my surprise, he mentioned that the parts are guaranteed for 5 years, raising the question of why the original parts did not meet this warranty. I would appreciate clarification on this matter. Kind Regards, Linda A. from Highland, Michigan.

Purchased a GE dishwasher (Model # PDT855SSJSS) on August 15, [redacted]. It broke down in June [redacted], causing a leak that damaged our kitchen floor. Despite multiple service reschedulings initiated by GE, the dishwasher remains non-functional two months later. Seeking a replacement or refund through the warranty claim process, or else considering legal action against GE.

I have been experiencing issues with my GE Washer, specifically the GEĀ® ENERGY STARĀ® 4.5 DOE Cu. Ft. Capacity Frontload Washer with steam, Model: GFW450SSKWW, Serial: LH214849T, Install Date: 11/07/[redacted]. The first instance of the washer not operating was on June 24, [redacted]. After reaching out to GE Service on June 25, [redacted], Aloha Appliance & Ref., LLC inspected the washer on June 30, [redacted]. Despite draining the water and checking for error codes, no issues were found. The washer worked without laundry. However, on July 13, [redacted], the same problem reoccurred. After several repair attempts by Aloha Appliance & Ref., LLC, including replacing the main control board, inverter board, and door switch, the washer remains faulty. The GE Technical Representative advised further replacements, suggesting a new wiring harness. Aloha Appliance & Ref., LLC is unsure of the timeline for repair completion and recommends contacting GE Consumer Relations for a possible washer replacement.

My refrigerator is not working. It's under warranty and less than a year old. The model number is CYE22TSHQSS and the serial number is FL507924. I scheduled a repair appointment with Wesson Tech Services for 08/03/18 from 12pm to 5pm with confirmation number [redacted]75, but nobody showed up. I contacted GE, which is only open on weekdays from 8am to 5pm, so I have been without a working refrigerator for 7 days now. I am unable to buy food for my family and eating out is becoming expensive. The repair company doesn't return calls and their phone goes straight to voicemail. This has been a terrible experience, and I expect better customer service from GE. I am requesting a food voucher and compensation for the time I took off work. I hope GE can rectify this situation promptly.

Concern regarding Service Confirmation # [redacted]: I had scheduled oven repairs for August 8th from 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, but it was canceled by GE without notice due to their busy schedule. They proposed August 9th for the repair, which doesn't work for me due to work commitments. Despite multiple calls to customer service and Consumer Relations, no solution has been provided. I am left without working ovens, no new repair schedule, and have lost a day's work due to GE's incompetent customer service.
