I am seeking assistance with my canceled itinerary #[redacted][redacted] from [redacted] due to Covid. In an email, I was informed about $[redacted].50 in credits for my husband Stephen and me. We used $[redacted].41 each for a trip from Boston to Fort Myers on 2/21/23 with ticket numbers Deborah - [redacted][redacted] and Stephen - [redacted][redacted]. After deducting the amount used, we believe we each have $[redacted].09 in remaining credits, which we want to use before Delta's extended expiration of 12/31/23. However, I am encountering difficulties accessing these credits on Expedia’s website. I was previously told the credits would expire on 12/31/22, but now with Delta's extension, I aim to utilize the remaining credits. During my stay at the Motel 6 in Ronhart, California, on April 16, I mistakenly made a reservation for June 16 through Expedia. The motel employee acknowledged the error but mentioned she needed me to create a reservation for a better rate. Despite her assurance to cancel the June booking, I discovered I was charged for it after returning home to Las Vegas. Despite repeated attempts to reach out to Motel 6, their staff keep redirecting me to speak with the manager who has been consistently unavailable for the past week. This ongoing issue has been frustrating, and I hope to resolve it as soon as possible.

On June 7th, [redacted], I made a hotel reservation through Expedia. The hotel charged my card on the morning of check-in, June 16th, [redacted], for $[redacted].60. Upon arrival at 5:15 pm on June 16th, the hotel couldn't find my reservation even though I was charged earlier that day. After contacting Expedia without success in reaching the hotel, a new reservation was made at a nearby hotel for two nights. I was only supposed to be charged once for the initial reservation. However, upon check-in at the new hotel, my card was charged three times. I was charged $[redacted].60 by the first hotel where there was no reservation, $[redacted].60 through Expedia, and $[redacted].47 for the new hotel stay. This resulted in an overcharge of $[redacted].40. Despite being promised by an Expedia agent that I would only be responsible for one charge, this was not the case. I have opened disputes with my bank and Expedia, and my case number with Expedia is [redacted]37. I am seeking a refund of $[redacted].40 to correct the overcharge. No coupons or airline credits are acceptable as I need the funds to settle the unwarranted credit card charges. I look forward to a prompt resolution.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent travel booking I made through Expedia. Despite paying $[redacted] for a flight to Orlando, FL, Expedia only received $[redacted].75. I am seeking a refund for the difference. Additionally, upon arrival, I encountered issues with the car rental I had booked but never received. Waiting for over an hour at 12:30 a.m. with a delayed flight and lack of communication made this travel experience extremely frustrating. I had flown to Florida to visit my brother in the hospital and spending hours without a car was unacceptable. The lack of available vehicles and poor communication at the rental car service made this trip the worst transportation experience I have ever had. I had to resort to taking a taxi to the hospital and remained there for the weekend. I have a booking with Expedia to travel from Austin, Texas to Sacramento, California from June 27th to June 29th. Additionally, I have a car rental reservation through Thrifty in Sacramento for the same dates. I chose your service because it allows me to use my debit card for payment instead of a credit card. I want to confirm that upon arrival in Sacramento, I can easily pick up the rental car without any issues at the airport.

I recently had an interview with someone claiming to represent Expedia Group. I have a few concerns about the process. First, the communication was done through team messaging on Microsoft, which I found unusual. The second issue arose when I was supposedly offered a job verbally but have not received any official job offer letter. The person mentioned sending equipment and asked for my id.me login details and social security number, even though I already have an id.me account. The third red flag was when they said they would send a check for me to deposit and keep part of the funds to purchase office equipment for a work-from-home position. This sounds like a scam to me, especially since I can't find a valid phone number to contact Expedia Group for verification.

I am looking to consolidate my accounts. I currently have two separate accounts associated with two different email addresses. I encountered an issue when trying to book flights from Charlotte, NC to BOS and back with a car rental included. The website prompted me to use a different card, but the transaction did go through on my end. Upon checking my account, I noticed there were three transactions for $[redacted].80 each and one for $[redacted].92. I only intended to purchase two tickets to Boston, round trip, and a car rental for the week. I am seeking a refund for the extra transactions.

We rented a car through Expedia from Thrifty with confirmation number [redacted]12 for a midsize SUV. Upon pickup, we were charged an additional $[redacted] for an upgrade. Unfortunately, the car's transmission failed while driving, and we had to endure a stressful situation. After contacting the rental company, we managed to reach Asheville airport after facing difficulties. We were charged an extra $[redacted].32 for a replacement car with confirmation number L[redacted]3. Despite these issues, Thrifty has not been able to assist as the drop-off location did not update the return. We feel entitled to a refund of $[redacted].32 due to the inconvenience and additional costs incurred.

I bought a one-way ticket from Portland (PDX) to Chicago O'Hare (ORD) for yesterday, June 25th, [redacted], but did not receive the confirmation. Consequently, I purchased another ticket. On the 25th, I received a text from Alaska Airlines prompting me to check-in. When I contacted the airline to cancel, they mentioned that Expedia had the incorrect email address, causing the confirmation oversight. Josael from your customer service team contacted the necessary individuals and assured me a refund would be issued to my Amex card ending in [redacted]. So far, I have received refunds for the hotel booking, car rental booking, collision damage, and package protection package. I bought a ticket for my grandson, Kenny Walker, to attend my wedding. Unfortunately, he is experiencing a panic attack and cannot fly due to weather and flight changes. He has panic attack disorder and I would like to request a flight voucher for him to use at a later date when he is feeling better. I miss him and really want him to be there. The ticket was purchased for American Airlines flight [redacted] from Newark to Charlotte on 6-27-23, and then from Charlotte to New Orleans. During my stay at the hotel on June 16th, I encountered an issue with my reservation for the 30th. At check-in, the staff member assured me she fixed the date error and adjusted the rate accordingly. However, I later discovered my reservation was still active for the 30th. Despite canceling through Expedia promptly, I was still notified of the upcoming booking. Clear communication about canceling my reservation for the 30th would have been appreciated. I believe I am owed a refund due to the confusion surrounding the reservation adjustments.

Yesterday, I tried to purchase a flight ticket from Bogota to Salt Lake City, Utah for my friend. The travel dates are from September 21, [redacted] to October 5, [redacted]. We booked a flight with Expedia on Virgin Atlantic from NZ to the UK. Unfortunately, there was an error in my husband's middle name. Despite contacting Expedia over 40 times by phone, the correction has not been made in the two months since our initial request. Although Virgin Atlantic has granted permission via email for the name change, Expedia claims they can't proceed without the airline canceling the booking first. This has resulted in a back-and-forth where Expedia says they need Virgin Atlantic to cancel, while needing to contact the airline to do so.

I recently attempted to book a round trip from New York to Saint Maarten. However, I was charged three times for a total of $[redacted].00 plus additional fees. Despite this, I have not received a confirmation number or any flight details. After checking my email and account booking information, there is no record of my booking. I've been attempting to reach someone at Expedia without success. On June 28th around 10:06 AM, I tried to book a ticket through Expedia. After pressing confirm, an error message appeared saying there was an issue with the seat. Despite attempting again, the same error occurred. I haven't received any emails or itinerary, but my credit card was charged twice. The last 4 digits of the credit card used are [redacted]. The ticket was for an American Airlines flight to Port of Spain on July 1st, one-way. Kindly investigate this matter and process a refund for the transactions. The name on the card is Shareek Hosein.
