Subject: Urgent Attention Needed for Power Line Issue at [redacted] Route 80, Guilford, CT
I would like to bring to your attention an incident that occurred during a recent high wind storm on March 2nd and 3rd, [redacted], involving Power Line Pole Number [redacted] near [redacted] Route 80 in Guilford, CT. The top of a pine tree from State property fell on the power lines, breaking the top of the power line pole and trapping the lines under the weight of the tree trunk.
The tree removal crew, Aspund, had to use a bucket truck on my lawn to safely access and remove the pine tree trunk from the lines to release the tension. Some debris was left on my property, and while the damaged lawn was cleaned up, larger pieces of the tree trunk and the broken section of the power line pole remain.
Despite contacting Eversource about the issue, only the top of the power line pole was repaired, and they indicated that fallen trees are the homeowner's responsibility to remove. The deep ruts left by the bucket truck on my lawn have been repaired, but the issue with the tree and remaining debris persists.
I urge prompt action to address the safety hazard posed by the remaining tree limb on State property overhanging Ct 80. I seek resolution for this matter as soon as possible. Attached are photographs for reference.

Good morning, I have been attempting to contact Eversource via email for about a week but have not received a response. Regrettably, my account was subject to a shut off yesterday due to missed payments on an arrangement. I recently discovered fraudulent activities in my bank account and offered to provide proof through email but have not heard back from Eversource. I acknowledge the circumstances Eversource must adhere to but wish to settle my bill. I can pay off the entire balance within the month and am seeking to arrange a new payment plan. This year has been challenging after the loss of my child and dealing with theft. My youngest son requires a breathing machine, and I can provide medical documentation if necessary. We recently switched from paper to paperless billing but missed our last due date on 9/6. The following bill due on 10/5 required the full amount to be paid by that date without forewarning of potential disconnection. On 10/1 at 11:50 am, our power was abruptly shut off due to a 25-day delay in payment. After reaching out for assistance, we settled the total balance on the same day along with an additional $[redacted] reconnection fee and a $[redacted] deposit. This experience seems unjust and purely profit-driven by Eversource. Despite being loyal customers for over 11 years, the lack of notice and unhelpful customer service is disappointing. Two emails to inquire about the disconnection policy have yielded unhelpful responses directing to the credit department, leading to frustratingly long wait times and dropped calls. This disrespectful treatment of customers is unacceptable and unprofessional. It is essential for Eversource to clarify their policies and explain the abrupt disconnection after only 25 days.

I urgently need my electricity restored today. Due to a missed payment, I did not receive a specific turn-off date notice. I only received an email indicating a late payment and a warning of potential disconnection. I settled the bill tonight in full, but upon returning home with my young children, the house was freezing with no power, and there was a note on the door. It is crucial to have it reconnected tomorrow morning, especially with a baby and another child depending on it. Thank you.

I wanted to bring to your attention a concern regarding a cover that was installed on the service wires running from the pole to my house back in September [redacted]. Despite multiple requests since October [redacted] for the cover to be removed, it remains on the wire. With winter approaching, I am worried about potential issues if the cover gets filled with ice. I may need to remove it myself soon. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I was never directly contacted by Eversource about my upcoming service shutoff. After updating my mailing address, there seems to have been an issue where the service address registered with Eversource does not match the one recognized by USPS. My correct address is [redacted]-R Main St., Rear Unit D, Hyannis, MA [redacted], but Eversource has it listed as [redacted]-R Main St #4, Hyannis, MA [redacted]. Unfortunately, USPS does not deliver to the address Eversource has on file. This discrepancy caused us to miss any shutoff notices. Despite Fuel Assistance's promise to pay, it seems this is not sufficient. We have a toddler, an electric stove, and a fridge full of hundreds of dollars worth of food at risk. Both of us are on permanent disability. We are in urgent need of an extension until June 1st so I can coordinate with Fuel Assistance and arrange a payment plan as offered.

Re: Human Resources Registration Issue
I attempted to sign up for the Eversource Careers website by entering my email and password. However, upon receiving the link in my email, it was not functioning despite multiple attempts. I need a functioning link to successfully register on the Careers site.
Subsequently, a popup on my LinkedIn falsely claimed that my application was submitted, even though I did not complete or share any information on my profile. I prefer to send my application with a cover letter and resume directly, instead of having my profile shared publicly.
I appreciate any assistance in resolving these issues.

I spend six months on Cape Cod every year, from the end of April to the end of October. We have arrangements in place to forward our mail to Florida during this time. Recently, I received an Eversource bill dated December [redacted] with a $[redacted].97 due date for 12/[redacted]. The bill got to me on 12/10/19. I don't believe I should be penalized for the delay caused by the Cape Cod Post Office in Brewster, MA, for not forwarding the bill promptly.

We received a call this morning at our business from Eversource ([redacted]) threatening to shut off our electricity in 30 minutes and instructing us to call [redacted]. After a long hold, a representative claimed we owed $2,[redacted].40, contradicting our statement of $1,[redacted].27. They insisted we visit their office in Boston with documentation. When I requested to speak to a Supervisor, someone named Dave advised stopping payment on the check and paying cash at a kiosk. Customer service labelled this a scam, but the call appeared to be from an Eversource number. I captured the Caller ID. Concerns whether there might be fraudulent activity within Eversource arise.

I paid both the electric and gas bills through electronic funds transfer on December 15th. I did not receive the usual receipt confirmation, so I contacted customer service and spoke with Felicia. She assured me that the payment went through and confirmed it on her screen. However, the funds have not been deducted from my account yet. The account number is 1[redacted] under the name Yahya Salim. I am Michelle G., an authorized person on the account. I have been addressing a fraudulent charge on my account for the past month. Despite spending hours on the phone with Eversource, I have not received any resolution. I was promised a packet to document the fraud but have not received it after a week. I need the false hit on my credit removed and the perpetrator held accountable. I was assured I would receive instructions on filing a police report, but I have not received them. I am trying to locate my utility bill for [redacted] Cranberry Highway, Lot 35, East Wareham, MA [redacted]. When I search, I keep finding bills for my previous address at [redacted] Rockland Street, New Bedford, MA [redacted]. The initial bill amount was over $[redacted]. I sold the Rockland St. house on 01/07/22 and requested the electric and gas accounts for the 1st floor to be discontinued on 1/14/22, as I moved to my new home. Funds to cover the Rockland St. utility bills were collected at the closing.
I believe I should have an electric bill for the new address at East Wareham, where only electric service is utilized. We closed on the new home on 1/14/22 and started living there on 1/16/22, so this period should constitute the bulk of the bill. Unfortunately, I do not have the account number handy.
Despite trying to get a callback from customer service by phone, I was disconnected twice after following the instructions. I am looking for an accurate bill for Rockland St. and the new account at [redacted] Cranberry Highway, Lot 35. If there are any issues with the utility payment from the Rockland St. closing, I may need to involve my attorney.

I'm experiencing issues with my Eversource account. Twice in the past two weeks, someone has attempted to log in and locked me out. I've called Eversource at 1-[redacted] twice, but was unable to speak to anyone. The first time, I waited for approximately 12 minutes before someone picked up but didn't speak. I stayed on the line for over 20 minutes in silence, hoping for assistance, but received none. After hanging up and calling again, I waited for nearly 30 minutes with the same result. Currently, I am connected to Eversource, but it's silent on the other end. I'm unsure if the lines are down or if there are representatives muting their end. I just need help unlocking my account to access my bills.

Seeking guidance regarding a concerning tree situation by a utility pole on our property. The precarious tree requires professional attention, as it is leaning dangerously close to the pole, its top also tangled with nearby trees. Situated approximately 40-50 ft uphill from our driveway, the tree's base currently rests on a newly cut stump, elevated about 4 ft from the ground. Due to losing my job, I'm unable to make my upcoming payment which is due on the 12th for my arrangement, followed by my mortgage payment on the 13th. I was able to have my service reconnected the day after it was disconnected due to non-payment. My bill had grown to $[redacted] because I was unknowingly still paying for a previous address I had not closed. After reaching out on social media and contacting the CEO, I was contacted by an executive customer service representative who promptly turned my service back on. As a disabled army veteran, I believe my service should not have been interrupted in the first place. Going forward, I will be making monthly on-time payments, and after 12 months, they will forgive the outstanding balance. It seems like everything has worked out positively for me.
