I noticed that my annual subscription was mistakenly charged twice, and I recently discovered that $10.66 has been deducted from my bank account each month since April, despite paying annually without interruption. I have reached out to support and will explore other communication channels. I did make a single in-app purchase in July for $2.29, but this does not justify the monthly charges. I expect a refund of $42.64 as I value using Duolingo and hope for a resolution.

I have reached out for help numerous times in the past week regarding my Duolingo French account. Despite having maintained a [redacted]-day streak and earning thousands of lingots, my account currently shows only 6. This discrepancy is preventing me from accessing the fourth level of Legendary, as it requires 10 lingots to progress. I am eager to continue learning on Duolingo, and I am puzzled by the sudden decrease in my lingot count. Upon checking my notifications, I can see that in the past week (days [redacted] to [redacted]), I accumulated a total of [redacted] lingots. I kindly request that you investigate this issue, correct my lingot count from day 1 to day [redacted], and allow me to continue my language learning journey. I have been studying French with Duo for years now. Upon completing Unit [redacted], I realized the lessons do not advance to Unit [redacted]. While attempting the legend challenge, I made mistakes leading to a deduction of my "lingots." At 77 years old, learning French keeps my mind active, even if fluency is not my goal. I enjoy the challenges but wish to avoid losing my "lingots." With nearly [redacted] amassed, I seek guidance on accessing Unit [redacted] and moving forward without forfeiting my progress. I hope for assistance to ensure I can continue my language learning journey beyond Unit [redacted]. Your prompt response would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, my name is Sofia Mora Leiva. A couple of weeks ago, I started using Duolingo and I really liked it. I wanted to pay MONTHLY as it is a more economical option for me. Today, I had a medical appointment outside my city, and my husband made a deposit of [redacted] colones, the currency of Costa Rica, to cover my expenses. While on my way to the other city, I received an email and a text message informing me that Duolingo had deducted [redacted] colones from my card and then another [redacted] colones, leaving my account with only [redacted] colones. I did not want to pay for a year of Duolingo. This payment was made without my consent, and I am extremely worried because I need that money. The Duolingo account is linked to the email [redacted], and the payment was made through the Play Store using my other email, [redacted] I hope you can assist me with this issue.

Hello, I recently completed level 7 and noticed that I didn't have to go through the check point as expected. I am wondering if this is a new feature or if it's because my daughter used my phone to complete the very last check point. Since her completion, my score hasn't increased at check point 7. If possible, could you undo all the lessons starting from 8 onwards to potentially fix the issue? Also, could you confirm if the number 26 on the score bar represents my actual progress level? I noticed today that the charge for my Super Duolingo subscription is supposed to begin today. I had expected the trial to end around October 29th but did not receive the two-day advanced notice as promised. I have tried to cancel my subscription through both the Play Store and the app, but was unsuccessful. This morning, I noticed a discrepancy in my progress on Duolingo. I was incorrectly shown as being at unit 74 when I had actually completed unit 10. Could you kindly adjust my progress to reflect that I am at unit 10 instead of 74? My streak and leaderboard stats remain accurate, but there seems to be an issue with the unit numbering. I am learning Spanish and would like to continue from unit 10, not 74. I believe this may be a bug on Duolingo's end. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Thank you, Joshua

I signed up for Duolingo Plus for 14 days, and on the 12th day, the first attempt to charge me was made. I immediately tried to cancel the subscription, but encountered an error that redirected me to Google Play, indicating, "Error, subscription not found." Despite this, the subscription continued to show up in the app, and for almost 20 days, the app has been trying to charge me twice a day. How can I resolve this issue?

Dear Duolingo, I have been using the French course on your platform daily for 3 years and I love how simple and accessible it is. The ability to practice whenever and wherever on my phone has been fantastic. I particularly enjoyed the review feature with the "cracked" circles and being able to correct my last 10 mistakes through images. The app's interface always made it clear where I left off, and the system was straightforward to navigate. After a recent trip to France where I noticed significant improvement in my language skills, I returned home excited to continue learning with Duolingo. However, the new learning path has left me confused. Despite reaching Unit 80, newer content is marked as completed in yellow, causing unnecessary frustration. The word "Start" appearing halfway through Unit [redacted] is also misleading. I kindly request these issues be rectified promptly so that my learning progress is accurately reflected. While practicing Spanish on Duolingo today, the app underwent an automatic update that completely changed its format. The update merged the stories into the practice sessions, which I find limiting as I sometimes prefer activities focused only on listening and writing. The new single pathway is also frustrating since it restricts user freedom and requires excessive scrolling to access levels without clear labels. I have been using Duolingo for over [redacted] days and strongly dislike the recent update due to its childish appearance. Is there a way to revert the app back to its previous format? I did not intentionally initiate this update; it occurred unexpectedly during my practice session.

August [redacted] abonniert. Täglich werde ich aufgefordert, mein Profil zu erstellen, obwohl ich dieses Problem schon vor einigen Wochen hatte und meinen Französisch-Kurs unterbrechen musste. I'm feeling extremely frustrated with the new learning path. Despite my best efforts, I find it challenging to use. There are several reasons why I dislike it. Firstly, it doesn't specify the type of lesson (e.g., restaurant). Secondly, I have to pay [redacted] gems for only a small amount of a legendary. Additionally, I'm halfway through my course, and the progress tracking isn't clear to me. I struggle with change, as it triggers my anxiety. This morning I had a panic attack. I am experiencing issues with my Duolingo account. I paid for the first test, but they did not certify it, claiming I cheated and subsequently blocked my account. I created a new account, paid for the test again, submitted it, but received an email stating I cannot take the test on any account due to the previous block. I did not cheat; external noise and poor internet affected my first attempt. I am stressed as the school awaits my Duolingo results. I am willing to pay and retake the test. My family has had a Duolingo family account with my daughters and husband for nearly two years. After being upgraded to the "new look" last week, I faced challenges with the timed portions of each lesson. With [redacted] days of continuous lessons, I am struggling to complete them within the time limit, which is causing frustration. Being almost 70 years old, I find it difficult to type quickly enough. I am contemplating quitting due to this issue. I have encountered a questionable user on Duolingo who seems to be using a cheating bot to inflate their points rapidly. This individual appeared in my leaderboard out of nowhere and escalated their points significantly within a few minutes, indicating suspicious activity. Their sudden rise from 0 to [redacted] points seems to be automated rather than earned legitimately. I believe that such behavior undermines the fair competition and discourages genuine efforts to improve. Addressing this issue promptly is essential to maintain the integrity of the platform.

I recently started learning Norwegian using your app and everything was going well. I was enjoying my progress until I left my phone for an hour. When I returned, the app now looks like a Candy Crush map. I've lost control over what I learn and can't revisit lessons for better understanding. I searched for "Duolingo update" to find out if others were having the same issue, and it turns out many are. Even teaching professionals find the new layout undesirable. No one requested this update, and no one likes it. Why don't you listen to the people who support you? Many are unhappy, and your responses on TikTok are unprofessional. Please consider your customers who have helped you succeed.

Hello, I have the Super Duolingo English subscription which I paid approximately €94 for in September [redacted]. Today, I am on module 44, and I am stuck. There are no additional modules, no more lessons. I can only do some revisions for 5 xp each time!!!! Aren't there more lessons? I would like to continue because I enjoy Duolingo. I am frustrated with this situation! I purchased a year of Super Duolingo for $83, but it's not showing up on my app. It keeps prompting me for a free trial, even though I've already paid. I urgently need this problem resolved! During a chat, the agent mentioned I could receive assistance for a $1 fee, which seemed reasonable. However, when I tried to pay, they asked for $47 instead. This is unacceptable considering I've already paid $83 for a service I can't access!

I have been playing this game for [redacted] days now, and it is the best app I have ever used. I did not have high expectations when I first found it, but it has exceeded them. However, there is one issue that has been bothering me. As someone who cares deeply about this app, I made a commitment to maintain a streak without using any streak freezes. Everything was going well until day [redacted] when I missed a lesson by just two minutes. This might seem small, but it is really important to me, and missing it has made me feel quite down. I tried reaching out to another Duolingo email, but it appears to be fake as I have not received any response. I have seen people on Twitter getting their streaks repaired and days added by Duolingo, and I am wondering if this is real because I really need it. Please...
