I own a [redacted] Jeep Grand Cherokee purchased from Airdrie Dodge in Airdrie, Alberta. I brought it in for an oil change on August 24, as I always get services there since I bought it. During the visit, I was informed that the Rear Brakes/Rotors were close to needing replacement. I agreed to have them replaced and was scheduled for an appointment on Tuesday, August 27. The price given was around $[redacted]. On Monday, August 28, I decided to also replace the front brakes and spark plugs. I never received an estimate for this additional work. Despite this, I brought in my Jeep as scheduled on Tuesday. Surprisingly, when I received the bill, it totaled $[redacted].73. I was taken aback by the unexpected cost. Had I known the total price in advance, I would have reconsidered having the front brakes and spark plugs replaced.

I have a [redacted] Dodge Charger, and my radio is not functioning correctly. The service department informed me that the screen is delaminating and needs replacement, which is estimated to be just under $[redacted]. Considering my car is only slightly over two years old, I believe the screen should last longer, at least ten years or more. I am hoping Dodge can assist me with this issue. Spending $[redacted] on a radio repair for a vehicle that serves as my primary transportation at 62 years old seems excessive. A normal car radio should last 15 to 20 years; would a new radio be guaranteed for at least three more years? Thank you, James B. Page

I have a [redacted] Dodge Ram [redacted] with a factory trailer brake system. Unfortunately, the system is not working properly, and I am unable to replace it with an aftermarket version due to restrictions from the factory system. I need to pick up a load of sand that requires trailer brakes, but I cannot get through to the service department. An aftermarket trailer brake system would be a solution, as it should still apply the brakes when needed, unlike the current system that is not recognizing the trailer connection or sending power to the brakes.

My [redacted] Dodge Journey started overheating, and I took it to Southfork Dodge in Pearland, Texas. Unfortunately, the customer service I received was far from great. I initially brought in my car in late August for overheating issues, and they replaced the fan and radiator, costing me $[redacted]. Just two weeks later, the car started overheating again on September 4th. They admitted fault, stating it was a faulty fan, and ordered a new one, promising it would be ready by 4:30 on a Friday. However, after not hearing from them all day, I called around 4:45 to check on the status. They said the car was ready, but as I was about to return my rental and Uber over, they called back to say the car was still overheating. This led to further issues and attempts to persuade me to buy a new car instead of providing adequate service. It has been over two weeks, and despite promises, I have yet to receive a loaner car or resolution. As a female customer, I felt taken advantage of and had to bring male support to finally address the situation. My car remains in their shop, and the lack of proper service and integrity from Southfork Dodge is completely unacceptable.

I purchased my [redacted] Dodge Dart from State Line Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge on 103rd Street in Kansas City, MO in [redacted], and I have been facing issues with the car and the dealership since then. Shortly after getting the car, I experienced problems with power delivery to the engine and transmission in auto stick mode. Despite multiple attempts to address this under warranty, the dealership claimed there was nothing wrong. They only acknowledged slight front end damage near the sensors after the warranty expired, using it as an excuse to avoid repairs. The dealership has been reluctant to cover warranty repairs and only address issues at cost once warranties are expired. My windshield cracked, and despite having windshield protection, I had to fight for coverage. The dealership made me feel wrong for using my warranty when it was rightfully mine. Dealing with them for recalls has also been uncomfortable, making me anxious and prompting the need for medication. I want the dealership to fulfill their responsibilities, provide proper repairs covered under warranty, and treat customers with respect. Their pressure sales tactics and neglect of customer concerns are concerning. I am exploring legal options due to the ongoing issues with my car. I hope to prevent others from experiencing similar mistreatment at this dealership. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Chasma Frey.

I purchased a Dodge Ram [redacted] truck from Crowne Dodge in Ventura, CA last month. At the time of purchase, I was assured of receiving floor mats; however, they were missing when I obtained the truck. Despite reaching out to the dealer by email (Johnny, my salesman) and leaving voicemails for Terri Vasquez, I have not received a response. I specifically chose this dealership based on high recommendations, and I would appreciate it if the missing floor mats could be sent to me promptly.

I have a Dodge Charger RT [redacted] with AC climate issues. I recently sent my car to the wrap shop, where they disconnected the battery. Since then, I have been experiencing several problems with the car computer, including: 1. Inaccurate fuel range readings. 2. Increased fuel consumption. 3. Reduced maximum fuel range. 4. Ineffective AC cooling. 5. Malfunctioning air circulation button. 6. AC automatically adjusting from maximum to 20 CC. I am unsure if there is a way to reset or reboot the car computer. If anyone has any advice on how to address these issues, I would appreciate it.

I recently bought a [redacted] Dodge Nitro a week ago. After fueling up twice, I noticed gas spills from the tank when the pump shuts off. I found out this was a common issue with Nitros and Jeep Libertys from 07 and 08, with only the Liberty being recalled by Dodge. Some Nitros had their gas tanks replaced by Dodge due to this problem. It is concerning as it poses a fire and environmental risk. Chrysler and Dodge should issue a recall for the faulty gas tanks on all affected Dodge Nitros promptly.

I own a [redacted] Dodge Charger RT. Recently, I took it to a wrap shop and it seems they disconnected the battery. Now, I'm experiencing some issues with the car's computer system. The problems include: - Inaccurate fuel range display - Increased fuel consumption - Fuel range showing only half of the normal range - Lack of cooling from the AC - Air circulation button not functioning properly, air only comes from the vent - AC resetting from maximum to 20 degrees Celsius on its own. I'm not sure if there's a way to reset or reboot the car's computer. If anyone has any advice on how to address these issues, I would greatly appreciate it.

I did not choose the car and did not even see any vehicles until the salesman instructed the lot attendant to bring a specific VIN number. The [redacted] Dodge Journey SXT is very basic with no Bluetooth or XM radio. I need my phone for work, and it's risky to use it while driving. I thought the car had Uconnect, but it turns out it doesn't. The lack of safety features is surprising considering the high base price of over $29,[redacted] as per the sticker. Despite going back to the dealership multiple times to address these issues, the salesman promised to look into it but never followed up. I am extremely disappointed with Dodge and the lack of communication and customer service. I plan to share my experience with others to inform them about the dealership's misleading claims of being customer-friendly.

I currently own a [redacted] Dodge Ram [redacted] 4-door 4WD that I purchased or ordered back in [redacted]. It now has [redacted],[redacted] miles on it. The issue I am facing is that the entire front end is extensively rusted, and I need to replace both axles, upper and lower ball joints, and tie rod ends. These problems were only identified during a recent brake job and maintenance inspection. I live near Martinsville and would appreciate if a representative from Gunther Dodge dealership could inspect my truck. Throughout the years, I have diligently maintained and cared for my truck, so the condition of the front end concerns me. I hope to have someone assess the situation and provide guidance.

I recently bought a [redacted] Ram Limited in Birmingham, AL through the employee program. I paid in cash despite the dealership's preference for financing. However, I haven't received the snaps for the front carpet. I've had no luck resolving this issue with Dodge dealerships in Decatur and Athens, AL. The manager at the Decatur dealership even told me not to return. Additionally, Landers McClarty in Huntsville, AL wrongly accused us of stealing services due to a billing error. We agreed to pay, but requested proof, which was never provided. Now, I have an engine light on and I've lost trust in the dealerships in my area. I'm looking for a reliable place to service my vehicle without any further complications. Any suggestions on where I can go for service?

Hello, I bought a used [redacted] Challenger R/T Plus Shaker with a manual transmission from an out-of-state dealer less than a year ago. I'm experiencing difficulty changing gears and the transmission going into neutral unexpectedly. I've visited multiple Dodge dealerships and transmission specialists, but no one has been able to resolve the issues. The problems include resistance when shifting gears, difficulties getting out of gear, and grinding in 2nd gear. I really enjoy driving the car but these issues are making it dangerous and frustrating. I want the transmission repaired or replaced to make the car enjoyable to drive again. I've explored various options but haven't found a solution yet. If necessary, I'm willing to cover the costs of repairs, but I hope to have this addressed under warranty. Thank you for your assistance. Best regards, J.R.

I'm experiencing some concerning issues with my stick shift. Sometimes there's resistance when shifting gears, making it hard to get out of gear even with the clutch fully depressed. This can be especially dangerous in traffic. Additionally, there are noticeable "notches" or bumps when shifting, particularly between 1st and 3rd gear, and reverse also feels resistant. In some cases, I experience grinding or being pushed out of 2nd gear if I don't navigate through all the notches correctly when releasing the clutch. These problems are worrisome, especially when driving in traffic.

I bought a [redacted] Dodge Ram [redacted], and within [redacted] miles, the dealership had to replace the valve lifters. We always rely on Locomotive Dodge to maintain our vehicles for optimal performance and longevity. Recently, I noticed a knocking sound in the engine, but the dealer claimed there was no issue. When discussing it with a friend, we discovered the air filter was saturated with oil. The service advisor confirmed the filter hadn't been checked during the recent oil change, even though it was marked as not needing service on the checklist. I have a photo of the oil-soaked air filter. I reached out to the service advisor via email with these concerns, but he has yet to respond to why the filter wasn't inspected or why it was oily.

My [redacted] Ram [redacted] is experiencing a broken exhaust manifold bolt. I have noticed the noise for a few weeks and had it inspected by my mechanic. I reached out to Ram in Cape Coral FL, but they mentioned my powertrain warranty expired on 11/26/[redacted], and I would be responsible for the repair costs. Customer service advised me to wait for a diagnosis from Ram before further assistance. As this is our only vehicle, the repair cost is a concern. The bolt broke while the vehicle was still under warranty, but I was unaware until now. I am hoping for an exception to have the repair covered under warranty. I have been the owner since 6/[redacted], which is less than 5 years. The VIN for my vehicle is 1C6RR6GT2FS559523. I appreciate any assistance in this matter. Thank you for considering my request.

Several [redacted] Ram truck owners have encountered a recurring issue with their windows slipping off the tracks, typically on the driver's side during colder weather. Despite the motor functioning initially, the window unexpectedly falls down after becoming warmer, even without being rolled down. This problem seems widespread among '16 models, with reports from various owners and acknowledgment from dealers. The redesigned track mechanism appears to be ineffective, leading to repeated incidents. The community is in need of a recall to address and resolve this persistent concern definitively.

Beware of Lenoir City Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in Lenoir City, TN. I've bought two vehicles totaling nearly $[redacted],[redacted] in the last eighteen months. The first purchase had issues with my Disabled Veteran Tag being torn, and the second, a [redacted] Challenger R/T, had factory paint damage. Despite getting the car repaired at their recommended body shop, the service was subpar. They created more problems like burning the paint with a buffer and removing the ceramic coating I had applied. The GM, Eduardo Martorell, and Service Manager, John Brown, were confrontational and denied any wrongdoing. They even kicked us off the property after we caught them in multiple lies. I advise choosing another dealer due to their poor workmanship, dishonesty, and unprofessional behavior. I'm requesting they cover the $[redacted].58 for damages but have faced resistance. Be cautious when dealing with this dealership.

Hello, this is Rick Isakson. I am experiencing a major issue with one of your dealerships. They are refusing to fix my headlight assembly unit, and I am frustrated with the run-around I am receiving. This is the second time I have had issues with the same problem on my truck, where moisture keeps getting in. I am tired of the insulting treatment and demand that it is either fixed or replaced. If this matter is not resolved, I will have to escalate it to the Better Business Bureau. My truck is only a year old, so it should not still be experiencing this recurring problem. Thank you.

I own a [redacted] Dodge with a 5.7 engine. After visiting multiple dealerships, I discovered a lifter problem. Despite the dealerships being aware, they refused to assist. I have receipts indicating my truck only has 92,[redacted] miles. I've been struggling with this issue since March, receiving no real solutions. Currently, my truck is located in Bay City, Texas. They notified me that my warranty expired on July 16. This issue started before the warranty expiration, but no one was willing to support me. Please contact me at [redacted]. My name is David R. I am in need of guidance to resolve this frustrating situation.
