I attempted to purchase 4 records on Discogs from a seller named nickf89, who goes by the name Nick Fuhler. After making an offer, he preferred a bank transfer over Discogs payment. I requested to use PayPal, but he insisted on being paid as a friend. Waiting nearly 2 months for the package sent with the cheapest postal service in Netherlands, I received a wrong and cheaper record with my name missing the surname. When I reached out, the seller insulted me and my country. Despite the seller having a [redacted]% feedback rate on Discogs, I believe it's important for others to know about this bad experience. The seller avoided Discogs and PayPal fees and saved money by sending the incorrect record. It's crucial for both Discogs and customers to be aware of these occurrences. Thank you.

My seller account has inexplicably been suspended, with no clear explanation provided. Despite maintaining excellent feedback and keeping all invoices paid, my account remains inaccessible. I have diligently communicated with customers and have reached out to the support team through various channels like the website, Facebook, and email, but have yet to receive a response. This sudden suspension is especially perplexing considering my clean track record as a member for 9 years. I urgently require assistance to resolve this issue promptly. Username: L.P.RECORDS Account email: [redacted] I sincerely hope for a resolution soon, as I am running out of solutions. Best regards, Lawrence O’shaughnessy

I placed an order with Rap Superstar on July 15, [redacted], under Order #[redacted]-[redacted]. I requested mailer insurance due to past issues with USPS and COVID-19 delays. The order is now over a month late with little communication from Rap Superstar. After negative feedback on Discogs, he accused me of being a scammer and has not refunded my payment or shipped the order. I have filed a claim with PayPal and contacted Discogs for assistance. Rap Superstar has sent a new invoice for the same item, which seems deceptive. His behavior has been unprofessional and manipulative, leading me to believe he is a scammer. Any help with this situation would be appreciated.

I purchased the Alice Cooper album "Love It To Death" from Ophelia H. The one I received with his finger through his zipper on the Straight label was not what I had ordered, which should have been the one with the airbrushed image on the Warner Brothers label. Ophelia asked me to return the album for a reimbursement. I shipped it via USPS with tracking number #LH[redacted]74US, which arrived in France on September 6. After contacting Ophelia and receiving no response, I filed a complaint. Her reply stated she had been in the hospital and hadn't checked with the carrier. When I contacted her again with the correct carrier information, she claimed not to have received the package and suggested I contact UPS. I clarified that the package was sent through USPS on September 20, not UPS. The item was confirmed delivered in France on August 4, [redacted], but I have yet to hear back from Ophelia to resolve the issue.

Hello, I have encountered an issue with an online DVD purchase. After placing an order and receiving an invoice, the vendor claims they have not received payment. I realized through a website message that the payment was not processed by my credit card company since 10/5/20. To resolve this, I believe canceling the existing order and placing a new one might be the best solution. Due to limited access to my email during the pandemic, I kindly request responses through this platform or via text at [redacted]. Thank you, Greg.

I recently purchased a record and although I have a track record of over [redacted] positive reviews, my recent experience was disappointing. I ordered a $40 record but received a $2.00 record instead. The seller refused to issue a refund, and the shipping cost to return the incorrect record is around $50. After opening a PayPal case, they are covering the return shipping costs. I provided truthful negative feedback for the seller's oversight, and in return, I received retaliatory negative feedback in a foreign language falsely claiming I refused to return the item. I had to escalate this through PayPal, as it was the seller's responsibility to send the correct item. Despite my accurate feedback being removed, the seller's misleading comments remain. It's frustrating to be in such a situation as a buyer who promptly paid for the item. This experience has left me feeling unfairly targeted and confused.

Hello, It is very unfriendly towards members to suddenly change the log-in process on discogs.com without warning. The "Google Authenticator" does not work on all devices! Now I have to get rid of my iPad with iOS 10.3.4 because the "Google Authenticator" requires iOS 11 to function properly. Great job, discogs.com.

Hello, I have reached out to your other support but unfortunately did not receive helpful assistance. I have been a loyal customer for many years and have spent a significant amount. The response I received suggested opening a new account, which is not a suitable solution. I am experiencing issues receiving password reset emails and need help resolving this issue. I want to regain access to my account with all my purchase history and ongoing communication. I have tried multiple times to no avail. Your regular technical support should have resolved this, but I am not receiving any emails. Thank you for your assistance. - D.

Firstly, I must address some issues with your service. I was unable to contact you directly and was directed to tech support, which was not ideal as it would incur a $5 fee. The problem I am facing with the app pertains to the folders feature. I have numerous LPs that I do not wish to sell, along with [redacted] 45rpms that require sorting due to previous errors on my part. The folders are crucial for me to display my collection to potential buyers and keep track of my inventory accurately. However, I am encountering issues where my 45rpms are being mixed into the LP list incorrectly with some duplicates showing up. This disrupts my ability to manage my collection effectively. As a dedicated collector, I find this situation quite frustrating. Regards, K.

I have encountered ongoing issues with a buyer on Discogs who also sells under the username mc2--mc5. The order number in question is #[redacted]-[redacted]. In the "Additional Instructions" section of the order, he requested that I send the item to an address different from the one provided by PayPal, which goes against their policy. Despite his insistence, I correctly sent it to the verified address. The responsibility lies with the buyer to provide the correct address, not for me to conform to unverified instructions. The buyer demands reimbursement for sending it to the alternate address, which I rightfully declined. Threats were made to involve Discogs and PayPal, along with leaving negative feedback. A case was opened for non-receipt of the item, but the USPS tracking number, [redacted][redacted]83, confirms delivery, leading to the case, PP-D-[redacted]81, being dismissed in my favor. Subsequently, he left unwarranted negative feedback, to which I responded clarifying the situation. Despite blocking him, further messages and emails persist, even after the negative feedback was left. This erratic behavior is causing undue distress and continues without resolution.

I purchased a 7" disc on January 21st with the ID [redacted] - David Bowie/Beauty and the Beast. The sleeve was described as VG+, but it arrived in 'fair' condition with colored pen marks on the reverse side. Being new to Discogs, I decided to leave neutral feedback instead of negative. The seller then offered me 5 euros to change my feedback, which I declined to help future buyers. Unfortunately, the seller retaliated by leaving me negative feedback and now I am blocked from purchasing most records. I am considering returning to eBay where I typically spend around 1k per month. I hope to see the seller held responsible for their actions, but I am having difficulty finding assistance through the help pages on the website.

Dear discogs team member, I have received several threatening emails regarding order #[redacted]-23 from arnold.wolfhard. This is the 3rd or 4th time I have received such a notification. I want to highlight that I am a prompt payer, as evidenced by my reviews. In this specific case, I made the payment just hours after the purchase was made. The seller, arnold.wolfhard, mentioned that the item was shipped promptly, and any delay in status update was accidental. I believe contacting the seller directly would help clarify the situation rather than resorting to threats of cancellation and negative ratings. I urge the Discogs team to reconsider their approach and communicate with sellers before taking any drastic actions. It is important to acknowledge reliable and trustworthy buyers like me to maintain a positive marketplace environment. Best regards, Juergen

Hello, I purchased an album and made payment via bank transfer on Wednesday. I recently received a message from Discogs regarding shipping costs for order #[redacted] from vinylcorner. The message states that if payment is not made within 1 day, the order will be canceled and negatively reviewed due to "Buyer not paying." This situation is causing unnecessary stress as international bank transfers take time to process. Both the seller and I believe the bank transfer will be completed by Monday at the earliest, possibly Tuesday. I am concerned about Discogs threatening to cancel the order prematurely when the payment is still in transit. How can we prevent or address this issue? Best regards, Michael

Hello, I am reaching out regarding a matter with Discogs canceling my order. I received a notification from Discogs last Saturday regarding the order #[redacted] with vinylcorner. I want to make it clear that the payment for this order was initiated via international bank transfer. Due to the nature of bank transfers, the payment process might take a few days. I want to assure you that the payment was sent on Wednesday, and it should reflect in your system by Monday or possibly with a slight delay on Tuesday. I kindly request that the cancellation of order #[redacted] be halted. I appreciate your understanding and prompt attention regarding this issue. Best regards, Michael

I ordered 2 items with VG+ grading, but they arrived with 3 deep scratches on each side of each record. I initiated a return within 5 days of receiving the items, but the seller is insisting that the return must be received within 7 days of my receipt. Their return policy states that all return requests will be denied after 7 days from receipt, yet I am trying to return the items within this timeframe and they are still refusing. The seller even mentioned leaving me negative feedback for not complying with their policy. It seems like they are confused about their own return policy. Order #[redacted]-[redacted]

I regret to hear about the mix-up with the order from LonelyTheLovely. I placed an order for The Human Beinz-Golden Album, order number [redacted], and experienced delays in receiving it. My former assistant left a negative rating without my knowledge, which has since been removed. I recently apologized to LonelyTheLovely for any misunderstanding. The delay may have been due to the pandemic, as the record arrived late. I value my reputation as a long-time LP buyer and seller with a history of positive feedback on platforms like GOLDMINE and eBay. The negative rating affected a recent transaction on Discogs, where a seller refused to do business with me. I am eager to have my negative rating removed as well, as it does not reflect my usual experiences as a buyer. I appreciate LonelyTheLovely’s efforts in resolving the issue and am open to clarifying any misunderstandings. Thank you.

Hello Discogs Customer Service, I am reaching out to request the removal of the notice I keep receiving about my order under the number #[redacted]-[redacted] for Discothèque. I've been in touch with the seller, Gino, multiple times regarding this order. I'm patiently waiting for an updated invoice to be able to proceed with the payment via PayPal as a guest using my credit card. Gino has been attempting to provide me with the correct link without success. I have suggested to Gino that he cancels the order if he encounters difficulties sending the guest link, but he asked for some more time, and I agreed. I would like to clarify that I have a [redacted]% positive feedback and want to ensure the seller knows my willingness to pay once the invoice is received. I appreciate your support in addressing this matter promptly. Thank you, R. DiBartolomeo

I made a purchase on Discogs from the UK. I paid for the item, shipping costs, and VAT in the Netherlands. However, when the package arrived, the seller did not indicate that VAT was already paid, so I had to pay VAT again when collecting the package in the Netherlands. I contacted the seller about this issue, but was surprised to receive a response saying that solving this problem is my responsibility because selling on Discogs is just a hobby for them. The order number on Discogs is #[redacted]-[redacted].

Hello, I am raising an issue regarding a purchase from "RADIATIONRECORDS." This buyer acquired 7 LPs and 7 EPs from me, requesting a substantial discount which I agreed to. I shipped the items in two packages, one for LPs and the other for EPs. Upon receiving the LP package, the buyer informed me that it arrived heavily damaged. I responded asserting my usual professional and durable packaging practices, expressing surprise at the complaint. The buyer insisted on sending pictures of the damage, mentioning concerns about packaging quality. They implied ongoing issues with my shipments and suggested I improve my packaging for future transactions. The buyer has a history of similar complaints with other sellers like "bluesrocker15" who confirmed his pattern of seeking discounts through negative feedback. I was advised by "bluesrocker15" and others to report the buyer's behavior to Discogs to prevent further incidents. I urge you to address this matter promptly. Thank you for your attention. Best regards, [redacted]
