Detroit News Customer Service Issues

I reside at Woodlake Hills apartments with my daughter and girlfriend. Our air conditioning stopped working, and after reporting it, the maintenance person mentioned at 4 PM that they forgot to report it with a nonchalant attitude. This same worker previously worked on my water heater during the winter, which broke a few days later, leaving us without hot water for 12-14 hours. As a result, my daughter has been enduring 83° temperatures all week, especially now during the 4th of July week. They promised to refund us if we purchased fans, but today informed me that the money used for fans will be deducted from my rent instead. They suggested I cover the cost for a hotel, which they will reimburse by adjusting my rent, or wait until tomorrow to order a new compressor, leaving us without AC possibly until next week.
