Hello! I recently visited the Del Taco located at [redacted] Rosedale Hwy. in Bakersfield, CA at 1:07 am. Although the drive-thru is advertised as being open 24 hours, I observed caution signs for mopping on the floor. After parking, I noticed an employee inside wearing a headset. When we approached the door, the lights suddenly turned off. Additionally, there were people in cars waiting in the employee parking area and the back door, facing the traffic, was wide open. This seemed suspicious to me, especially considering it is a franchise. I believe the owner should be informed about this situation, as it not only affects sales but also raises concerns about unusual activity. Thank you.

While recovering from a hospital stay, my husband used a buy one, get one free coupon for a wet burrito at Del Taco and was charged over $12. I've been busy with doctor appointments and haven't had a chance to address this. Today, with the receipt in hand, I visited the location but was told the issue was not in their system. I felt dismissed and concerned about the lack of compassion, especially given my recent health struggles. I am disappointed as Del Taco was my go-to spot. I'm wondering how to escalate this and speak to someone more experienced than the young employee who couldn't help me today.

Today, on November 22, [redacted], at 12:55 pm, I visited store #[redacted]. While at the drive-thru window, I noticed a makeshift tip jar attached to the window ledge. I was surprised by this as I didn't expect Del Taco to be a tipping fast food establishment. The presence of the tip jar felt unprofessional to me, and I believe that employees should not be soliciting tips from customers. If there are concerns about wages, they should be addressed with Del Taco Corporation directly, not through customers. I feel uncomfortable with this practice and it detracts from my experience as a customer. It would be appreciated if you could clarify the company's policy on tipping and ensure that such behavior is addressed with the staff and management. I value being a loyal customer and hope that this issue can be resolved promptly. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Yesterday evening on 2-21-19, my son visited the drive-thru and ordered a fiesta pack, specifically asking for no lettuce on the tacos and that the onions and sauce be on the side. However, when he received the order, the tacos had lettuce and the burritos had sauce. Despite him clarifying the order with the cashier, the mistake was not corrected. Additionally, he was charged $49.99 on his debit card instead of the correct amount. I have tried calling multiple times and left messages but have not received a response yet. This is very frustrating, and I hope to have this issue resolved promptly.

I had a disappointing experience at the drive-thru located at [redacted] Collegiate Way #[redacted] in Orlando, Florida. After ordering at 12 o'clock, I received my son's food first. However, I then waited for 20 minutes in the Drive-Thru only to find out that not all of our order was there when I checked. I spoke to the manager, Cynthia, and showed her the receipt indicating missing items. I requested a replacement for my son's cold hamburger which she refused. After an additional 10 minutes, I finally received my complete order. Cynthia, the manager who assisted me, was very rude and hostile. This was my first and last visit to this restaurant, and I do not recommend it to anyone due to the unfair treatment I received during my visit.

I visited the Del Taco on North McCarren in Reno, Nevada with my coworker. We requested to do two small separate transactions but were denied. The employee at the window was unfriendly and there was a tall intimidating young woman who glared at us. Inside, the cashier made a comment about us checking everyone and the manager seemed indifferent. The staff's behavior made me feel like I was in high school instead of a professional environment. I refrained from complaining to the manager, who appeared overwhelmed by the aggressive actions of the young female employees. I've been a customer for years and have never experienced such treatment. The cashier even threw away our receipts, preventing me from identifying the manager. Other customers also seemed upset. I hope the management addresses this behavior to maintain the restaurant's reputation.

I had a disappointing experience at the Chino Hills Del Taco. The cashier was rude when I asked for a refund due to the long wait for my order. The supposed manager did not refund my $2.16, which is not the issue, but rather the lack of respect shown. The associate's rudeness was uncalled for, and the manager did not address this behavior appropriately. I believe in the customer always being right, but respect should go both ways. I am not interested in arguing, especially with someone who seems unfit for their job. I would appreciate a call back to address the refund and understand why such behavior is tolerated in your establishment. This experience made me question the choice of employees representing the Del Taco brand, as one individual's attitude can drive customers away.

Hi there, I recently visited Del Taco in Lebec, CA and had an issue with my order. I paid in cash but realized I was short-changed after leaving. I contacted the store right away and spoke with the manager on duty to explain. A week later, Alicia, the General Manager, informed me they had reviewed the tape and discovered an employee stealing from the register. They assured me a full refund and a gift card for the inconvenience. Despite this promise from Alicia, named Nora Bohigian, I have not received any resolution over a month later. If this isn't resolved soon, I may need to consider legal action or social media for assistance. Thank you.

I visited your website to provide feedback but encountered issues with the comment section, as the boxes kept turning red. An odd request for two emails was also noted. At Del Taco #[redacted], when I placed Order #81 at 5:24 PM, I waited as the line seemed stuck behind the speaker box with no cars ahead. Upon questioning, I was informed they were waiting for the person at the speaker to finish their order. Despite previous experiences of being told to wait, this time no one was ordering ahead, only behind the speaker. The lane post-speaker is for customers who have ordered, but this system wasn't followed. Slow service tainted the meal experience, leading me to discard half of it. The manager, possibly Brandy, didn't acknowledge any delay and attributed it to the preceding customer. In my view, there was a lack of attention, possibly due to the demanding nature of the job. Clarifications or implementing a camera to monitor the drive-thru may enhance efficiency. Thank you.

I have been a loyal Del Taco fan for many years. Unfortunately, the closest location to my home in Chula Vista, CA [redacted] closed down a few years ago. Now, I have to visit one of the two locations in San Diego to enjoy your menu.
Today, I dined at the Del Taco at [redacted] B St., San Diego (Store #[redacted]) around 3:04 pm. The service and food were great, as always. However, I noticed some immediate issues that need correcting:
1) The AC was not functioning properly, affecting both customers and workers.
2) The fire exit door was not clearly marked, making it hard to identify as an exit.
3) When I tried to open the door, it was jammed and required excessive force to open.
4) One of the bathrooms was locked due to a faulty lock, rendering it unusable until repaired.
These repairs are urgent, especially the fire exit door situation may violate fire codes. Regular inspections of the bathrooms are necessary to avoid costly penalties for ADA violations.
I hope this feedback helps improve the operation of this busy location.
Best regards,
L.V.

I visited the only Del Taco in Cedar City, Utah, and used the drive-thru. Unfortunately, after receiving my order and driving off, I realized that 4 chicken tacos and a medium fry were missing. When I informed the staff, the initial worker seemed dismissive. When the manager got involved, her attitude was rude, insisting the missing items were in the bag. After some back and forth, we finally received the tacos and fries, but the customer service left much to be desired. To add to the disappointment, my cali burrito arrived with tomatoes despite my request for none, which is a problem for my health.

I frequently drive past the Del Taco in Yucca Valley, California, hoping to grab breakfast before work since they advertise opening at 6 AM. However, most mornings, they don't actually open until 7 AM. I've tried speaking with the morning manager about this issue, but she has been consistently rude and dismissive. In addition to the inconsistent opening times, the food has been arriving cold lately, and the staff seem careless about preparing orders correctly. It's frustrating to encounter such poor service and disregard for customer satisfaction. I only wish they would stick to their advertised opening time of 6 AM or at least update it to accurately reflect their 7 AM opening. Hopefully, my concerns can be addressed, or I may need to consider sharing my experience with others to bring attention to these ongoing issues.

I visited Del Taco about a week ago. While waiting for my food in a long line at the counter, I noticed the drive-thru was also busy. The general manager seemed preoccupied at the desk, possibly on the phone. Instead of helping the employees, she remained there. I observed her turning to the side and talking on the phone. It appeared she was not willing to assist her team, as she turned around and started questioning the delay in food preparation and drive-thru times, which seemed unfair to the hardworking staff. I believe a manager should support the team during busy times. This experience led me to decide not to eat at Del Taco anymore. I hope the situation improves at Olive Garden. It's concerning how the manager interacted with the young employees.

On two separate occasions on December 2, [redacted], I bought two $15 gift cards at the newly opened store in Phenix City, AL. Each time, the cashier seemed unaware of the coupon offer for purchasing a gift card. During the second purchase at the end of the day, the cashier claimed they were out of coupons. When I decided not to buy the gift card anymore, the cashier suddenly tried to find a coupon. It was frustrating to encounter this lack of knowledge about the specials on the menu boards. The disappointing part was that this happened twice with two different cashiers.

I need to report employee embezzlement at your Highland store, totaling approximately $[redacted],[redacted]. Both store managers ignored the issue: the lesser one was fired for missing deposit money, then sued and won over $[redacted],[redacted] for misappropriation of hours. I believe every past employee has grounds to file a claim against Del Taco. The situation involves my ex-girlfriend, dismissed for allegedly accepting a counterfeit $[redacted] bill, which was actually part of missing deposit money. I possess evidence including receipts she kept, totaling her shifts' earnings. The managers seem involved too, as they suddenly acquired new vehicles beyond their means. I reached out to the store manager and the franchisee's relative but received no help. This needs attention to prevent further theft and prosecute those responsible. I have no ulterior motive and want this addressed by corporate.

I placed an order on the Del Taco app at 5:00 AM on December 27, [redacted]. Right after ordering, I canceled it. When I visited the Del Taco location to inquire about the canceled order, they mentioned that it didn't appear on their screen and couldn't assist me. They suggested contacting corporate, which I did. The corporate team advised waiting 24 hours for a refund to show up on my card. However, it's been over 48 hours now, and I have yet to receive the refund. The order number I received is #[redacted]05. I am simply looking to get my money back.

Today, I visited Del Taco store #[redacted] for lunch. Unfortunately, the Iced Tea I ordered had a terrible smell. Upon returning after work to address this with the manager, I was met with reluctance. Despite my attempts to contact corporate, they were closed at the time. The manager's dismissive attitude towards me was disappointing and she refused to engage in a conversation, claiming to be too busy. I am disheartened by this treatment and would appreciate a call back from corporate to address this issue and hopefully improve the manager's customer service approach. I aim to inform others of my experience and may consider reaching out to the news if necessary.

I need assistance with my recent online order experience at Del Taco. My wife placed the order online instead of through the phone as advised. Unfortunately, the restaurant did not inform us that many items were out of stock. When we got to the location, they had no record of our order and were missing several menu items. They replaced our fries with chips easily but forgot our drinks even after a 15-minute wait. The order, scheduled for 8:04 pm, was not ready when we arrived at 8:30 pm. They also gave us the wrong items in our order of burritos. Despite trying to call three times, no one answered, and I am now seeking a refund. This disappointing experience at Del Taco will sadly be my first and last visit to this location.

We ordered a Fiesta Pack this evening at our local Drive-Thru. It's in Vancouver, WA at Hazel Dell on Highway 99. We were informed about an additional $3 charge to add onions to the 12 items. That's 25 cents per item! It seems unfair as I can buy a whole onion for less at a grocery store. What's more frustrating is receiving 35 hot sauce packets instead. I even called the store, but got no sympathy, just attitude. Can you believe it?

I contacted [redacted] on July 6th to address a health concern at the West Covina, CA location. Despite being told I would receive a call from the District Manager, I have not been contacted. I have proof of the incident with pictures and receipts. I am worried about my health and safety, especially during Covid-19, and feel uncomfortable visiting the location due to a possible retaliation. I do not wish for the employee, Ana, to face severe consequences but want her to understand the seriousness of her actions. I seek a response from the company to address this issue promptly. Thank you.
