During very hot temperatures like in the mid-90s, the indoor unit is set to 77 degrees with the remote, but the outside condensing unit doesn't turn off even when it cools down to below 66 degrees.
In more normal temperatures, between the upper 70s and mid 80s, the unit seems to run okay but there is a 4 to 5-degree difference between the remote setting and the actual room temperature. For instance, to reach 77 degrees in the room, the remote needs to be set at 91 or 92 for the condenser to shut off.
The issue gets more complicated as when the outdoor temperature surpasses 89 to 90 degrees, the condenser stays on and continues to cool without stopping. Even when it goes above 96 degrees outside, the condensing unit keeps cooling the room, causing the temperature to drop as low as 62 degrees without shutting off.
A new indoor head unit was installed, but it didn't solve the problem. I was advised to use a manually mounted hardwired thermostat, but later told it's not compatible with my unit. Adding insulation behind the head unit was suggested to protect it from attic heat, but even after installation, it didn't improve the unit's operation. I'm frustrated with the company's excuses and the additional expenses with no change in the unit's performance. Unsure of what else to try at this point.

I installed the split model#RK36NMVJU and FTX36NMVJU on 11/24/19. The units were functioning properly for 2 and a half weeks. However, now the outdoor unit is not turning on. Despite performing diagnostics and replacing the indoor PCB, the issue persists with no error codes displayed. Both units show normal LED lights. Before proceeding with replacing the outdoor PCB, I am seeking advice. Additionally, I measured the voltage between terminals 2 and 3, and it reads 15 volts.

Subject: Assistance Needed with Noisy A.C. Unit Purchased from TATA CLiQ in Vadodara
Dear Customer Service Team,
I recently acquired a new 0.8 T A.C. through TATA CLiQ, and I am experiencing a concerning issue with abnormal noise coming from the outdoor unit. Despite multiple service requests, the technicians dispatched to address the problem have been unsuccessful in resolving the issue adequately.
The outdoor unit produces irregular and disruptive noise only when the compressor activates, indicating a potential defect within the unit. I have attached an audio recording for your reference.
I kindly request your prompt assistance in either rectifying the problem effectively or arranging for a replacement of the unit.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Best regards,
D C Parekh
