To whom it may concern, I am encountering issues with my [redacted] Fleetwood RV, which has a 300HP Cummins Diesel engine and over 20,[redacted] miles. I was informed that a diesel engine would be more durable and powerful, yet I have experienced two breakdowns recently. The first incident occurred close to Christmas while traveling from Bradenton, Florida, to West Palm Beach due to an AC compressor failure. The part was unavailable causing a two-week delay. Currently, we are stuck in Freeport, Florida, because the DEF Doser pump failed, and the necessary part is also on backorder. This unfortunate situation has led to us missing important family gatherings, including my Father-in-law's 90th birthday in Connecticut. I am pondering if opting for a gas engine RV would have been a better choice.

Hello, I'm Kenneth T. I wanted to share how challenging my journey has been. As a disabled combat vet with PTSD, I found solace in driving trucks. I managed well in public, but struggled to make my VA appointments due to trucking schedules. Eventually, I saved up enough to buy an old [redacted] Freightliner with an 8.3 Cummins engine. After a significant investment to rebuild it, we encountered unexpected issues like a fuel pump failure in Nashville. The Cummins dealership quoted me $10,[redacted] for the pump, which was discouraging after the earlier rebuild expenses. Now, I'm facing financial strain and back to working for someone else. Despite the setbacks, I cherished my truck as it represented independence and hard work.

Good Morning,
I would like to address some serious concerns I have regarding the recent repairs done on my Cummins ISX engine. The repairs started on June 15th and were supposedly completed on June 25th. Despite the work done to address the Engine Light being on and the lack of engine power, the issue persisted immediately after picking up the vehicle from the Cummins service center in Dallas, TX. Prior to the repairs, the engine had trouble accelerating beyond 62 mph on flat ground and only reaching 38 mph uphill while carrying a 29,[redacted]-pound load on an empty flatbed. The total cost of the repairs exceeded $5,[redacted], and the problems remain unresolved despite the significant amount spent. It is crucial for my truck to be in proper working condition as downtime directly impacts my income. I reached out to Justin after the truck was returned and was informed that the same error codes were still present. I am seeking a resolution to this matter as soon as possible to ensure the initial complaints are adequately addressed. Thank you.

I have conducted research and discovered that Cummins acquired Onan Generators in the 1980s. I am currently collaborating with a friend on a full restoration project for a vintage 30kW Onan Generator unit. This particular generator belongs to the DGZ series and is powered by a Hercules 4-cylinder Diesel engine. As an industrial controls electrician, I have dedicated numerous hours to online research. While I have managed to locate most of the necessary documentation, I am facing a significant challenge— I am unable to find any wiring diagrams or schematic drawings for the generator, controls, or engine. Although I am not concerned about the engine aspect, I urgently require assistance in obtaining the drawings related to the generator. I am willing to make a purchase if needed. I kindly request your guidance or support in steering me towards the appropriate resources.
Generator Information:
Manufacturer: Onan
Model & Spec #: 30DZC-4R8, 1988G
Serial#: 103C734941
Generator Data #: 25DZC4N1B
Exciter#: 07SX1N1C
AC Voltage: [redacted]/[redacted]
Frequency: 60 (@ [redacted] RPM)
Phase: 3
Power Factor: 0.8.
