I used to be a member at Crunch Fitness in Arlington, Texas. The manager reached out to me via text weeks after I had canceled my membership. To my surprise, my personal trainer was no longer employed there, and I was not informed. Despite my request for no further communication, Dallas continued to text me, even after I asked him to stop. I requested a refund for unused services, but I was informed it was not possible. Dallas even texted me multiple times after I clearly stated not to contact me. The situation felt like harassment, especially since I had explicitly asked to be left alone. It is frustrating to have paid for 8 sessions that I now cannot use. I have lost trust in this gym due to their questionable practices and the way they have treated me.

I've had a frustrating experience with my club regarding my unused training sessions. I have 10 sessions remaining, but no trainer available. After facing misinformation, I was even told my sessions expired, which is not true. I requested a refund due to these issues. Unfortunately, my trainer left in April and mishandled the session allocations. I only received a partial refund of $[redacted]. I'm now left without anyone to train me at the San Dimas Crunch gym and would like a refund for the 10 sessions. Thank you, Denise B.

I signed up for a school partnership offering student memberships for $10 for the first month and $24.99 for the following months. I attempted to switch my home gym but discovered the first month trial was essentially free. I informed them that I wanted to try the gym for two months for the training and planned to cancel. However, I found out online that cancelling would cost $25 to hundreds of dollars. Due to this, I now question the trustworthiness and reliability of this gym. Therefore, I am looking to terminate my membership altogether and cancel the initial payment I made.

I canceled my personal training sessions over a year ago, and my trainer and I completed the necessary paperwork. After a period of not being charged, the sessions started being billed to my card again. I recently noticed multiple charges for sessions I had already canceled, totaling $2,[redacted]. Despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue with the general manager, I have not received a satisfactory response. I have contacted my bank, and they confirmed that charges were made to my old card as well. I am requesting a refund for these unauthorized charges and hope to have this matter resolved promptly.

I had an unpleasant experience at Crunch Fitness Mobile with Assistant Manager Dylan. Despite already paying my bill, I was denied gym access and asked to pay $[redacted] again. When I contacted the number [redacted] Dylan provided, a representative confirmed my account was paid and up to date. However, when I informed Dylan of this, his response was dismissive. I have been a member of Crunch since it opened in Mobile, but I have decided to cancel my membership after this incident.

I recently joined Crunch about 2 weeks ago. Both times I used the gym located on Broad St in Richmond, VA, I found the bathroom to be extremely filthy. There was hair all over the urinals, sink, and the floors were dirty. Another member also mentioned how dirty the place was, which was very disappointing. I decided to cancel my membership due to this issue. When I tried to cancel in person, I was informed that there was no manager available and to come back the next day.
The following day, I called and spoke to a lady who identified herself as a manager. When I explained my reason for wanting to cancel due to the unsanitary conditions of the bathroom, she responded rudely and mentioned that I would still be responsible for the annual fee as it was in the contract. However, I wasn't aware of any contract when I initially signed up. After a few days of working out in the unclean environment, I started feeling unwell and took a Covid test, which came back positive. I strongly believe I contracted the virus from the gym. Instead of being charged, I believe Crunch should cover my medical expenses related to this matter. Thank you.

Hello,
I was disappointed to learn about a recent corporate policy at Crunch that left me feeling disheartened. Yesterday, there was an unfortunate incident where my daughter's wallet was stolen from her car while she was at the gym. When she asked the front desk about security cameras, the manager mentioned they couldn't help and stated that thefts have been happening frequently. When I contacted the gym to suggest posting warnings, I was informed it goes against corporate policy. This lack of community support contradicts the close-knit atmosphere I've come to appreciate at the gym. It's disheartening to see Crunch's culture not fostering community connections. This experience has changed my perception of being a member at Crunch, and others I've spoken to feel the same way.
As a loyal member, I urge you to reconsider these policies. Especially in today's financial climate, patrons desire to feel valued and safe.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
M.P.

Greetings,
I am facing ongoing issues with staff at Crunch Fitness across multiple locations including Carmel Valley, Riverside, Temecula, Menifee, and Diamond Bar. The problems involve harassment, discrimination, and what I perceive as retaliatory behavior. I have contacted Crunch corporate via telephone and email but have not received any response. I have also submitted several complaints with no resolution. I am seeking assistance from higher authorities to address these grievances. Thank you.
Respectfully,
Tyrone Clation

While working out with my brother, he misplaced his wallet, and we later found it at the gym's lost and found with $40 missing. After discussing the issue with the staff, they mentioned the complexity of accessing security footage without involving corporate or filing a police report, especially due to the involvement of cash. I feel the situation isn't being treated with the urgency it deserves, as the missing money could implicate either a member or an employee at Crunch. I hope Crunch will prioritize protecting its members by reviewing the security footage, returning the lost money, and addressing any potential theft to uphold their reputation. It's concerning that this occurred at the Crunch gym in Buford, GA, between 7:50am and 9:10am on 10/11/23.

I underwent surgery on September 19th. Prior to the procedure, I spoke with a young lady at the Westland location who claimed to be the manager. I informed her about my upcoming surgery and asked if there was anything I needed to do with my membership, as I had already paid for a year. She assured me my account would be put on freeze until I returned. However, when I returned on Saturday, October 21st, at 11:15am to work out, I was surprised to find out that she had canceled my membership without informing me. She then suggested that I might have another account, which I was unaware of. I requested a refund, but she informed me that it was not possible. She also gave me a false number to contact and blamed corporate for the cancellation of my membership. Despite this, she let me work out that day. It was only after questioning her actions that she admitted fault and blamed corporate for her decisions.

I have been a member of Crunch for over 5 years. Recently, I had an issue with another member and decided to switch to Gold's Gym. I never canceled my Crunch membership, and under the previous manager, Katie, I had an agreement to pay $15 monthly to tan once a week without using the gym equipment. However, the new manager, Jessica, has been incredibly rude. She insists that I must have a full membership to tan, despite my usage pattern. I kindly request assistance to resolve this matter as a loyal customer. I wish to remain a member at Crunch for the $15 monthly fee for tanning only. Please address this issue so I can continue my membership. Thank you.

I became a member of Crunch last spring, and then I had a knee replacement surgery. At the Auburn Crunch location, an associate informed me it was a 12-month commitment, which I understood. They mentioned a standard procedure where they charge for an extra month before canceling. However, this did not occur, and I returned the membership scanning device to Crunch. While I am willing to pay for the full year as agreed, the issue is that I am closing the account linked to the membership payments. Despite reaching out by email twice in recent weeks, I have not received any responses. Furthermore, I am unable to log into the app since I no longer have the phone number associated with it. If I do not hear back soon, I will have to close the account before December 1. I anticipate that if payments are missed, Crunch will contact me.
