I recently received a letter stating that my free checking account is being upgraded and will start charging fees if I don't maintain a $5k balance. This change is prompting me to consider paying off my Commerce card with minimal rewards and transferring my money elsewhere.
The letter lists some supposed positive perks, such as no fees for ATM transactions (which I rarely use), free check orders (who still uses checks?), a higher interest rate (although the increase is unspecified), and preferred rates (which other banks may offer better). Your claim of "challenge accepted" at the bottom means I will indeed search for a better deal on checking, savings, and credit accounts.

I have encountered an issue where I opened a new account at a branch in Affton, MO after moving from Webster Groves, MO. The teller, Sabrina Omerovic, promptly provided a debit card, promising a credit card would arrive within 15 days. Although the debit card initially worked, it is now being declined despite having sufficient funds.
I expect the bank to resolve this matter promptly, given our history of prompt payments on our home equity loan, as stated by Ms. Sabrina Omerovic. I have my doubts about their follow-through and hope for assistance in resolving this frustrating situation.

I utilized the ATM located on Lackman Road in Lenexa, KS [redacted] with my Chime bank card. The transaction process seemed normal until it instructed me to remove my card to complete the transaction. The screen froze for a few minutes and then displayed "ATM temporarily out of service" without dispensing any cash, although it deducted $[redacted].50 from my account. This incident has left me in a difficult situation as it was a significant amount of money for me, especially since I've been working long hours to save up for an upcoming trip to visit a sick family member. I kindly request this matter to be resolved promptly as I have a long drive ahead tomorrow morning.
