I have a Direct Express debit card issued by Comerica Bank. A new card was mailed on May 23, [redacted], and I have not received it. I contacted Direct Express to inquire about my card and to ask how to transfer funds to my bank account. I have bills due now and no way to pay them. The customer service representative informed me that without my new card number, a transfer of funds to my bank account from my Direct Express account cannot take place. They also mentioned that emergency funds are no longer offered. When I asked for my account and routing numbers, I was told Direct Express customers do not have them. This lack of access is causing me to incur fees I cannot afford. Despite reaching out to customer service, I have not received the assistance I need. The delays are impacting my ability to manage my finances, and I hope Direct Express and Comerica Bank can address these issues promptly. Thank you.

I experienced an issue at Comerica Bank in Millbrae, CA. On 03/04/20 at 12:32 pm, my Direct Express card was debited $[redacted] without dispensing cash. I spoke with the manager, Lisa, who advised me to dispute the transaction with Direct Express. After a lengthy process, a provisional credit of $[redacted] was issued on 03/11/20 pending investigation. Unfortunately, the dispute was denied, and the amount was deducted on 03/21/20. I intend to report this to various authorities due to the financial strain as an SSI recipient. I will be contacting the SSA, FTC, Federal Reserve, Consumers Affairs, and BBB. On March 31 and April 1, I contacted customer service and spoke with Gail Edwards, Renee, and a representative from the Corporate Quality Process Department regarding my concerns about the recent Voice Integrated Response update. The change to not requiring the full account number during phone account checks raises serious security questions. Now, only the last four digits of the social security number and security code grant full access, which seems like a compromise. I believe the previous security step should remain available upon request. Trying to reach a live person today for three hours was frustrating. Despite leaving a message for Gail Edwards, she has not returned my call as promised. The automated system kept me on hold for over 26 minutes without transferring me to an agent. Calling the Corporate number resulted in a long estimated wait time. As a long-time customer since [redacted], the service at the DeSoto branch has been excellent, but the overall corporate service leaves me questioning security, efficiency, and customer care.

My mother, Marilyn Helen Gartner (Maul), has a trust fund with your institution. Unfortunately, her wishes are not being respected. She wanted her heirs to select items from her house, but the lawyer assigned, Neil P Jansen, allowed my sister Karen to take items from the house before this was done. Also, when asked about the contents of the safety deposit box, he was not forthcoming. He mentioned finding additional items, even though an inventory of the box should have been completed. I plan to report these issues to the police in Grand Rapids soon. Despite alerting your agent in Lansing, the situation was not addressed, and I lost my belongings as I lived there for 15 years without being legally evicted according to Michigan Law. The bank is now responsible for these actions, and I urge you to ensure your agent performs her duties promptly before legal action is pursued.

Hello, my name is Mandy and I am facing an issue with my Way2Go card. I discovered approximately $[redacted] of fraudulent charges on my card. Despite following the necessary steps, Way2Go denied my claim for the unauthorized transactions linked to Uber Eats and Uber trips. I don't have an Uber account and don't want to create one simply to seek a refund. I reached out to Way2Go, waited on hold for nearly two hours, only to be informed that my claim was denied. I have been through this before and had to order multiple replacement cards due to such fraudulent activities. I have not received my new card yet, and no one has contacted me. It is 11 days late, causing me extreme pain as I need the money for urgent dental work. Due to this, I have broken teeth and require immediate assistance. If the issue is not resolved promptly, I will take legal action against Erica Small for $6,[redacted] in addition to court costs and fees. Failure to appear in court will result in a default judgment for the full amount owed for March. Appeals will only be considered with a non-refundable $1 million bond. I will also seek compensation for the interest accrued on any loans taken to cover expenses like rent, insurance, food, and gas for each day of March [redacted]. I have been a Comerica customer for 45 years, originally with Detroit Bank and Trust. However, a recent experience has caused me to lose trust. Currently in Ocala, FL, due to a family emergency, I needed to make a payment for the delivery of my SUV scheduled to arrive tonight. Despite reaching out to my local branch at Adams Rd and Walton Blvd and calling Comerica's [redacted] number, I faced difficulties obtaining a cashier's check or releasing funds. The manager was unavailable and the response was unsatisfactory. After expressing my disappointment, I was advised to visit a branch in FL, which was not feasible. Realizing the lack of assistance, I have decided to explore other banking options with branches in both FL and MI. Upon returning home, I will consider moving my accounts elsewhere given the significant funds involved.

My card's magnetic strip on the back of the card got scanned, and I've been unable to withdraw money from three different banks' ATMs over the past two weeks. I promised my son I would buy his school supplies, but I haven't been able to access my funds. Even trying to transfer money to my Cash App was declined. I really need the remaining balance for car insurance and groceries. Can someone please assist me with this issue?

Last month, I discovered fraudulent activity on my DX card, which was promptly deactivated on Jan 11th, and a replacement was issued. Unfortunately, I never received the new card despite having a locked mailbox and using USPS informed delivery services. I initiated a missing mail search with USPS but they have not located any mail from Direct Express. Given the urgency of my situation, the unreceived replacement card must be canceled, and a new one expedited to me. The delay in receiving the card has caused me to fall behind on my bills and jeopardize my financial standing. Despite numerous attempts to contact DX and the bank, my calls have not been successful, leading to frustration and inconvenience. This situation is unacceptable, and I am considering seeking assistance from a media connection to address this issue publicly. I urgently need this matter resolved as my overdue bills are impacting my financial obligations.

Comerica Bank is withholding my SSD funds, preventing me from accessing $51,[redacted] in my account for over two months. I am attempting to contact Anderson Lambert, who was a Trust & Estate advisor at the Park Avenue, New York office around [redacted]. Alternatively, I am seeking information on her replacement. Additionally, I am trying to reach Orlando Bulluck, a Senior Real Estate Department member in Detroit. However, the provided phone number ([redacted]) appears to be invalid. Orlando mentioned that the oil/gas company (Texas Petroleum/Chambers County, Texas) might request property tax payment. I have received a notice regarding this issue, but it pertains to years when the lease was under the Irrevocable Trust at Comerica from [redacted] to [redacted]. I need help resetting my password for my Way2Go Arizona account without using my card number. Finding a way to reach a person without the card number has been extremely difficult, and all I want is to reset my password for a one-time transfer. I've been unemployed for about three months and have been unable to access my funds. The process is beyond frustrating, and after spending seven hours on the phone today, it feels like a full-time job I didn't sign up for. I miss enjoying my career and feeling productive. It seems like I keep encountering unhelpful "not my department" responses. Hopefully, they can improve the support system.

I need help with my unemployment payment issue. It's been three months, and after two months, they found the problem why I wasn't paid. They fixed it, backpaid some money a month and a half ago, and put it on a Way2Go UI debit card that I never received as they sent it to the wrong address three times. I've had numerous frustrating calls with unhelpful representatives. After many failed attempts, I was finally informed I could do a one-time transfer to my bank account, which I've been requesting all along. However, I don't know my password and don't have the card number. Getting assistance seems impossible, with robots hanging up on me after long waits or unhelpful individuals, like David from Comerica, who seem more annoyed than I am. Hopefully, I can speak to a human soon. They should have support available around the clock.

I serve as the representative payee for my minor son's social security benefits. In May [redacted], I received tax form [redacted]-C indicating he was eligible for a third stimulus payment, despite his benefits being canceled. Upon checking his account, I noticed a deposit on the seventh, which did not align with the dates. Direct Express has been unhelpful regarding this issue. After reaching out to the IRS last week, they mentioned that a payment was initially released on the 7th, put on hold, and then reissued on the 19th. Direct Express insists the payment was deposited and spent on the 7th, which is inaccurate. Subsequent attempts to reconcile account statements revealed discrepancies, with transactions and dates not matching. In August, unauthorized transactions by "Google Bigo" drained funds from the account almost daily, following a deposit in September. Despite reporting these as fraud due to possible security breaches, my claims were denied. The ongoing issues with payments and discrepancies remain unresolved.

I was advised by the IRS to contact Comerica Bank to check if my funds on my bank card had been returned to them. After reaching out to Direct Express and speaking to the manager, they confirmed having received my $1,[redacted]. However, upon contacting the IRS again, they claimed not to have the funds. I suspect that some employees at Direct Express may have transferred my money onto an old card of mine, as I had multiple cards due to money being stolen. The IRS document mentions depositing $1,[redacted] on a card ending in [redacted], which was not requested by me. Another agent mentioned that I received $3,[redacted] in stimulus payments, which I never received. I have a strong feeling that two Direct Express employees may be involved in redirecting my payments.

I have not yet received my debit card. I visited the Social Security office at the London embassy in May to apply for my social security pension benefits and a debit MasterCard from Comerica. Despite several attempts to contact customer service, my calls were frequently cut off due to being in South Africa. I urgently need my card. If it is possible to send a replacement via DHL, FedEx, or UPS with a tracking number, it would greatly help me. Best regards, S.
