Hello, I'm currently learning jQuery on CodeAcademy and I've encountered a problem in the lessons "jQuery Functions and Selectors" and "Modifying HTML Elements". I have been consistently receiving the error "Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token {" when modifying the code, but the changes are not reflected on the screen. Despite this, upon submission, the system confirms the code as correct even though the displayed changes are not visible.

I have sent several emails to Code Academy without receiving any responses, which is making me very frustrated. The issue began when I signed up for a free account under [redacted] I then paid $[redacted] for the Data Structures and Algorithms course. Due to issues, I registered under [redacted] instead of [redacted] I used the same password for both accounts. Despite my attempts, I keep being redirected to the free account when trying to access the course. Even after deleting the free account, the problem persists. Hello, I’m a high school student with a low income. I previously used CA for a research project where I learned Python. I enrolled in the 6-month plan, thinking it was a one-time payment. To my surprise, I was charged again recently. I tried to cancel today, but it shows I’ll be billed until September. My family can’t afford this, and I haven't used CA in months. Upon signing up for Codecademy to learn JavaScript basics, my intention was to complete several free courses before considering the Pro subscription. Unfortunately, merely creating an account seemed to trigger the 7-day free trial for Pro, which I had not planned to use right away. With 3 days remaining and no Pro features utilized, I am disappointed that my original learning strategy was disrupted by this automatic trial initiation. I am certain that I will not subscribe without adequately assessing the Pro features during a dedicated trial period, which I believe is essential for making an informed decision. I kindly request to cancel the current trial and be given the opportunity to start a new one at my discretion in the future. It appears that this process may need refinement to better serve potential customers like myself. Additionally, despite discovering that quizzes are Pro-exclusive, I had unknowingly accessed them in the free course without clear indication. Regardless of this, I stand by my request for a fair trial experience.

In July, I signed up for Code Academy for a monthly subscription. I haven't used it since then and only intended to pay monthly. Today, when trying to cancel, I realized I was charged for a full year, which I never agreed to. I would like a refund for the yearly fee and switch back to the monthly plan for the 3 months until cancellation. Thank you.

I bought a course in December [redacted] for a 6-month period but never used it. However, I was charged in June [redacted] and December [redacted] even though I haven't utilized the course. The payment was made using my cousin's card. I am requesting a refund for the charges in June and December as I have not benefited from the course. I signed up for Codecademy Pro three months ago but requested a refund during the first week as I hadn't utilized the subscription at all. Despite assurances from customer service that my subscription would be canceled and a refund processed, I was recently charged again last month and this month without any response from customer service. I am frustrated as I never should have been charged after requesting cancellation early on. Can you please refund the charges for the past three months totaling [redacted].97 USD? I have not used Codecademy since December, and I'm disappointed with the lack of follow-through from your customer service team. Thank you for addressing this issue promptly.

In [redacted], I created an account to learn SQL for work. Recently, I tried to cancel my subscription because of a job change, but couldn't find the option. Due to work and a move, I couldn't investigate further. I am now seeking a refund for the unused 12+ months. Despite using the service for beginner SQL learning, the lack of a cancellation option or customer service number has been frustrating. $43+ has been deducted monthly from my bank account for over a year. My daughter mistakenly used my debit card to sign up for an online class, thinking it was free, resulting in an unauthorized charge. I only gave her the card for specific purchases. I recently received a call from my bank informing me that a company called Codecademy withdrew $[redacted].88 from my account. I was surprised because I thought I would only be charged less than $30 a month for the pro series. I'm really taken aback by the $[redacted].88 charge. I'm not sure if this is a monthly fee or if it occurs twice a year. Could you kindly remove my debit card information from your app and cancel my subscription, please? Thank you.
