Hello,**I live in Israel and own a [redacted] Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel. I'm facing an issue where the ignition key does not return to its original position while driving, causing the car to turn off unexpectedly. I discovered a recall program online, but my Israeli dealer "Samelet" claims there is no recall for my car. This issue is concerning as it poses a risk for accidents. My lifetime powertrain warranty was canceled because I missed the required 5-year inspection. I was never informed about this requirement, especially considering I had the transmission replaced a few months prior. An inspector came to check the transmission before the replacement, but apparently, no inspection was performed at that time. My VIN is 1J8GA59198L553835 for my [redacted] JK Wrangler. Recently, my rear differential failed, and I was informed there was no longer any powertrain warranty in effect. I had to cover the costs myself due to the missed inspection, despite the previous inspector evaluating the transmission for replacement.

I submitted a case online on August 4 for the drag link recall on my RAM [redacted] and was assigned case number [redacted]. I was supposed to hear from a case manager within 24-48 hours but received no response. After reaching out multiple times over the course of a month, I discovered that my case had been closed without any explanation. A new case was opened ([redacted]) but the same 24-48 hour response timeframe was given. After another month of back and forth, I finally received a voicemail stating a permanent fix is available, with no contact information provided. When trying to schedule service, my dealer said they need authorization from Chrysler but have no contact for this specific recall/repair. I've been trying relentlessly for the past week to get approval for the work I was told was already approved, but keep hitting a dead end. The lack of communication and organization from this recall group is incredibly frustrating. Just a simple phone call or email contact could resolve this issue efficiently for all parties involved.
