I recently worked at Chili's in Muskegon, MI. It was my second week there, and I was assigned to dish duty. The person who was supposed to train me, Cody B., was often missing. Instead of training me, he was frequently leaning against the wall by the line or using his phone. Despite his responsibilities, he was never present during my two shifts on Tuesday, 10/10, and Wednesday, 10/11. On those days, I ended up doing the work on my own. During my first week, the manager, Andy C., and Cody B. argued. Cody failed to train me properly throughout my two weeks there. He left me alone on the line even though he was supposed to be training me. Other employees mentioned the workplace being biased towards white employees. Cody himself admitted to engaging in questionable behavior. It was a frustrating experience being left to fend for myself without proper guidance during my short time at Chili's.

I dined at Chili's last night to celebrate my anniversary. I rarely eat out due to budget constraints. I always order the classic chicken crispers, only to be let down by the new version presented to me. Disappointed, I could only eat the fries and left the restaurant hungry, missing out on my favorite meal. The change to the menu item I love was unexpected and unwelcome. I urge Chili's to bring back the original chicken crispers, as it was the sole reason I frequented the restaurant. I would appreciate a gift card to partake in my beloved meal, especially after paying for a disappointing substitute.

Tonight's experience at this Chilis location was extremely disappointing. We frequent this restaurant weekly with family and friends, but tonight was exceptionally bad. We waited a long time for our drinks and starters, with our waitress seeming to forget our appetizers entirely. When our food finally arrived, the waitress mentioned they were out of soup, which would have been nice to know earlier. The manager compensated us with a discount, but our waitress's behavior was unprofessional. Our bills were incorrect and needed fixing, leading to an embarrassing outburst from the server when we mentioned it. Additionally, another server was overheard gossiping about our table. The lack of proper customer service and professionalism, especially on a busy Saturday night, was concerning. More training or personnel changes are needed to ensure a better dining experience in the future.

I recently placed an order through the email I received today. DoorDash was handling the delivery, and I have some issues with their service. Despite being willing to tip, I dislike that the burden falls on customers due to the low driver pay. I received my order cold, likely due to the delayed batched deliveries. The container for my rice bowl had impractical grooves that made it difficult to enjoy the meal fully. It would be beneficial if Chili's considered hiring their own delivery drivers instead of relying on DoorDash. Given the delivery fee I paid and Chili's fee to DoorDash, cutting out the middleman could potentially improve the overall service quality for customers. Due to these concerns, I plan to avoid ordering delivery from Chili's in the future.

I visited Chili’s today and ordered 2 Smoked House Combos at $21.98 each. However, they added an extra $6 to the total without informing me beforehand. I believe that when you order the $21.98 combo, it should include the entire meal without any additional charges. Adding an extra $3 to each combo makes it $24.98 instead of the listed $21.98. I think it would have been more transparent if they had informed me about this extra charge before I placed my order.

Today, I had a disappointing experience with my curbside pickup order. The restaurant forgot to include my drink, and when I opened my salad container, it was only half full despite being a $20 salad with chicken. I reached out to the restaurant, and they offered a refund for the missing items. However, it was frustrating to receive only about $15 worth of food out of the $37 I paid for. My order number is [redacted]54. As a loyal rewards member who frequents Chili's weekly, this experience was disheartening.
