I have a vintage Chicago Cutlery knife set with a wooden block. One knife handle broke and Corelle sent me two replacement knives, but neither matches the original. The first walnut handle 5" blade is a different color from the rest. The second is an 8" skinning knife, which is not what I need. I've been dealing with this issue since May, sending pictures and descriptions as requested. Despite others receiving full replacement sets for similar issues, I have not received the same treatment. I appreciate any assistance you can provide. Thank you, J. Powell

I have an old Chicago Cutlery knife set where the handle on the 5" blade knife broke. I reached out to Corelle Brands/Chicago in mid-May to address this issue. They sent me a 5" blade knife with a handle much lighter than my original almost black handles. After sending pictures and describing the writing on the blade, they sent me an 8" boning knife last week with a black handle that still does not match my set. I am disappointed by the slow response and lack of concern from Corelle. A friend had a broken knife replaced with an entirely new set since her set was discontinued. I'm struggling to understand why I am receiving a different treatment from them. Appreciate any assistance, J. P.

Hello, I own an older Chicago Cutlery knife set, and recently one of the handles on the 5" blade knife broke. I reached out to Corelle Brands/Chicago Cutlery in mid-May regarding this issue. They sent me a 5" blade knife, similar in shape but with a much lighter handle closer in color to the block knife holder, while my original handles are almost black. After contacting them again and sending pictures, they inquired about the writing on the blade, which reads "Designed and Marketed by Chicago Cutlery." Despite this, they proceeded to send me an 8" boning knife with a black handle that also does not match my set. I am disappointed by the lack of concern and slow response from Corelle. A friend had a different experience where Corelle replaced her discontinued set when she contacted them about a broken knife, which adds to my confusion as to why I am being treated differently. Thank you for your assistance, J.P.

I own an old Chicago Cutlery knife set, and the handle of my 5" blade knife broke. I reached out to Corelle Brands/Chicago in mid-May, and they sent me a replacement 5" blade knife with a lighter handle that doesn't match my set. After sending pictures and describing the writing on the blade, I received an 8" boning knife with a black handle that still doesn't match. I'm disappointed with the slow and unhelpful response from Corelle. Interestingly, a friend received an entirely new set when they couldn't replace her discontinued knife. I am puzzled as to why I am receiving different treatment in resolving my issue. Thank you for your attention, J. Powell

I bought a knife block and some knives approximately a year ago. Recently, one of my steak knives broke, and last night, while my husband was cutting cheese, another knife's handle snapped in half. Thankfully, he was unharmed due to wearing shoes. Throughout my adult life, I have solely purchased Chicago Cutlery products. I am concerned about the quality after experiencing two broken knives. The knife involved last night has the code 6L16Q. The one that broke previously is from my 15-piece butcher block set. I am eager to maintain loyalty to Chicago Cutlery, but I am hesitant if the durability is not up to standard. My primary goal is to replace the two broken steak knives to preserve the appearance of my butcher block set.

I own a pair of Chicago Cutlery kitchen scissors that are designed to be taken apart for cleaning, a convenient feature. Unfortunately, I am experiencing difficulty with these scissors as they no longer cut effectively, particularly struggling with plastic food wrappings. Given that Chicago Cutlery offers a lifetime warranty on their products, I believe they should replace these unusable kitchen scissors. - C. Beardsley

I purchased a block of Chicago Cutlery a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, several of the knives have become bent and are currently unusable. Specifically, one or two of the steak knives have bent tips due to falling off the counter onto the floor. Moreover, my larger knife, which I rely on for dicing, has been ruined. I frequently use this knife to cut raw meat. Last week, while cutting into a soft chicken bone, the knife rolled and got dented in the middle. This kind of damage is new to me, and I am wondering if I can obtain replacements for these knives.
