I recently obtained this card specifically for a road trip, enticed by their advertised promotions. However, I was disappointed to discover that while they promptly deduct the payment from your bank account, there is a nine-day delay before the funds become available. This caused significant issues during our journey as I relied on utilizing the funds within a shorter timeframe.
I planned to use or utilized the card for:

- $[redacted] on non-fuel purchases each in July, August, and September for the 10% cashback promotion
Unfortunately, due to the delayed availability of funds, I missed out on rewards and encountered numerous other complications. I have attempted to escalate my concerns by requesting to speak to a supervisor on two occasions, but was informed they were unavailable both times.

I am confused as to why I was not notified about my card being closed due to inactivity. In these challenging times, my family has strong ties to your company, with my father having worked for Fluor Corporation and my daughter at Cheveron. I was taken aback by the response I received over the phone, with a lady mentioning that I would need to reapply for credit. Despite facing personal difficulties such as my canceled vacation due to chemo and now due to covid-19, I always ensure my bills are taken care of diligently. It is unacceptable to assume I no longer require my card without informing me. - RLJ

I acknowledge that I acknowledge that I owe my previous balance, despite no money being withdrawn from my account. My concern lies with the late fees and interest charged without a clear explanation regarding what a confirmation entails.
Upon reviewing my account, it is evident that I consistently pay my bill in full online each month. While I understand that I may have missed a payment for my previous Chevron/Texaco credit card when the funds weren't deducted from my checking account, I did obtain a confirmation number. However, upon querying about the validity of this number, I was informed that it holds no significance and cannot be verified. My understanding is that the confirmation number signifies that you've received my payment authorization and will process it. Why, then, is it unable to be confirmed? I seek reassurance that the confirmation number is meaningful and documented.
I am willing to settle my bill, but I am requesting a detailed explanation and a refund of any associated fees.

I am pleased to have been approved for a Chevron Visa recently. However, I am facing an issue with my credit report being hit multiple times in quick succession, leading to a significant drop in my credit score. I am baffled as to why this happened and am frustrated with the situation. It will take two years for these inquiries to be removed, which I find unfair. A single application should result in one inquiry, not multiple hits on different reports. It seems excessive and careless, as if someone mindlessly spammed the submit button. This has greatly impacted my hard-earned credit score, and I need this matter rectified urgently. I rely on this card for fuel discounts during my frequent travels, but the negative impact on my credit is making me reconsider using it. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will be paying off the balances and closing the account.

I am having issues with the phone system when trying to input my card information or social security number. It keeps saying the information is unrecognized, and there is no option to speak to a representative, causing a lot of frustration. I recently discovered my auto-pay was discontinued without my knowledge, leading to an unpaid balance. I just want to set up auto-pay again and clear the balance, but the system is making it challenging. I hope this can be resolved soon, as I am considering closing my account if the issue persists.
