My recent flight experience was extremely unpleasant. Upon check-in in Hunstville, I was mistreated by a staff member who assumed I was an illegal immigrant. Despite requesting wheelchair assistance, I had to wait 15 minutes upon arrival in CLT and then found there was no wheelchair available in LGA.
During my return flight, I was seated next to an obese passenger who encroached on my seat, causing me discomfort and left arm pain. Despite raising the issue with the flight attendant, I was told there were no alternate seating arrangements.
I am deeply disappointed and wonder if this treatment was due to my Hispanic heritage. I am 70 years old and deserve better treatment. American Airlines provided me with reference number 1-[redacted]4, but it has been over a month since I last heard from them. I am eager to receive a refund promptly.

Hello, I have a flight scheduled on July 31st from Manchester, UK, to Los Angeles, US, with a 3.5-hour layover in Toronto, Canada. I needed to adjust my booking from the 2nd to the 3rd of August. I was prepared to pay the fee, and two agents assured me I would receive an email to make the payment within 30 minutes. However, upon receiving the email in just 1 minute, I attempted to pay but encountered errors preventing me from doing so. Despite spending two days trying to resolve the issue and speaking with four agents, I was eventually informed that I could not change the booking or receive a refund. This experience has been extremely disappointing. I chose this service for its affordability, but the situation has left me frustrated as I need to return home to my husband and child for their school. This poor experience has led me to decide not to use this service again and I will not be recommending it to others.
