I have not yet received my new driver's license. I completed the exam in December and was issued a temporary license which expired on February 4th, [redacted]. I have reached out twice online and also sent a certified letter on April 17th, which you received on April 25, [redacted] at 11:39 AM. My letter addressed your two demands for payment totaling $[redacted].00 for registration renewal due on March 28th. I mistakenly sent two checks of $[redacted].00 each, one being unnecessary and both were cleared at different times. I had some distractions due to a bathroom remodel. I included copies of both checks in my April letter for your reference. If you can't locate my letter, I can provide another copy along with the Vehicle Registration Renewal Notice. Thank you.

I recently received a renewal letter, but as a deaf individual, I find it confusing. The letter mentions needing to visit a field office for payment options, apply online, and complete a vision test and new picture, which cannot be done online. I have been unable to locate how to upload a picture and thumbprint. Due to health concerns during the pandemic, I prefer not to go to a field office. Would it be possible to receive a one-year extension until I am vaccinated, to avoid unnecessary exposure to COVID-19? This option would greatly help me stay safe. My driver's license number is C[redacted] for reference. Thank you.

I misplaced the Title for my [redacted] Chevrolet Blazer. The engine failed in [redacted], and I kept the vehicle in a garage until May of this year. Upon relocating to Arizona in [redacted], I had the Blazer transported on a trailer to Arizona and had the engine restored by a local mechanic. When attempting to register the car in Arizona, I was informed that I needed the Title. I obtained a temporary registration but still require the Title from California to complete the process. I submitted a request for a duplicate to the Registration Operations in Sacramento, enclosing Form REG [redacted], a month ago, but I am yet to receive a response. My temporary registration will expire on July 15th. The former California license plate number was 2FXD148. The VIN number is 1GNEV18K2HF179872. I am William H., the longtime owner of this vehicle for 25 years. I appreciate any assistance!

I resided in Novato, CA and had my [redacted] Mercedes Benz C350 registered in California; however, as Mercedes Benz Financial Services held the car loan lien, I did not have a physical title. When I moved to Tucson, Arizona four years ago, I transferred the vehicle registration. After paying off the car loan in February this year, I expected to receive the title, but instead, I was informed by MBFS that California DMV held an electronic title. I obtained a notarized release of lien from MBFS. Now, I am unsure how to proceed to obtain an official document proving my ownership, essential for any future transfers. The VIN is: WDDHF5KB2CA534960, registered under Lloyd LeRoy and Marjorie LeRoy at 15 Pepper Creek Way, Novato, CA, now residing at [redacted] N. Forty Niner Dr., Tucson, AZ [redacted]. I need guidance on how to acquire a document confirming my legal ownership status for the vehicle. Thank you for your help.

Hello, my name is Jason R., born on 02/27/[redacted]. My driver's license number is D[redacted]. I recently moved to Nevada and completed an 18-month program with permission from the San Fernando court judge. I contacted the court clerk's office to inquire about paying my fines and next steps. However, the alcohol department staff mentioned I needed a referral from the court for a program in Nevada. The judge did not mention this requirement, only to complete a program and provide proof by 8/3/[redacted]. Do I need to appear in court on 8/3/[redacted] to show my completion? How can I proceed to get my license back? Any guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated as I am eager to settle my fines and reinstate my license. Thank you.

I recently moved out of state before receiving my permanent license plates and cargo trailer title. Unfortunately, the post office did not forward my mail to Texas. To obtain a duplicate title for my trailer, I need to know my license plate number and receive the permanent registration. I only have my application number #[redacted]0 and the VIN number 4RALS1216LK071437. My temporary plate number is AY54R88. My name is Preston Wyatt, my address was [redacted] Del Rey Ave, Marina Del Rey, CA [redacted]. My dealer number is [redacted]. I attempted to fill out the form online, but my plate number did not match the DMV records. I have been unable to reach the DMV by phone as they have been closed for weeks. Obtaining this information and paperwork is crucial for me to register my trailer in Texas. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The car insurance carrier, National General, enrolled me in a six-month policy that ended on March 6, [redacted]. On the last day to make a payment without losing coverage, I called in and paid over the phone. Instead of processing the payment for another month, there was confusion which led to an incorrect lapse in coverage being reported. Despite numerous calls, the issue was resolved with the insurance company acknowledging the mistake to the DMV. However, my license remains suspended, unbeknownst to me until a recent request for a duplicate license. I urgently need assistance in rectifying this to prevent any further complications, especially the potential legal repercussions of driving with a suspended license. Contacting the mandatory actions unit has been challenging. - Corey Burke

On December 2, [redacted], I visited the DMV to apply for a Real ID, which I successfully obtained. Recently, on April 21, I received a renewal notice stating that I must physically visit the office to renew my license before it expires on August 23, [redacted]. Due to health concerns as a diabetic for 40 years, I am worried about entering crowded spaces during the current virus situation, especially since I only visited in December. Unfortunately, my online renewal attempt was unsuccessful despite meeting the qualifications for a mail-in renewal. While the notice insists on an in-person visit, no appointments are available. I am contemplating mailing my Real ID renewal along with the fee. If this isn't an option, I am unsure of what to do next.

My son purchased a used vehicle from a friend with outdated registration cards and a copy of the title showing the transfer of ownership. However, the title does not seem to be in his friend's name. His friend mentioned drafting a bill of sale. I am unsure if this is sufficient to transfer the car legally. I'm reaching out to understand what steps my son needs to take to ensure the car is registered in his name correctly. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you. - Terry J.

On Tuesday, July 8, [redacted], I submitted my DMV driver's license renewal online for my license number S[redacted], with a $37 electronic check payment, scheduled for July 16, [redacted]. Despite sending a $37 check to the CA DMV office in Sacramento on June 26, [redacted], and not receiving a response, I proceeded with the online renewal and request the destruction of the previously mailed check. I am aware of the current limitations on new appointments at DMV offices. I am interested in obtaining a Real ID in conjunction with my driver's license renewal. Could you please advise on the process for obtaining a Real ID and if there are any additional costs associated with adding it to my renewed driver's license? Thank you, A. Stoll [redacted]

I purchased a mobile home from Timothy Davis2017, but I am facing difficulties obtaining the title as he claims it was lost. This is hindering my ability to secure insurance for the [redacted] mobile home, as it is not yet registered in my name. I have tried contacting Tim several times with no resolution. I seek guidance on how to proceed with applying for a lost title, specifically seeking advice from the West Virginia DMV rather than California's. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I've been unemployed since [redacted] and homeless since [redacted]. I have a motor coach that's been in storage since around [redacted]. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford to pay for the out-of-service registration. Now, I need to register it to move the coach from the storage yard, which is closing and turning into residential space. I am seeking assistance from the DMV to waive the penalty fees that have accrued due to reasons beyond my control. I am wondering what the minimum amount is that I need to pay to obtain a license plate and make the coach legally operational. Thank you.

I need assistance with a vehicle registration issue. I am seeking guidance to avoid penalty charges and ensure the legal movement of my motor coach. I have been unemployed since [redacted], experiencing homelessness since [redacted]. My motor coach has been in storage since around [redacted], and financial constraints prevented me from keeping the registration current. Currently, I must register the vehicle to relocate it from the storage facility, which is closing for residential development. I am hopeful the DMV can assist in waiving the penalty fees, as they were a result of circumstances beyond my control. I am wondering about the minimum payment required to obtain the necessary plate and ensure the legality of moving the motor coach.

I am seeking assistance with a non-operational registration issue for my motor coach. I am currently experiencing financial hardship and need to register the vehicle to move it from a storage yard that is closing down. I am hoping the DMV can help waive any penalty fees due to my circumstances. What are the options available to pay the least amount to obtain a plate and make the coach legally operable for moving purposes?

I need assistance acquiring the title for a [redacted] Nissan, VIN # 3N1AB6AP1BL693005, currently in Nebraska. I received a notice from the California DMV requesting a smog certification and additional fees totaling $[redacted], assuming I want to register the car in California. I only seek a clear title to register it in Nebraska where no smog test is necessary, and as the car is not operational. I believe the required forms for title application and ownership transfer were completed and returned by the DMV. To proceed with obtaining the title, I need guidance on the amount owed and the next steps. The title should reflect the sale to Sauders Inc, [redacted] Glover Rd, Sidney, Nebraska [redacted], from Lori and Brock Pearce, with the previous California license plate being 6RIF595. Please contact me at [redacted] for further assistance. Thank you, Rodger Sauder

I have been using the personalized CA license plate "LUZ AZUL" since [redacted]. Recently, I decided to replace my aged plates with new ones but with the same customization. I utilized a company's services to obtain the plates for me. Providing one of my old plates as a reference, I initiated this process at the beginning of [redacted]. Despite submitting the necessary payment to the company, I have not received my new plates, and neither has the company. I am now left with just one old plate. I understand COVID-19 may have caused delays, but the wait without any communication seems excessive. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention.

I am Carl McKibben Hillenbrand, born on August 20, [redacted], and holding California driver's license F[redacted]. The DMV notified me that, due to a medical alert, I needed to submit various reports including a special eye exam report by June 20 to prevent the suspension of my license, which was due to expire on my 81st birthday. However, due to delays in scheduling an eye appointment, I missed the deadline. Given the current COVID-19 surge in Southern California and my health conditions, including two strokes, a heart attack, and being wheelchair-bound, I am concerned about visiting a crowded DMV office for the required documentation. Despite this, I urgently need a valid California ID for a house refinance by August 20. How can I obtain a California ID as a non-driver in this situation?

Stacy mentions that she was contacted by the Bankruptcy Trustee, Ms. Irma Edmonds, to retrieve the vehicle for liquidation for the estate. She asked several questions regarding the condition, location, and accessibility of the vehicle, as well as scheduling for turnover. My driver's license expired five years ago, and I am currently in Italy unable to travel. I was planning a trip before the virus outbreak to return and renew it. I have no outstanding fines and a clean driving record. My wife has MS, and I am her caregiver, needing to drive for her medical appointments. I need a temporary license urgently. I previously paid an outstanding registration fine, and despite trying to renew online through the DMV, I have had no success. I desperately need guidance on obtaining a temporary license. Your help in directing me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I received a notice of delinquent registration (Final Notice) several weeks ago, but I have been unable to reach anyone. The check number is #[redacted], dated June 22nd, but it has not been processed by my bank yet. I would appreciate assistance in resolving this matter.
