Hello Bungie employees, I have a ban issue in Destiny 2 Crucible due to poor connection for the second time. I am aware that my internet is not the best, and despite trying to improve it following your advice on the website, I still got banned. Living in Orizaba, a small city in Mexico, only allows me to have 10 Mbps download speed and unreliable upload speed through Telmex, my internet provider with a monopoly in the area. I feel it's disrespectful to ban someone who has invested $[redacted] in a game and now can't enjoy it fully since the ban also affects Gambit and Gambit Prime. While I understand your need to prevent cheating like lag switching, I hope you can empathize with my situation. I genuinely hope for a swift resolution or at least some clarity on the duration of my ban. Thank you for your time.

Hello,
My name is Cato, and I am encountering an issue with my account that requires fixing. I aimed to acquire the Not Forgotten weapon in Destiny 2 with the assistance of my cousin who played alongside me and his friends. However, while I was at work, my cousin accessed my account without authorization and obtained the weapon through dishonest means. This action has led to discrepancies in my gaming records and caused distress among my clanmates. I seek to rectify this situation by exploring the possibility of reverting my account to its previous state. I am eager to distance myself from any unfair advantages and restore the integrity of my gameplay experience. Your help in addressing this matter promptly would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely, Cato

I have been playing Destiny 2 since its launch and even Destiny from the first week it came out in [redacted]. I have put hundreds of hours into the game and enjoy it very much. Yesterday, on 4/10/[redacted], I came home and tried to play the game. When I launched it and clicked start, before reaching the character selection screen, I received a message saying I have been banned. This surprised me because the only reason I could think of for being banned would be language-related. If that's the case, they would usually give a temporary ban, not a permanent one. I don't understand why I was banned; if it was for cheating, why would I invest so much time in the game just to risk it all? If it was due to language, I apologize, but a permanent ban seems excessive. All I want is for my account to be unbanned so I can continue playing the game I love, or a refund for all the content I purchased. I'm not ready to give up on something I have dedicated a significant part of my life to.

I have recently been banned from matchmaking in Destiny 2's crucible and gambit modes due to my inconsistent internet connection. I have followed Bungie's recommendations to alleviate this issue, but I am still facing restrictions. My Xbox live username is LtzEZY, and I am seeking assistance in having this ban lifted. Destiny 2 is a game that I am deeply passionate about, and missing out on important in-game events like new DLC releases is disheartening. I am committed to resolving this matter and would appreciate any help in ensuring fair treatment regarding bans related to connectivity issues. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hello,
I am writing to address my recent ban from the game. This is my second ban, and I would like to provide some context regarding my first ban. In March, I was banned due to unstable connection and unexpected disconnections resulting from using wifi. After receiving feedback from community members, I made necessary changes to my internet setup by upgrading my package and using an Ethernet cable. Since then, my connection has been stable, and I have had no further issues or disconnections during gameplay.
Despite these improvements, I have been banned again, and I believe this ban is unjust considering the steps I have taken to address the initial issue. I have been successful in competitive gameplay and have not encountered any connectivity issues.
I kindly request a review of my ban as I believe it is unwarranted based on the improvements I have made. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Best regards.

Hello, I play on PS4 in Ireland and recently received a 2-month ban from match made activities. I believe this ban is excessive as I have been trying to play only when my internet connection is stable. Unfortunately, my connection sometimes drops without warning, causing me to lag out. My family and I plan to upgrade to fiber internet in the summer to improve this situation. I kindly request to have my ban reduced to 2 weeks as I don't want to miss the rest of the season in Destiny 2, which I enjoy playing with my clan. I apologize if I sound entitled; I simply wish to continue enjoying the game without disruptions. I will accept any decision made regarding this matter.

I am seeking clarification on the official stance regarding "cheesing" in competitive gameplay. While in the Destiny 2 PC LFG Discord server, the server owner asserts that "comp cheesing" does not violate Bungie's rules. However, I reference the TWAB from 8/30/[redacted] stating intentions to impose restrictions on players benefiting excessively from opponent disconnects. This includes addressing "voluntary" disconnects from players facing the same opponents frequently. The current strategy involves one team backing out last minute to grant the other team a victory without actual gameplay. The server owner argues this does not qualify as a "voluntary disconnect" and plans to establish a dedicated Discord channel for "cheesing" in competitive play.

Hello Bungie, I purchased Destiny 2 a few months ago, and it has been running smoothly. However on 19/4/19, after getting new internet installed, I got disconnected. When I logged back in, there were no NPCs, enemies, or players around me. This issue persists every time I log in. I paid $39 for the game, and I want to enjoy it. Please assist me in resolving this problem so I can continue playing your amazing game. Thank you, Rex in MC.

Subject: Report of Exploitative Behavior in Destiny 2 Competitive Play
Hello Bungie,
I have been dedicating a significant amount of time to playing competitively in Destiny 2 as a solo player. Unfortunately, I have observed an alarming trend where some players are exploiting the system by manipulating empty lobbies to consistently win games.
I have come across individuals on the Destiny Fireteam app who are not only using these exploits but also soliciting money from others to help them reach the Legend rank. I decided to investigate further and reached out to one of the players engaging in this behavior. I now possess evidence that confirms their regular involvement in these exploitative practices.
If you require additional evidence or information, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I am eager to understand the actions being taken to address and prevent such misconduct within the game.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Best regards,

Dear Bungie,
I wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude for all that you do. Sadly, my childhood best friend, Ryan, recently passed away. Some of our fondest memories were playing firefight and SWAT on Halo Reach after school. Despite Ryan's struggle with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, he always cherished your games, ensuring they were available at the free respite care center and hospice he founded, Ryan House. Although his new wheelchair prevented him from using a controller, he eagerly anticipated playing Destiny 2. This game has been a source of solace for me during difficult times. Bungie, your games and worlds have been a lifeline for me. Today, on what would have been Ryan's 18th birthday on 4/23/[redacted], I extend my deepest thanks for all that you have brought into our lives.

Recently, I received a temporary ban from the Bungie Destiny 2 companion app for unknowingly violating their code of conduct. I messaged a clan member offering to help with a quest by logging into their account, not realizing it was against the rules. I understand the ban, and I'm willing to stop such actions. As this is my first offense and I'm a dedicated player who has invested in multiple platforms of Destiny, I hope to get the ban reduced or lifted. I value Bungie's rules and integrity and will abide by their decision. Thank you for your assistance.
Regards,
Eric

In Destiny 2, I have encountered an issue with the Blind Well activity where I am consistently finding no other players present, making it nearly impossible to complete due to its difficulty level. Despite trying various online group finders, starting my own group, and attempting server loading tricks like crouching and walking in and out of the area repeatedly, I have not been successful in finding other players to join me. This situation has prevented me from completing bounties multiple times and is quite frustrating. I am hopeful for a solution to this problem so that I can enjoy the game as intended. Thank you.

I am encountering a significant issue with Destiny 2. My glory level is only [redacted], and I fully acknowledge that I am not a strong competitive player. I typically play on a team with individuals who have similar glory levels. Despite this, we consistently find ourselves matched against players with glory levels well above [redacted]. This leads to constant defeats, which is greatly diminishing my enjoyment and causing me distress. Gaming should be a source of fun and relaxation, not added stress. I am currently striving for Lunas, but the matchmaking system is making it feel unattainable due to its glaring flaws. Bungie seems to be offering a flawed product in its current state. I experienced an unjust penalty in my recent match, where I received an error message "baboon" and was removed from the game despite not violating any rules.

This feedback is about the overpowered state of hunters in the game and how it has shifted from the more balanced classes in Destiny 1. The player expresses frustration with the current imbalance and strong preference for a return to balanced gameplay where each class had its strengths and weaknesses. The message calls for the developers to address the perceived favoritism towards hunters and make adjustments to ensure a more level playing field for all classes.

Hello, my name is David. Since day 1, I have been a dedicated Destiny fan and customer. Unfortunately, my account has been causing me nothing but trouble. Originally linked to my PS4, my account was banned due to inappropriate language in my PSN ID. Despite many attempts over the years, I have been unable to relink my account to apps for remote management or equipment viewing. Every time I try to connect it, I receive messages stating that no account is found with that name or that linking is not possible. I have been playing on this account for years without any issues until now. I am at a loss and the help questions provided are not addressing or assisting me in solving this problem. Any help in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I am experiencing an issue with the drop system. I am struggling to improve my light level due to the gear drops I receive. After completing a Nightfall on PS3, I obtained 14 strange coins and a mote of light. Despite having 61 strange coins and [redacted] motes of light, I did not receive the [redacted] weapon or armor I needed. I find the system too luck-based, and my luck tends to be poor. Starting over on PS3 after my Xbox [redacted] died has been difficult since I cannot transfer my account. It is frustrating not to receive any exotic engrams and have to dismantle lower-level engrams.

Hello, Bungie team, I am a devoted Destiny 2 player reaching out regarding the upcoming nerfs to exotics like Whisper of the Worm and Skull of Dire Ahamkara. The community values these exotics greatly, earned through extensive gameplay and grinding. We cherish their power and would rather not see them reduced in effectiveness. Please consider the community's perspective on this matter as it contributes immensely to the enjoyment and satisfaction of the game. Preserving the thrill of using these coveted rewards is essential for maintaining our enthusiasm. Your dedication to the game is appreciated, and we hope you take into account our feedback to keep Destiny 2 engaging and rewarding. Thank you for your attention to this concern.

Last night, while out with friends, I discovered my little brother playing Destiny 2 on my Xbox account. The following morning, upon attempting to log in, I was shocked to see my account was "banned". Confused as to why, my brother claimed ignorance, mentioning only that he used Xbox LFG to find Crucible teammates. After further probing, he admitted to benefiting from software that disconnects players strategically. Devastated by the situation, I feel frustrated as I've invested heavily in the game, both in time and money. My brother's actions, though unintentional due to his age, have jeopardized my account. I am desperate to rectify this and salvage my hard work.

I used Xbox LFG to find assistance in grinding out Luna’s Howl and The Recluse. However, I unknowingly joined a lobby with cheaters. The player who was supposed to "carry" us resorted to unethical tactics, causing the opposing team to disconnect during a match. I only suspected foul play when another player mentioned "ddosing" in our party chat. Realizing the cheating, I promptly left the fireteam. I have invested a significant amount of time and money into Destiny, playing over five hundred hours and spending close to $[redacted]. Kindly assist me in addressing this issue to prevent any account bans.

I recently received a ban on my Warlock character for supposedly leaving matches prematurely. Despite never intentionally exiting matches early, I have been disconnected multiple times due to error code Baboon. My understanding is that bans are for intentional early exits, not for errors. I have been an avid Destiny player since launch, having invested in all the DLCs. Being accused of dishonesty or theft is unacceptable. Banning my character for circumstances beyond my control is unjust. I urge you to resolve this issue promptly. If I face another ban due to an error code, I will consider legal action. I have devoted countless hours to Destiny, especially grinding Comp solo to reach a fable rank, only to encounter this situation.
