My name is Mason Dix, and on Sunday, September 29, [redacted], I attended the Bills v. New England game with my brother-in-law, Mr. David Divers, who is visually impaired and uses a cane. As we passed through the security checkpoint, Mr. Divers unintentionally moved ahead of me. I had my ticket ready to show the stadium police/security when a guard abruptly pulled me aside. As a 60-year-old black man, I felt this was discriminatory. Despite feeling troubled, I chose not to escalate the situation. Thankfully, another female guard who witnessed the incident checked my ticket and allowed me to proceed, wishing me to enjoy the game. I attempted to focus on the game, but the incident weighed on my mind.

As a season ticket holder with account number [redacted], I recently received an email containing instructions for the upcoming Steelers game. The email suggested adding the ticket (and parking pass if relevant) to my phone's digital wallet in advance to avoid connectivity issues at the stadium. However, I only have a [redacted] season ticket in the form of a plastic card, similar to a credit card. I don't own a smartphone or android device, but rather a flip phone. My main concern is whether I can simply use this plastic card to enter the stadium, given my lack of a smartphone. Additionally, I encountered a frustrating two-hour wait on the customer service line with disruptive noises, only to be informed of technical difficulties and promptly disconnected.
