To whom it may concern, I recently purchased an 8-piece chicken and biscuit box from the Grantsboro, N.C. store. While eating one of the biscuits, I found a hair in it, which was quite disgusting. I called the store to inform the assistant manager, and her response was very unsatisfactory. She seemed indifferent and even suggested if I wanted more chicken or money instead. This lack of concern and professionalism was very frustrating. I tried to explain the issue, but she kept interrupting me. As someone who has been a restaurant manager before, I understand the importance of customer service and food quality. The way this situation was handled reflects poorly on the store's reputation. It's disappointing to see such a disregard for customer satisfaction and cleanliness protocols.

I had a tough biscuit initially and went back on Tuesday night around 7:25 pm to ask for a replacement. The staff member, described as Mexican-looking, opened the box with bare hands to give me a different one using tongs from the warmer, which also wasn't great. After an entire day at Tweetsie with my 3-year-old grandson, I stopped as we were driving to Sugar Grove to eat. However, the food was all cold and reheated poorly. The staff member mentioned the oven issue but didn't bother to make fresh biscuits. I have proof of my visit through phone and bank records, which I shared with manager Chris Yerton on 3/5/18. My card number ends in [redacted].

I, Curtis Cartlidge, have frequented the Bojangles store at Southern Shopping Center in Norfolk, Virginia for many years. Initially, the food was delicious when the store first opened. However, over the past year, the food quality has deteriorated significantly. Today, on Friday 07/18, I visited the Bojangles at Southern Shopping Center and ordered the 8 piece Tailgate with Cajun pintos and French Fries. Unfortunately, the food tasted as if it had been cooked in old, reused grease, resulting in a terrible experience. I have had multiple complaints in [redacted], but this recent incident was the final straw. Unless drastic improvements are made, neither I nor anyone I know will be returning to your establishment. I intend to share my negative experiences with my family and others to inform them of the poor quality of food being served at your restaurant. Sincerely, Curtis Cartlidge

I am disappointed by my recent experience at Bojangles on November 21 at store #[redacted] in Petersburg VA. I encountered a chaotic night with over an hour wait in the drive-thru before being informed it was closed. Apparently, the chicken fryer had quit, leading to the disorganization. Despite the terrible service, I expected not to be charged for the order as I never received a receipt (which was taken by the manager). However, upon reviewing my account in December, I discovered I was indeed charged, causing an overdraft. I approached the manager, who initially claimed they were offline but now seem to be online. Despite purchasing a single meal, I demand answers from corporate regarding the delayed charge. The unprofessional behavior of the employees further adds to my dissatisfaction. I would appreciate assistance in the form of a gift card to rectify this unacceptable situation.

The previous manager Jeanette disappeared a few days ago, and none of the current managers have provided any information about her whereabouts. It's unprofessional behavior on the part of Earlip and Garbarla. Garbarla has been giving instructions without addressing the situation. When I visited on June 15, [redacted], Garbarla asked me to clean without explaining anything. When I contacted the corporate office and spoke to Charlotte, she seemed upset. Earlip just walked around without much interaction. They often speak in Spanish among themselves, which gives the impression that they might be talking about those who don't understand Spanish. Can Human Resources please contact me? This situation with these individuals is concerning.

Recently, visited Bojangles location on the corner of Bear Dr. & Faris Rd. in Greenville, S.C. My order of 12 supremes & 6 biscuits took about 20 minutes to be ready. Even though the person behind me received their food before me, this seems to happen every time I visit this particular store. I spoke up about the long wait inside the store, and the situation escalated when a young black cook confronted me aggressively, even after the manager intervened. The behavior of the employee was completely unacceptable for someone representing your business. If action is not taken against this employee and I am not compensated for the way I was treated, I may have to involve legal help. I look forward to hearing how you plan to address this issue.

On December 3, [redacted], around 12:50 PM, my niece and I visited your James City, North Carolina location. We ordered two $5.00 tender specials with French fries, a large lemonade, and a large Dr Pepper at the drive-thru. Upon payment, we were initially told the total was $10.68, but upon arrival at the window, we were asked for an additional dollar. We handed over the exact change but later realized we didn't receive a receipt with our order. I suspect that the total amount we paid may not have been correct for the items we ordered. I would appreciate it if someone could confirm the total for our meals. If there was any improper conduct by the staff, I request a refund and proper investigation into the situation.

I visited Bojangles in Waxhaw, NC, and unfortunately, the service was as poor as usual. This morning, I encountered a particularly rude shift manager named Ebonie. When I approached the drive-thru, although there was no one else in line, she took a long time to greet me. When I asked about the gravy consistency, she claimed not to understand the term "runny." I then ordered 2 special sausage biscuits with cheese for $2 each. Surprisingly, my total came to $5.32. When I questioned the pricing at the window, she refused to give me a receipt without payment. Frustrated, I decided to forgo the order. To top it off, Ebonie displayed a total lack of knowledge about the pricing and was incredibly impolite. Overall, it was an unpleasant experience with no regard for customer service.

During my visit to the drive-thru to pick up my order, there was an issue regarding the lack of napkins. When I politely entered the restaurant to request some, I was met with a rude response from one of the employees. The situation escalated with inappropriate language and threats directed towards me and my girlfriend, which was extremely upsetting. The manager's unprofessional behavior further added to the negative experience. I believe that the way we were treated was completely unacceptable. I am contemplating never patronizing this location again and am even considering boycotting Bojangles altogether. My family and I are disappointed by this incident and feel that it should be addressed promptly.

On Thursday, October 1, [redacted], between 5:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., I visited the drive-thru on Patton Avenue in Asheville, NC. I ordered breakfast amounting to $5.33. Despite giving the cashier a $20.00 bill and receiving change of $.67, I later realized she hadn't returned my remaining cash. When I approached the drive-thru window to inquire, I was told the manager needed to be involved. The cash drawer was checked and only exceeded by the amount of my missing change. Unable to prove my $20.00 payment without it being recorded on the receipt, I have come to terms with not recovering the missing $10.00. Although I did not gather the names of the cashier or manager, I wanted to share my experience. Having previously worked in retail, I understand the importance of confirming change before placing cash in the register to avoid such errors.

Today, on 10/17/[redacted], I visited the Bojangles located at [redacted] Atlee Rd in Mechanicsville, VA, and observed that many employees were not wearing masks or not wearing them correctly, which was concerning as they prepared food. The service was slow, with wait times exceeding 20 minutes for a simple order. The staff seemed unorganized, and the manager was seen shouting for help at the register. Witnessing these issues made us hesitant to eat the food we ordered, especially after seeing another customer's order being incorrect. Due to the uncomfortable experience, a refund would be preferable, given the circumstances.

I recently visited BoJangles in Sterling, VA, and had a frustrating experience. I spent an hour in the drive-thru line and ordered several meals, only to receive the wrong items and be missing some of my order. Although the restaurant initially promised to compensate for the mistake, upon my return, the staff member who made the offer was no longer there. Instead of a refund, I was given replacements and additional items. My attempts to contact the restaurant to address the issue further have been unsuccessful, as my calls go unanswered. This experience has left me disappointed and questioning whether I will return to BoJangles again. The lack of accountability and poor customer service have certainly made a negative impression.

My grandson works at your Jefferson City, TN location and ran into an issue with Regions Bank regarding his checking account. Despite providing his ID multiple times, the bank claimed they needed another copy and abruptly closed his account without notification. Consequently, his paycheck was returned when attempting to deposit it. Despite his efforts to resolve the situation and set up a new account, he has yet to receive his pay after a month. His name is Kevin James Hamker, and I am Lyn Dorton. Please address this promptly and ensure his money is deposited into his new Regions Bank account without further delay. Thank you.

I am a concerned parent regarding an incident involving my son at the Shepherdsville KY location. Recently, the manager, Jesse Rivera, physically threatened my son and destroyed his glasses, which I had purchased for over $[redacted] just two weeks prior. I believe this behavior is unacceptable and that Jesse Rivera should not be employed there any longer. I have already reached out to the corporate line, but I was dissatisfied with their response. If this matter is not resolved satisfactorily soon, I will have to escalate it through social media and potentially legal channels. My name is Jack Cross, and you can reach me at [redacted]. I have been waiting for a resolution since Tuesday but will need to consider other options if action is not taken promptly.

I am quite disappointed with the Bojangle’s locations in Lincolnton, Cherryville, and Denver, North Carolina for repeatedly running out of country ham, which is the main reason I visit. I have attempted to purchase country ham biscuits on four separate occasions in the past two weeks with no success. Today, I left the restaurant without making a purchase out of frustration. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will have to remove Bojangle’s from my list of go-to fast-food places. Kindly refrain from attributing this problem to supply shortages in the future.

I had a negative experience at Bojangles back in January when I discovered my chicken sandwich was raw. I contacted the store, and they assured me I could replace it anytime. However, when I tried to do so on June 29th, the night shift manager accused me of lying. Despite my previous complaint, she insisted she had no record of it, implying I must have visited a different location. This Church St store is the only Bojangles I've ever been to, as I run a business nearby. The customer service here is subpar, and I consistently face issues with accuracy, waiting times, and product availability. This experience has left me deeply disappointed, and I will not be returning to Bojangles. I hope they can improve their service standards at this location.

I visited Bojangles in Carthage, NC this morning with my son for breakfast via the drive-thru due to the dining area being closed. I was surprised to find out I could not order the cajun filet on a bun because of a new sandwich. Unfortunately, I don't like biscuits and only eat the cajun filet on a bun. When I inquired about the new sandwich, I was informed it's only available during lunch hours. Feeling disappointed, I left hungry and have decided not to return to the restaurant as the cajun filet on a bun is the only item I order with seasoned fries and tea. It's frustrating that I couldn't get what I wanted. It's a shame that this rule exists, and it leaves me feeling let down as I had higher expectations for Bojangles.

Upon arriving home, I discovered my order was incorrect and missing items. I called the restaurant to address the issue, but the woman I spoke with was unpleasant and insisted she did everything right. Despite explaining the mistake, she was defensive and rude. I calmly reiterated my order but she became even more disrespectful, eventually hanging up on me. I am appalled by her behavior as a customer. I am now hesitant to return to the restaurant to get the missing items. It is frustrating to deal with such poor customer service when I have hungry kids to feed. I hope to receive a callback from Bojangles regarding this matter. Thank you for your attention to this incident.

This morning, I visited the store on Jake Alexander Blvd in Salisbury, NC [redacted] to get breakfast before taking my son to school. I arrived at 7:35am and joined the drive-through line behind two cars. Despite the cars ahead of me placing their orders and proceeding, no one came on the speaker to take my order after waiting for 5 minutes. When I approached the window, I mentioned the issue to the woman. She informed me they were no longer taking orders due to a DoorDash order of [redacted]. I observed the car behind me successfully placing an order and receiving their food. I felt disappointed and questioned if the treatment was influenced by race, as the employees who were unhelpful were black, like the customers behind me. This experience, coupled with previous encounters at the East Innes Street location, where the staff (specifically a black woman) never acknowledged me at the window, has left me considering not returning to Bojangles due to the poor service.

I was refused service on 9/18/21 at 10:45 pm at the drive-thru window. I'm not entirely sure of the reason, but I felt discriminated against, as if my money wasn't welcome there. The indoor area was closed, so I opted for the drive-thru. Although I wasn't driving, I patiently waited in line behind the cars. I have been a loyal customer for over 7 years and have spent a significant amount of my hard-earned money with your establishment. As a veteran currently in a homeless transition, I was simply hungry after a long day and had the money and proper PPE mask. Desired Resolution: Please do not turn away paying customers at the drive-thru if the dining area is closed, regardless of whether they are carless, homeless, veterans, or based on their skin color, religion, or creed. P.S. All I wanted at that time was a 4-piece dinner special combo with a drink; it would have made my night. I understand that employees also have challenges, but thank you for considering this feedback. Derek A. dauguste[at]email.com [redacted]
