On Thursday, April 7, [redacted], my spouse and I dined at the Bob Evans restaurant in Corning, NY around 7 p.m. During our visit, my wife ordered the large salad plate, and although they were out of boiled eggs, the waitress offered an alternative without much inconvenience.
However, the main concern arose when I followed the waitress's suggestion and ordered the pot roast dinner. While the dish was flavorful, it was overly greasy. Unfortunately, that meal was all we had that evening. The following morning, I woke up early experiencing severe vomiting, body aches, indigestion, and prolonged belching throughout the day. I suspect it may have been related to the pot roast and possibly caused by food poisoning. Although I cannot definitively trace the source, I have decided not to dine there again.

I would like to inquire about the frozen product line available in grocery stores rather than the restaurants. Since the pandemic started, packets of sausage gravy, biscuit and gravy kits, biscuits with gravy inside, and the sausage and egg breakfast burritos have been consistently out of stock. I am curious to know if the company intends to make these products available again or if they have been discontinued permanently. I hope to receive a response regarding the availability of these items.

I made an order from Bob Evans for delivery, but upon arrival, the main course of Pot Roast was missing and the bag was stapled shut with the receipt. When I contacted the restaurant, they directed me to DoorDash, the delivery service, even though I did not order through them. This has happened twice now, and both times the issue was blamed on DoorDash, which I find unfair as they only delivered the order. Despite reaching out to the restaurant, I have not received any assistance. It's disappointing to be treated this way, and I am left without dinner tonight. I ordered the family turkey dinner at Bob Evans and had the worst experience I've ever had. My family usually loves eating at Bob Evans and we typically order the same thing, so we were shocked when the turkey and dressing were extremely dry. I wouldn't even feed it to my dog, let alone paying customers. It was a disappointing meal on Sunday, June 26th around 8 pm at the Bob Evans in Sebring, Florida. I rarely complain, but this time I felt like I wasted $50 because the food was not even worth $2 that night.

Hello, I'm Ms. Renee, and I am extremely unhappy with the service I received and the way the corporate office handled my issue. After receiving an incorrect order and being promised a gift card for the inconvenience by the manager, I tried to use it only to find it had $5.00 on it for a meal that cost more. This happened for the second time, and the pattern is concerning. The manager mentioned it was his last day and his birthday, and he advised me to contact you about the problem directly. I am puzzled as to why the gift card had so little money on it. What can be done to address this recurring issue?

I usually order the turkey dinner for takeout from Bob Evans. In the picture, there are four large slices of turkey, dressing, and a couple of sides. However, when I received my order, the turkey was in small chunks and minimal. I also requested extra gravy, but the portion was very small, maybe just around 2 tablespoons. Despite this, I still enjoy Bob Evans for breakfast. Moving forward, I think I will carefully check my takeout orders before making payment to ensure they meet my expectations.

This is the third occasion where our delivery has arrived with missing items. Despite clearly indicating on the receipt, our family-sized chicken noodle soup and an orange juice were not included, amounting to $11 and some change. Bringing this up with the restaurant is futile, as they shift the blame to DoorDash and suggest getting a refund from them. The process of reclaiming our money is so cumbersome that it hardly seems worth the trouble. I fail to comprehend why the restaurant can't simply send out the missing components of our order. They packaged it, meaning it is their error. This ongoing issue is making me strongly consider severing ties with this company for good. Being unwell and confined to the house, this latest incident has pushed me over the edge.

I recently experienced an issue at Bob Evans in Bloomington, Illinois. Instead of receiving the $45 refund, they sent me a gift card. Unfortunately, restaurants in Peoria do not accept this gift card online. To make matters worse, the family breakfast I ordered from a location in East Peoria was disappointing. Additionally, there was a $53 discrepancy in the Bloomington transaction. At the Westnedge Ave Portage, MI location at 5:30 pm on 3/11/[redacted], the greeter seated us at a table with items on the floor, including food and a red straw. There was a missing chair, possibly for a high chair. I requested a different table due to the cleanliness issues. The overall store looked unkempt with an overflowing trash bin by the entrance and salt dragged in due to snow. The waitress seemed brusque and did not follow up or provide butter and syrup. Despite the rush, the greeter appeared idle and could have assisted in cleaning. The experience was unappetizing, considering the mess, and may deter us from returning in the future.

Today, we had the worst experience with scrambled eggs. They were not scrambled at all, just flat, paper-thin, and dry. The restaurant was cold, and even though our food arrived quickly, it turned cold within minutes. This used to be our go-to place for breakfast and dinner, but after today's disappointing meal, we will need some time before returning. Please fix the issue with the scrambled eggs, so they are real scrambled eggs and not flat, paper-thin, dry ones.

As part of a retired teacher group that meets on Thursdays at Bob Evans, we have been regular customers at the Canton, MI locations for 17 years. We are disappointed to see the hearty beef vegetable soup removed from the menu. Our waitress confirmed its popularity among customers. Currently, the only soup options available are chicken noodle and potato soup. We believe that bringing back the beef vegetable soup would complement the menu well, especially with sandwiches or salads. We affectionately refer to ourselves as the Thursday Bob Evans Gals and hope that our request for the beef vegetable soup's return will be considered. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I attempted to place a pickup order online, but the Bob Evans website wouldn't accept my gift cards. I had to physically go to the Bob Evans location at [redacted] Eureka Rd Taylor, MI [redacted] to order a family-size chicken noodle soup, 2 rolls, and an apple pie. The soup was satisfactory, but the rolls were hard as rocks, possibly old or left under the heat lamp for too long. The apple pie looked messy, as if it had been hastily scooped into the container. Despite the restaurant not being busy, it took over 15 minutes to receive my order. At this rate, it feels like the restaurant might be on the brink of closure with this kind of takeout service. I used to frequent this location before Covid, and it was fantastic. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have been disappointing, especially given the current circumstances.

I placed a food delivery order on 10/01/23. Unfortunately, the salad was soggy, the chicken not crispy, and the dressing was warm while the food arrived cold.
