I purchased a laptop account around a year and a half ago which allowed installation on several devices. The account was under the username [redacted] with the password !$U_5t#". Due to the provider increasing prices, the email expired. I am unsure if I had updated my account with a new username. When I tried to log in recently, I received a suspicious activity alert.
I also subscribed to a separate mobile Android version under the account [redacted], connected to cell number [redacted]. I want to know if I can consolidate the two accounts to cover my three devices (two mobile and one laptop) without paying for both separately. Seeking guidance on this matter.
Thank you,
Lawrence P Strohmeyer

I have been dealing with malware issues on my PC after a former company accessed my Microsoft account. Suspecting script files were used to bypass Bitdefender, I did a clean Windows 10 install. Now, I'm uncertain about the integrity of my account before reinstalling Bitdefender. Do Bitdefender files include .json files or redirects? The download I'm seeing is mentioning IE 11, my original browser, but I'm now using Microsoft Edge. I'm concerned about my account's status as I can't connect the VPN on my Android devices since the security breach. Thank you for looking into this.

I attempted to purchase 2 Bitdefender products 3 days ago. However, I encountered difficulties installing the products on my end. Despite ordering and paying for both products, neither were activated or installed.
Upon contacting Bitdefender, I was transferred to 3 different representatives, with the last attempting to pass me to a fourth before requesting a refund for both products. After 3 days, only one of the products has been refunded, with the second product still showing as charged on my bank statement.
I kindly request the refund for the second product, totaling slightly over 29 dollars. Failure to process the refund would lead me to believe that Bitdefender unlawfully withheld this amount, as the products were not activated or installed.
The purchased products included virus protection, along with an installation service by Bitdefender.
I request refunds for both products promptly as my experience with Bitdefender's customer service has been challenging despite their advertised hassle-free approach.
Thank you.

I've been using Bitdefender for two years without any issues. This year, when I renewed my subscription at the end of November, I was mistakenly charged for 2 subscriptions - Total Security [redacted] and Premium VPN. I've contacted their customer support via email, but they keep insisting that I haven't activated my subscriptions yet. Frustrated, I have filed a dispute with my credit card company. All I need is for Bitdefender to cancel one of the duplicate orders. Despite having open tickets, it seems like my concerns are being disregarded.

I am having trouble understanding the email regarding my overpayment. The email mentions canceling an option on my old product to avoid double charging, but I'm unsure about the next steps. The link provided takes me to a page where I am asked to confirm whether I want to keep the automatic renewal option for my old subscription. I am hesitant about what to choose as I want to prevent any double charges. I would appreciate it if you could either accept the payment for another year's service or refund the overpayment. I prefer the latter at this point. Apologies for my confusion, I also missed your previous correspondence leading to the second payment. I have emailed you multiple times seeking clarification but have not received a response. I believe a phone call to discuss this matter with a representative would be beneficial. Thank you for your assistance. Sincerely, B. Foster

I have encountered issues with both of my laptops running BitDefender Total Security. Here are the problems I am facing:
Accessing specific websites using Safepay is slow and often results in an ERR-TIMED-OUT message, unlike when using Microsoft Edge.
Paysafe VPN does not activate automatically; I need to manually activate it each time.
Uploading files or submitting a ticket through Bitdefender Support fails to work properly.
The Chat function is unreliable due to frequent Wi-Fi disconnections and connections.
Apart from these, I experience occasional very slow broadband speeds with Virgin M100.
I am unsure how to reach out to Support for assistance. Any help with these issues would be greatly appreciated. My name is Edwin Domaille, and I am located in the UK.

I am experiencing an issue with my mail client, Thunderbird. Everything was working fine until I installed Bitdefender over McAfee. Now I keep getting an error message saying, "Current Operation on Inbox did not succeed. Mail server responded: Clientbug Select Command is not valid in this state." My emails are not loading properly. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling Thunderbird, the problem persists. I have tried adjusting Bitdefender settings to exclude email scanning, but it has not made any difference. It seems like the problem started only after installing Bitdefender. Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

I recently received an offer from Bitdefender to renew my subscription early at a discounted rate. I decided to take advantage of this offer and also purchased their additional service, "Bitdefender Install and Set-up," which I haven't used yet but plan to in the future. Upon reviewing my credit card statement, I discovered that I was mistakenly charged the regular renewal rate of $63.59 in addition to the early renewal charges of $42.39 and $31.79. I am seeking a refund for the extra charge and have been unable to reach anyone by phone (the number listed on my bill is continuously busy). I hope to resolve this issue promptly. Thank you. [I am concerned about facing difficulties accessing the installation and set-up service I paid for as well.] - G. S.

I recently renewed my account and received a confirmation message. However, I'm now being notified that my subscription will expire in three days. Today, I also received a request to activate a VPN, which stated it was for 10 devices, whereas I only have three. I unchecked the 10 devices option before proceeding, yet my PayPal is being charged for 10 devices. I want to cancel this 10-device order. Additionally, I prefer manually renewing annually rather than auto-renewing. Should I let my account expire and then re-subscribe to avoid auto-renewal?

I recently subscribed to Bitdefender antivirus, and €16 was deducted from my bank account on September 25th. I am unsure if my subscription is active. I reached out for clarification but only received a video on how to activate it. My ID number is [redacted]21. Could you confirm if my subscription is active and advise what to do if it's not? When trying to open the receipt confirmation, I receive a message about email verification, but the process seems stuck. Thank you for assisting with this matter.

I recently noticed an $89.99 charge on my Capital One Costco credit card on September 18, [redacted]. The charge was listed as "2CO.COM"BITDEFENDER.COAMSTERDAMNLD". My name is Marilla Lo, and I had previously installed BitDefender Security on my computer in February [redacted] using the code ML NNG2MZ68ZN, with an expiry date of October 29, [redacted]. I have no recollection of purchasing another BitDefender on September 18, [redacted], and cannot afford to pay for the same security software twice on my limited pension. I kindly request to have this charge reversed as I believe it to be a mistake.

I am experiencing a concerning issue with my computer. Threatening messages in rectangular forms keep appearing on my screen, with references to McAfee, Norton, and even Elon Musk offering Bitcoin opportunities. Despite deleting them, they persist and now all my files have disappeared. The messages mention "blandcaptcha.top" and offer only a choice to Close, with no resolution in sight. This started when I renewed my membership with Bitdefender, making me worry about the security of my financial information. I urgently need help to recover my files and ensure the safety of my computer. Thank you.
Best regards,

I am having trouble accessing my Bitdefender account as someone has altered my login information across various apps, including my email. Consequently, I am unable to receive new emails or update my passwords. My service provider is currently addressing the issue. After logging out of Bitdefender on my phone, I am now unable to sign back in, leaving my device vulnerable. Could you please verify if recent changes were made to my email or password without my authorization? I have run scans on both my laptop and phone using my antivirus software, but no threats were detected. You can contact me at my new Gmail address below. I appreciate any assistance you can offer.

I purchased Bitdefender Virus Protection with Order No. [redacted]85 and Invoice B[redacted]41. I have successfully installed it on my phone but am facing issues loading it onto my PC. Despite multiple attempts, the VPN is not installed on my phone, and the Windows Protection is missing on my PC, prompting me to upgrade or reinstall for full protection. It seems like I may need to repurchase and retry the installation process. Currently, I am stuck in a loop of reinstalling without success. Considering seeking a refund to visit Staple's for assistance in resolving this matter.

I am having trouble downloading Adobe Reader onto my PC, and the old version cannot be uninstalled. It is labeled as a "Low Threat" and recommended for removal if not in use. I primarily use Adobe Reader, so should I keep it as is?
Another concern is regarding my subscription set to end on August 8, [redacted]. The Ultimate coverage for Home Users offers ten devices, which is more than I need. I am looking to upgrade to coverage for five devices only. Has the option for five devices been discontinued? Could you please guide me on where to find updated coverage for five devices? I am eager for your response.
Thank you,

Good evening,
I own an iPhone 14 Pro running on version 16.5.1. Recently, I have been facing an issue where my web protection keeps turning off multiple times a day automatically, which is becoming quite troublesome. If this matter persists, Bitdefender will lose its utility for me. After researching online, I found out that this seems to be a common problem, not just when I power on my phone. This was never an issue before. I am unable to find specific solutions for iPhones as most information is geared towards android phones. I would appreciate any advice on resolving this issue or adjusting settings. Thank you.

I believe my email may have been spoofed. A friend received a suspicious email from me with a link to "photographs." Although she didn't open it, she warned me about the potential scam. I took the following actions:
1. Deleted the email.
2. Checked my SENT box for any unusual items.
3. Ran a full scan of my PC with Bit Defender.
I wonder if my response was sufficient or if there are any additional steps I should take. Thank you.

Good day. On 24.09.[redacted], after speaking with one of your representatives over the phone, I renewed my yearly subscription by paying 39.88. However, on the same day, you also deducted 84.99 euros from my card, and I do not understand why. Recently, you also charged me 50 euros for VPN. Upon checking my account, I noticed that both subscriptions are active: one for 3-5 devices and another for 0-10 devices. I am requesting a refund of the 84.99 euros, the cancellation of the other subscription, and the deactivation of the automatic renewal for both the VPN and Bitdefender Total Security. I have attached a screenshot.

On October 1st, £74.99 was deducted from my account for renewal. After canceling this and opting for a £27.99 renewal, I noticed an additional charge of £28.00 the next day. Despite attempting to resolve this through chat, it remained unresolved. An email offering a discounted price of £35.50 was received on October 5th, which I accepted due to lack of assistance. However, I was surprised to discover that my contract was subsequently canceled. My original contract was due to end on October 6th, [redacted]. Upon checking with my credit card company, I found charges of £74.99 and £28.00 but no mention of the £35.50 payment. I am unsure about the status of my computer security, and I would appreciate a prompt response. Thank you.

I recently renewed my subscription for Bitdefender Antivirus Plus and also added VPN. With the original subscription, I would receive alerts regarding any suspicious activity through Notifications on the Bitdefender Dashboard. However, I am no longer getting these alerts on my desktop as before. Now, I have to click on the Bitdefender icon on the taskbar and then open Notifications on the Dashboard to check for any notifications. I have checked the Settings and read Bitdefender's FAQs on Notifications without finding a solution. I appreciate any assistance you can provide on this matter. Thank you.
