My aunt and I visited the Belk store in Alabaster, AL on August 21st to shop. We opted not to pre-buy since we were out of town, even though it's only a 40-minute drive for us. During our checkout in the shoe department, the sales staff informed us about free shipping. We agreed to wait a few days for our items to be shipped out. They mentioned the packages would be prepared for shipping on Friday the 23rd or definitely by Saturday the 24th. Considering our proximity to the store, we expected to receive the items by Tuesday at the latest. However, it's now Friday, August 30th, and we have yet to receive our packages. I contacted the store on Wednesday the 28th and spoke with the manager, who promised to give me an update but never did. I suspect our packages may have been overlooked for shipping. If the items do not arrive by today, the 30th, I will have to make the trip despite trying to avoid it over the holiday weekend. This experience has been disappointing, especially after being a loyal Belk customer for over 45 years. I hope this issue gets resolved promptly to prevent similar occurrences in the future. I applied for a Belk charge card on 9/30/19, made a purchase and paid it off the same day. However, at a recent visit to Belk for a sale, my account number didn't go through causing inconvenience at checkout. The clerk mistakenly used my Belk reward bucks before the issue was identified, leading me to use my husband's card to complete the purchase. Despite not receiving the card since the application, customer service instructed me to close the account and will issue a new Belk Mastercard within 7-10 days, which I was unaware of or desired. I specifically wanted a Belk store card and didn't expect a Mastercard. The lack of choice in the matter is disheartening, as I prefer the safety and simplicity of a store card. The confusion around the approval process adds to my frustration. The uncertainty may lead to canceling the card, even though I value the rewards of using a store card. I seek clarity and assistance in this matter to resolve my dissatisfaction. Thank you.

I made a purchase for $70.85 on Nov 21 at the self-checkout in Charleston, SC West Ashley store. Regrettably, I accidentally paid twice by swiping my credit card a second time, mistakenly thinking the transaction did not go through initially. It seems I misunderstood the process. I kindly request your assistance in fixing this error, as there are two identical charges for the same amount within a minute of each other on that day's records. Being 82, I may not be as proficient with electronic payments as I should be. Your help in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

1) Before June 6, I placed an order for a pair of shoes that I have yet to receive. I would like to confirm if my account has been credited for them. 2) I purchased candles, but they arrived broken with glass noises in the package. I refused the delivery and never received any information from Belk. I need to ensure that my account has been refunded for the candles. 3) Recently, a lady from Candler NC contacted me about receiving my package instead of hers. Even though I got an email saying my Poinsettia bedding was delivered, it wasn't sent to me. I request a refund for this item that I paid for. Dealing with Belk has become increasingly difficult; I face long wait times on hold with no resolution.

I am attempting to buy 6 pairs of Christmas pajamas online, each priced at $23.20. However, when I proceed to checkout, the total jumps to $58.00 without a coupon option available. I have tried reaching out via phone four times but experienced multiple disconnections and even ended up being transferred to a bank. I would appreciate resolving this issue before placing my order to ensure I get the correct price. Email me if necessary, but speaking with a representative directly would be ideal.

I made a purchase from Belk on 18 November, and they claim they delivered my order by putting it in the mailbox. However, I haven't received anything. I've been attempting to contact Belk for two days. Despite trying nine times today alone before 2 PM, I keep getting disconnected when trying to reach a customer service representative by pressing zero. I've also sent an email detailing the issue, as per the online status on my Belk app, it shows the order was delivered to my mailbox, which seems absurd, especially for items like shoes. It's frustrating not being able to speak to anyone at Belk after nearly a week of waiting for my order.

I have contacted twice to stop a Customer Service Representative from misusing my information. Despite canceling my card with Walmart, the unauthorized transactions continue in Columbus, Ohio. I've reported this to the local police and communicated with Belk. I seek justice and accountability in this matter. The situation is causing me significant stress, especially after a recent hospitalization. Any assistance would be greatly valued.

I encountered difficulties purchasing a PS5 from the Belk website due to payment credential errors. Despite attempting to ensure the accuracy of my information, including name, shipping address, and credit card number, the issue persisted. In an attempt to resolve the problem, I used a different credit card belonging to my mom, only to face the same error message. Unexpectedly, upon checking the balances, I discovered multiple charges for PS5 on both cards. I promptly contacted both banks and learned that Belk.com had processed multiple charges, subsequently refunded them, and finally charged each card once. This led to the unintentional purchase of two PS5 consoles instead of one. As I only intended to buy one, I urgently require a refund for one of the transactions, as affording even a single purchase is challenging considering the bundled cost.

I had a negative experience with a customer representative named Whitney at the Decatur, AL Belk store. Yesterday, I filed a complaint about her attitude when I was trying to find the right shade of Estee Lauder Futurist foundation. I left without buying anything and felt like she treated me poorly, almost as though she thought I was trying to get free makeup. Today, I returned hoping to deal with someone else but she continued to follow me around, giving me the impression that she considered me a potential thief. I am extremely upset and offended by this experience. It seems I have to travel 30 miles just to purchase the makeup I want. Being looked down upon is unsettling and frustrating. I believe Whitney requires further training or a change in position as she appears dissatisfied with her current role.

I recently made a purchase at Belk for nearly $1,[redacted] and unfortunately did not receive all the items I paid for. Despite my receipt showing 63 items purchased, I left the store with less than half of my items. Upon returning to the store and speaking with a manager, I was informed that the missing items were bagged and handed to me during checkout. After being told that the store could not reimburse me for the missing items, I contacted corporate customer service for further assistance. Unfortunately, I was unable to reach a satisfactory resolution and feel extremely disappointed with the poor customer service I have received during this holiday season.

Hello, I wanted to raise a concern about my payment for work done at the Valdosta, GA location in Oct [redacted]. I have been in contact numerous times via email to arrange for my check to be sent to my home address. Despite reaching out to Cheryl and Joe multiple times, I have not received any resolution. I want to clarify that I have only provided my home address, not banking details, as I am uneasy about sharing that information. The lack of payment is concerning and goes against employment laws. I am disappointed by the lack of professionalism in this situation and am considering escalating this matter to the EOC due to the delay in payment. I have not changed my contact information and have been prompt in my responses. I have already received payments from another employer, emphasizing that I should not be expected to work without compensation. I urge for confirmation today that my check has been mailed, as it has been well over a month since the initial request. My contact details remain the same, and I trust this matter will be resolved promptly.

I am experiencing an issue with Belk Reward Dollars certificates. I received a [redacted] error code when attempting to use them. Despite contacting Customer Service and speaking with five representatives, there has been no resolution. Three representatives were unable to assist, and two promised to re-issue the certificates, which has not occurred. As a long-time customer, I am disappointed in the lack of customer service at Belk. Good morning, Yesterday I visited your store and purchased a few items. However, I was disappointed by the service provided by a young lady. We had to wait for at least 15 minutes before she acknowledged us, and when we finally got her attention, she did not ask if we needed anything else or even thank us for shopping. If she was not happy about being there, she should have stayed home. My family holds a Belk card and we enjoy shopping there. I hope that in the future, all customers are greeted warmly by your staff. Thank you. -A. S.

I purchased a silver gold necklace on sale for $[redacted] to wear with my special cross but I am incredibly disappointed with it. Despite its thin design, it constantly snagged on my clothes and caught hairs. I was relieved when it finally broke.
