I am a U.S. citizen who visited Colombia as an investor and purchased a condominium in [redacted] named Torres del Prado, now Castilla del Prado in Barranquilla, Colombia through Bancolombia and Shakira's uncle, Eduardo Ripoll. Bancolombia had issues with Eduardo Ripoll and resold the project to Grupo Grama, leaving me and many others without our investments. Despite reaching out via email, phone calls, and social media, Bancolombia has not responded to my concerns. I hired a Colombian attorney, Jose Castillo, who stopped responding and purchased assets in another name, possibly as a front. I have sought help from U.S. Senators and attorneys but have yet to find a solution. Bancolombia's unethical actions have affected many more people, and I am calling for justice. The authorities' response in Colombia has been inadequate in resolving this matter. It is crucial for Bancolombia to take responsibility and stop defrauding customers. I seek for someone to address and resolve my complaint. Thank you. Wilson ABC.

A few months ago, I attempted to accept a wire transfer from the United States on my phone, but encountered difficulties in releasing the funds. After speaking with a representative and following their instructions, I was able to receive the money. However, I want to ensure that future international transactions go smoothly without the need for phone assistance. Despite another $[redacted] transfer facing the same issue, a branch provided me with a number to resolve it. Unfortunately, the number given was unhelpful. Could someone please provide me with the correct contact information for the department handling international wire transfers?

I am seeking assistance with my brother's account at Bancolombia. He had a resident Colombian Visa and necessary government-issued documents but unfortunately passed away in Colombia. I have been communicating with Bancolombia through online chats using Google Translate. Despite their promises to assign an English-speaking representative and have someone call me, this has not happened.
My request is for Bancolombia to close his account and transfer any funds to his US bank account. Your help with this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Good evening. I have called 4 times and the call gets disconnected after saying "you reap what you sow" following the request for my ID number and password, this goes on for over 35 minutes... I believe we deserve respect. If you are so busy that a call cannot be answered in over 35 minutes, something is wrong with your service. Perhaps you are receiving too many complaints or have too few staff in your call center. I would greatly appreciate if you could assist me or at least give me an estimated waiting time or call me back... your systems should be able to do that. Thank you.

I recently sent money to a recipient with Bancolombia, and unfortunately, their account got flagged and closed. I sent the funds to help my girlfriend with her emergency flight home.
I decided to cancel the transaction. However, the recipient is now requesting labor cards, pay stubs, a letter explaining why the money was sent, as well as account and payment history to reopen their account. I am hesitant to provide such detailed information and requested clarification from the recipient. They mentioned the bank wanted more information about me but didn't specify further.
I am concerned about potential shadiness. If everything is legitimate, I want to assist without compromising my security. I am thinking of asking the recipient to have the bank directly email the requirements, so I can verify with my bank's fraud department.

Dear Bancolumbia Representative,
I am writing to inquire about the status of a wire transfer sent by my company, Pledger Operating Inc, from Home 24 Bank in Mississippi on October 18th to Bancolumbia Bank in Bogota, Colombia. The transfer was for $3,[redacted].00 to the account of Jesus Alberto Giraldo.
I am concerned as I have not received confirmation of the transfer despite the funds being debited from our account. I kindly request an update on the status of these funds and a contact number for your Wire Department.
I would also like to explore the possibility of having the funds returned to our account due to the delay, and I am willing to cover any associated fees. Please reach out to me at the earliest via email or at [redacted].
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
Best regards,
