BNY Mellon Shareowner Services Customer Service Issues

About a decade ago, BNY Mellon handled the transfer of PSEG (Public Service Energy Group) stock. I owned [redacted] shares in certificate form and another [redacted] shares in book form. Recently, BNY Mellon merged with Computershare, who required shares in book form only. Following their instructions, I submitted my certificates to a bank or broker; unfortunately, I misplaced the receipt. As PA for my sister, Lillian F., the stock owner under account number PSE1 [redacted], I also transferred Con Edison shares under account C[redacted] at the same time. Now, I aim to sell both stocks.
