American Medical Response Customer Service Issues

Hello AMR, I reside in Spokane, WA. Over time, I have encountered several instances with paramedics in the area. Unfortunately, I recently experienced mistreatment from three AMR paramedics. The most troubling incident occurred when one of them initiated a bullying campaign against me while I was feeling vulnerable. This behavior is unacceptable. In contrast, the fire department paramedics in Spokane have consistently shown professionalism and compassion. I have decided to only rely on their services moving forward. AMR, I urge you to address the quality of your staff and ensure that such conduct is not repeated.

Last December, Denise Hansen had to be transported to the hospital in an ambulance due to her husband being legally blind and unable to drive her. Even though the insurance deemed it a non-emergency, it was the only way to get her the necessary medical attention. We need to appeal the bill from December last year, which is over $[redacted]. The insurance company should cover this cost.

On February 27th, I contacted [redacted] for an ambulance. I requested LIFEems, but AMR, American Medical Response, provided the service. My insurance is with LIFEems, and I received a bill from AMR for $[redacted].69. Is there a chance they would bill me the same amount as LIFEems? I understand this might seem odd, but I wanted to inquire. Paying $[redacted].69 would be challenging for me. (I am 84 years old, and my husband is under Hospice Care.)
