I traveled internationally with AA on December 24th, [redacted], specifically Flight AA [redacted] from Delhi to JFK. While at JFK airport's baggage claim area, there was a water pipe leak which required all passengers to evacuate the area and proceed with their connecting flights. We were informed that our luggage would be delivered to our final destination or we would be contacted by AA with further instructions. Up to now, I have not received any communication from AA regarding this issue. Unfortunately, I do not have a file number for reference; however, I still have my luggage tags as a form of identification.

I departed from O'Hare Airport in Chicago on 12/23/22, heading to Paraguay with connecting flights in Dallas and Sao Paulo. Upon checking my luggage, I was assured it was tagged all the way to my final destination. However, upon arriving in Paraguay on 12/24/22, my luggage did not make it. Despite filing a claim immediately, it's now 12/27/22 and I still haven't received any updates. I've been forced to buy clothing, underwear, shoes, and personal care items to last me until my return on 01/13/23. I shouldn't have to spend money on essentials due to mishandling. I'm eager to know when and how this issue will be resolved.

I flew into Washington D.C. on the 29th using flight AA [redacted]. My luggage was scheduled to arrive within 24 hours, but nearly 48 hours have passed, and it hasn't shown up. According to the tracking site, my luggage was picked up yesterday and was set to arrive by 3 P.M. on December 30. However, there have been no updates on the website regarding its location. This delay has caused me significant stress during my trip. The lack of communication from customer service is very disappointing. I am eager to receive information about the current status and whereabouts of my luggage. I would appreciate being connected with a representative over the phone to discuss this matter promptly.

Upon landing at Palm Springs airport last night (12/30), I discovered that one of my checked luggage pieces was missing from my American Airlines flight. I promptly filed a claim, and to my relief, the item was delivered to Palm Springs early this afternoon. AA assured me they would arrange for its delivery, but I have been unable to locate a contact number for the AA Palm Springs baggage claim for delivery over the past hour and forty-five minutes.
The missing item is a handicap walker, which is crucial to my mobility due to a broken femur.

I arrived in Phoenix, Arizona on December 31st and discovered items missing from my bag that night, including my valuable jewelry and perfume. I promptly filed a bag claim online and have reached out to AA customer service to address this issue, but have been unable to connect with anyone who can assist me in resolving this matter.

I was on Flight AA2118 from Key West, FL to Charlotte, NC on 01/07/23 at 2:30. I only had one roll-around carry-on for the overhead compartment. The plane was fully booked, and we were among the last few to board, missing our Class 4 loading. Upon reaching my assigned seat, I found all the overhead compartments were already full. I had to hand over my bag to a flight attendant at the front without receiving any receipt or bag tag. I was informed to collect my bag at the baggage pickup area, but it never arrived. I completed a "Delayed Baggage Receipt" with file number CLTTAA[redacted]. So far, I have not received any response from the airline. Based on the circumstances, I strongly believe my bag was not loaded onto Flight [redacted].

I lost my hearing aids on 1/17/23 while traveling from LGA to STL on American Airlines flight #[redacted]. The hearing aids were in a grey/silver charging case labeled KAFKA. I suspect they were left on the plane near seats 2D and 2F where my husband and I sat. I contacted American's Lost and Found, but was informed by Melinda, AA Warehouse Supervisor in Dallas, that no item matching my description was found. I also reached out to TSA Lost and Found and St. Louis Airport Lost and Found with no luck. I followed up with Melinda to check seats 2D and 2F, but haven't heard back. I flew from MCO to ORD on January 28. Due to a delay on my inbound flight, I missed my connection to CVG. United rebooked me on AA flight [redacted]. Upon arrival at CVG, my bag was missing. United informed me my bag was still at ORD, but later confirmed it was at CVG and would be delivered to my home in Franklin, OH by American. Despite a call on Jan 29 assuring me of the delivery, my bag has not arrived. I've been unable to track it using the tag code [redacted]. This is concerning as my bag contains essential items like my prescription medication and keys. I'm stranded without my belongings. I seek information on the status and delivery of my bag.

I flew from PHX to PDX on Sunday, March 19 and arrived in Portland at 1:10. My luggage was delayed, and I was informed at the baggage assistance desk at PDX that it would reach me around 8 p.m. that evening. However, due to my connecting flight to Larneca via London leaving before my bags arrived, I was told they would be forwarded to Larneca (LCA) to catch up with me. Despite checking online, the status shows as closed and there is no information available for the bag numbers #[redacted] and #[redacted]. I am currently out of the country, rendering the [redacted] number inaccessible to me. I have also contacted American Air Gold, but unfortunately, they were unable to assist me in locating my bags.

On December 30th, my new luggage was severely damaged during my travel. After being sent to the repair center, it has returned with only the wheels fixed. The luggage now has extensive scratches, warping, and a damaged handle that poses a safety risk. I am incredibly disappointed with the poor handling of this situation. I expected either a full repair or reimbursement for the damaged luggage. I have provided pictures and made reports at the airport detailing the severe damage. The luggage was being held at the AA office, causing me additional stress and expenses for overtime pay for my driver and delayed arrival at my condo. I am requesting fair compensation for the replacement of my brand new set of luggage, as this claim has not been handled properly.

American Airlines misplaced our luggage. We followed the link provided to submit a claim, but the PDF form seems incomplete. Despite filling it out, we couldn't find a way to submit it. The online version requests details not included in the PDF, creating a confusing situation.
Regarding mailing the form, what are the implications if it reaches American Airlines after the 30-day deadline from when the baggage was lost?

I am seeking information about the expected delivery time for my delayed bag. The bag did not reach its destination in STL on yesterday's (4-25-23) flight that originated in PDX to ORD with Alaska Airlines and was supposed to be transferred to American Airlines to reach STL. Although I found online that the bag has been located and is being sent to STL, the flight is listed as arrived in STL, but there is no confirmation if the bag made it. I accidentally left my bag at Dallas airport. I was informed that it would be transferred to the next plane going to Chattanooga airport. An American Airlines representative assured me it would arrive around 2:00 pm today, but I have not been contacted yet. My name is G. Malczewski, and my bag is a teal soft suitcase. I embarked on my journey from Pensacola International Airport, with layovers in Charlotte, Heathrow, London, before finally reaching Colombo, Sri Lanka. Unfortunately, upon my arrival in Colombo, my baggage was missing. The Sri Lankan Airlines office informed me that American Airlines had not transferred my bag to Sri Lankan Airlines. The tag number for my missing bag is AA302572. The flights I took were AA1460 on April 27th, AA734 on April 27th, and UL504 on April 28th. I traveled to Sri Lanka for my brother's wedding, so the prompt return of my bag is crucial.

I re-booked my flight to Cincinnati and need help retrieving my luggage supposed to be on the JFK flight. American Airlines staff suggested I contact customer service. After a wait, I was directed to baggage claim and submitted a request for my luggage at C3. I was advised to board if the luggage didn't arrive within 30 minutes and contact JFK's baggage claim later. I checked my bag at the AVP ticket counter and noticed that my bag tag ([redacted]) was mistakenly placed on someone else's luggage, belonging to Francis Buczynski, whose bag tag was ([redacted]). We were both in the ticket counter line at the same time for flight [redacted] to ORG on May 1st. After flying to FWA, my bag was missing at baggage claim. At the ticket counter, they discovered the mix-up when my bag tag did not match my description. It turned out they had Francis's luggage with my bag tag, and my suitcase seemed to be misplaced in Cincinnati or Cleveland. My suitcase is still unaccounted for, and I hope to locate it soon.

I received a call from Qatar Airlines this morning, May 7th, stating that they found our two bags at JFK airport. They asked if it was alright to fly them to Calgary YYC on American Airlines, to which I agreed as long as they reached Calgary. They assured me they would send them right away. Today, one of our bags was delivered by Air Canada (claim no. YYCAC94703), but unfortunately, the second bag is missing. The missing bag's number is QR528687 with booking reference number 3M3ZSQ. It is a royal blue, soft, expandable bag with an AC sticker, a thin yellow ribbon on the handle, and our address in a small side pocket. I arrived in London on June 25 from Las Vegas on an American Airlines flight that connected with Virgin Atlantic to Heathrow that day, as there was a replacement flight due to a cancelled British Air flight. However, my bags are currently located in Orlando, Florida baggage claim. I need them to be sent to London before my departure for Amsterdam on the 29th. Alternatively, they can be sent directly to Amsterdam Airport for me to pick up there. I am struggling to find a contact number to instruct the bags to be sent to Amsterdam.

On Thursday, 12/10/23, I traveled on AA 81 from London to DFW. After leaving AA, I drove to Abilene, Texas, and unfortunately realized I had picked up one checked bag but left another at DFW baggage claim with the reference number #[redacted]. I checked the AA website, which confirmed that the missing bag is still at DFW baggage claim. I contacted the AA office at Abilene, Texas regional airport and requested the agent to have DFW send the bag to ABI. I've had two phone conversations with an ABI baggage claim agent who informed me that they are awaiting confirmation from DFW about sending the bag to ABI. I am willing to go to ABI to pick up my bag.
