During our stay from 5/25 to 5/27, my sister and brother-in-law had booked two adjoining rooms for us to participate in the [redacted]-mile yard sale. Unfortunately, our room was in poor condition with cockroaches, bed bugs, and even pubic hair in the tub. Despite informing the front desk about the issues, the room had a non-functional phone, a backed-up toilet, and flooded carpet. The situation escalated when someone attempted to break into our rooms, leading to a frightening confrontation where the intruder made threats. The lack of security, broken deadbolt, and unsettling discoveries like semen in the room made us feel unsafe. Additionally, a disruptive individual with questionable behavior was staying on the premises. We sought assistance from the police multiple times, and I even sustained an injury in the bathroom. The overall experience was distressing, and we were unable to enjoy our planned activities due to the circumstances at the American's Best Value Inn in Kennett, MO. I am disappointed with the lack of response and concern from the staff and feel that proper measures should be taken to address these issues promptly.

I am a guest at America's Best Value Inn in Jackson, Michigan, at [redacted] Royal Drive, [redacted]. I am extremely dissatisfied with the amount of money I had to spend for my three-day stay. The room I was moved to after being discharged from the emergency room for a COPD and asthma attack had very bad chest pain and nausea. I used my daughter's debit card, ending in 0 7 9 8. The room was unclean and I had a terrible stay. I am requesting a refund for the $[redacted] total price I paid for the stay with taxes. I have not been able to sleep due to the uncleanliness. Can we please resolve this issue promptly?

1. During check-in, the staff members were outside smoking. Even when we asked about checking in, they finished smoking before assisting us. 2. I had reserved a room with a balcony, but upon check-in, the staff did not mention that none were available. Instead, they put me in a regular room with two queen beds. Upon entering the room, I discovered feces in the toilet that would not flush. After reporting it to the front desk, they came to fix and clean the bathroom, but the room still had a bad smell. 3. The pool was taken over by the staff and their friends, showing no respect for the guests. Some were inappropriately dressed. 4. There were rats and mice running outside the property. 5. Many areas were dirty and unsafe, with missing tiles and carpets, likely due to ongoing remodeling. 6. The elevator made concerning noises, and several guests were complaining about it. There were more issues, but complaining seemed futile. This has been my worst hotel experience to date.

My wife and I are in Jackson, Michigan, for my mother-in-law's funeral. Upon checking in at America's Best Value Inn on Royal Drive in room [redacted], we were disappointed to find no shower head, resulting in low water pressure during our shower. To make matters worse, the TV only had two working news channels, making it impossible for us to relax and watch a movie. We attempted to contact the front desk multiple times without success and felt like we were on a hidden camera show with all these issues. We would appreciate it if tonight's stay could be credited to us, and if possible, we would like to be moved to a room with functioning amenities. My name is Tommy Risner, and my wife is Ginger. I had a terrible experience at the Lockhart location. For three weeks in August, I was treated poorly. In the first week, there was a gas leak outside my room, [redacted], and I had no room service. Despite my arguments with management, nothing changed. The second and third weeks had no hot water and no room service either, even though I paid $[redacted]. I am requesting a full refund, and if the issue is not resolved, I will seek legal assistance. In a previous stay in May, I was also overcharged. This hotel is poorly managed.

My wife, cat, and I stayed at Americas Best Value Inn and Suites in Gun Barrel recently. I provided my Capital One Quicksilver credit card information last Tuesday. The agreement was that they would charge the card on Friday. On Thursday at midnight, we went to the front desk for towels and encountered the property manager, Misty, and another staff member smoking on the porch. Misty rudely handled the situation, threatened to call the police, and eventually banned us from the property. A guest in room [redacted] kindly offered to watch our cat for the night. Misty's behavior escalated, and we were forced to sleep in our van. The next day, when we called to check on our cat, Misty denied everything. We will be contacting the local police and pursuing legal action against the management for harassment and theft. My wife has already involved the local news. Additionally, Julie charged my Capital One card for days I will not be staying. This disrespectful treatment is unacceptable, and I expect a prompt response.
