I have been using Amazon for over a decade with the same login details. Recently, when I tried to access Amazon KDP Community, I was prompted with a security question about an old phone number in my account details that I couldn't recall. Despite keeping my laptop secure, I'm now unable to login to Amazon due to this unexpected query, which is unrelated to my username and password.
I am reaching out from Asia and attempted to contact Amazon via Skype at 1-[redacted], but I faced difficulties due to a time limit on Skype calls and was unable to connect.
I kindly request assistance in stopping Amazon from prompting me with the forgotten old phone number during login, as it's hindering my access to the platform.

I have been a loyal Amazon customer since [redacted] and have made numerous orders without any problems. However, my experience with SOUQ/EGYPT has been disappointing with significant delays in receiving my orders. When trying to contact them about the issue, I receive vague automated responses without any specific information or dates provided. I understand that Covid-19 has impacted businesses, but the extended delivery times are challenging to deal with.
I am currently facing delays with my last two orders: #[redacted][redacted] & #[redacted][redacted]. Another online company in Egypt, while experiencing delays, is still managing to meet their delivery estimates.
I hope SOUQ/EGYPT can improve their communication and delivery times in the future.

I am based in India and experiencing issues with a recent purchase. I ordered a Samsung 7.2 washing machine on September 25th, and despite receiving it promptly on September 27th, the product had a drainage selector problem. After contacting customer service, a technician visited, acknowledged the issue, and arranged for a pickup on October 1st. A replacement was delivered on October 9th, but it had the same defect.
Despite reporting the situation to customer care, I have only been assured a refund without a clear timeline from Amazon. The stress over the past two weeks has been overwhelming. Unfortunately, attempts to escalate the matter to the Grievance Officer and Nodal Officer have gone unanswered, leaving me disappointed.
The lack of quality checks before shipping the product twice, combined with poor response from the Nodal Officer and Grievance Officer, contradicts Amazon's claim of excellent customer service. The delays in handling the case and refund process are also concerning.
I seek assurance that such repeated incidents will be avoided in the future and clarity on when I can expect my money back. Compensation for the inconvenience caused and the prolonged hold on my funds is also requested. I urge for a smoother process and more accountability from the involved officers. Thank you.

I ordered a Lenovo Hard Disk worth [redacted], but received a wrong item, a Seagate internal hard disk. I filed a return request, which was approved, and the product was picked up after verification. However, after the return, my account was put on hold. It's been over 3 months, and I haven't received a refund. Every time I contact Amazon customer service, they assure me it will be resolved in 2-3 days, but nothing changes. Now, I'm facing pressure from my friend, as I borrowed money for the hard disk. I am having trouble verifying my phone number for my Amazon Seller Account. When I enter my phone number, Amazon is supposed to send me an SMS with a one-time pin (OTP). I have not received any SMS messages despite numerous attempts. I am based in Jordan and have confirmed that residents are eligible to open a seller account on Amazon. I joined Amazon last year to purchase an Xbox Series S and connected my debit card for the transaction. After losing the card, I bought Amazon gift cards totaling $70 from a friend. Unfortunately, I forgot to remove the blocked card from my account. When I tried to send a Netflix gift card to a friend, I accidentally used the canceled card as payment. I am seeking assistance with an issue regarding transferring my Amazon Egypt Gift card balance to my bank account. I had received a refund that added to my Gift card balance, and now Amazon Egypt claims they cannot transfer it to my bank account due to an error they made. I have contacted Amazon Egypt, but their response was unsatisfactory, stating they are unable to correct their mistake. I believe this situation to be dishonest and demand that the refund amount on my Gift card be transferred to my bank account.
